Yes, this place may be expensive for a "cheeseburger fries and drink" but where else can you get FRESHLY cut fries, a freshly cooked cheeseburger and crisp sprite?? My cheeseburger was so fresh, I had to let it cool before enjoying it. Same for our French fries(which are cut freshly on site from their potatoes). The staff were welcoming us as soon as we walked through the door, quickly took our order and then got to work preparing it! Great location, and great food! read more

Like all Five Guys locations, this spot in clean and bright, and the style of course is very modern, more than a touch sterile feeling! There is a nice, covered outside eating area. I ordered the Little Cheeseburger ($8.79). This is a nice burger, but like everything here, it is a bit pricey - this burger is single patty of sirloin and chuck, approximately 3.3 ounces - appx $2.66 per ounce! For comparison purposes: The Cheeseburger at Nick's Old Fashion is 5.3 ounces and goes for $6.30 - appx $1.19 per ounce! The Cheeseburger at Alex's in Lewisville is a 6 ounce Patty for $10.45 with a side - appx $1.57 per ounce! Five Guys makes a pretty good burger, but no better than the two mentioned above. This used to be my favorite hamburger restaurant, but as you can see its gotten too expensive for me. We placed our order and went sit down at a booth, they have 3 booths all empty and filthy. We headed to a table that was clean, we saw 4 employees all standing around laughing and not even making an effort to go and do some much needed cleaning. The food was sub=par. Located off the main road but visible in a small strip of stores with ample parking. As soon as you walk in it is very inviting. The place is well lit and everything stands out. Ample seating, a well stocked co dime tus area. Two soda fountain machines with options for everyone's taste. Employees are friendly and in a good mood. Orders are taken fairly quickly, they call your number when it's ready. They have free help yourself peanuts while you wait. I got a BLT with extra mayo, which I did not get, hence the 4 stars. It does however have lots of bacon!!! The small fries also are plenty as the cup overflows into the bag, hence why it's not 3 stars! It's a bit expensive but the unlimited drinks and peanuts plus the extra fries make up for it.....At least for this chubby guy!....Oh yeah, since I always wash my hands before I eat, I through in some pics of their spic and clean bathroom, you welcome! read more

It had been a couple of years since having me some FG, but Lace was in the mood and who am I to argue?! I've been to the Robinhood location but this was my first time giving this locale a go. Ordering worked just as smoothly as ever via the app, and this location appears fairly clean inside. I didn't dine in, but the staff there were friendly and someone over the top as you might expect if you've ever had FG before. I'm happy to see they brought the peanuts back too! Pricing is expensive, but quality in terms of fast food is maybe the best overall I can find. They are prone to mistakes (got lettuce and tomato on my burger when I didn't order that), but I can't stay too mad. Next time I get a craving for that greasy goodness, they know I'll be back! read more

I was disappointed with the garbage I was served the cook need to fired for putting trash out like that. The sandwich was thrown together a monkey could of done a better job. The manager needs to teach these cooks how to be consistent when making sandwiches this is the only Five Guys that I have been to that puts two pieces of cheese in the middle it wasn't melted they do a better job at McDonalds. The whole burger and milk shake was trash I will never return to this dump again because of the poor service and quality of my meal I highly recommend not going here. read more

What can I say, I just always love the burgers here! The lil Cheeseburger is the perfect size and I enjoy picking whatever toppings I like to pile on it. I noticed that they no longer just have regular and large sized fries but they added a lil as well! The little size was enough for the boyfriend and I to split and only have a few fries left. We usually go for their cajun fries, the seasoning on them is great! The staff here is also very friendly and sometimes make an amusing go at calling out the numbers. Am I the only one that isn't blown away by Five Guy's??? I find their prices VERY high. $7.69 for a CHEESEBURGER?!?!? Whaaaaaaaat?!? With tax, for JUST a burger (no drink or fries) was $8.21. Five Guys never disappoints, and if they do make a mistake it's corrected immediately. On this visit, they sent me home with salty cold fries, instead of the no-salt, Cajun only fries I ordered. I called and spoke with the manager Chris, and he was a total sweetheart. I know they're short-staffed in many places, because people don't wanna work! But I digress. Best burgers around! I've never been to any Five Guys location and had a bad meal. It's always excellent. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean. There are tons of options for burger toppings, from mustard and chili to grilled onions and mushrooms. The burgers are juicy and delicious, and covered in cheese. I noticed a veggie sandwich on the menu, so there are meat free options. The hot dogs are really good too. Must try the milkshakes! They're so creamy and delicious. The salted caramel is my favorite. Hits the spot on a rainy day. "Little" hamburger/cheeseburger = 1 patty but it definitely fills me up. You can put on as many toppings as you want. I recommend the grilled mushrooms, sauce(s), grilled onions, lettuce, tomato. You can also fill up on free peanuts. The staff here are funny, and they are very generous with the fries. I would love to give this location a five star rating, however, due to the peanuts inside in the store, I'm not able to eat indoors... I can only eat outside weather permitting, due to an allergy. The most important part for me is their food... All of the hamburger patties are pattied by hand and their fries are always fresh and hot! They definitely give such a large amount of fries, that I recommend sharing with a friend, especially considering the burgers are also large, but made fresh and to the way you like. I love having the option of many toppings and options for how I want it cooked, whether well done , medium well, etc. I also love having outdoor seating for a great option to enjoy the restaurant in full, but not be near the peanuts! read more

The burgers here are so tasty! The way it works is you can order a lil burger, which is a single patty or a regular burger, which is a double patty. Then you can add any of the toppings that you want... grilled onions, mushrooms, jalapeños, condiments and the like. The orders of fries are huge so keep that in mind when ordering. They can feed more than one person. When you eat in the restaurant there are shelled peanuts that you can eat at the table. still always have a problem with throwing the shells on the floor but that's just me my kids love it. I have to deduct a star because in the last year they have gotten VERY chintzy on their toppings. For the cost, I really expect more. Overall, it is a good place to grab a burger. read more

Overview: This Five Guys is a non-drive-thru, clean, burger and fries establishment located between the Costco and Walmart on Hanes Mall Blvd. The Food: There are only a few options here (burgers, hot dogs, and fries) so in reality, you should only be asking yourself two questions at first: 1) Do I want one patty (~$4) or two (~$6)? 2) Do I want cheese with that? After you get past these two questions, you have a huge array of toppings like Mayo, Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Grilled Onions, Grilled Mushrooms, Ketchup, Mustard, Relish, Onions, Jalapeños, Green Peppers, BBQ sauce, and Hot Sauce. I personally get everything except the BBQ sauce and jalapeños. I'm not a fan of the hot dogs or bacon here so I can't give any recommendations for toppings. I find the burgers to be truly excellent and better than In-N-Out burger due to these wonderful toppings, as well as what I think are bigger, fattier burger patties. I also order either "regular" (~$3.50 portioned for 2 people) or "large" (~$5 portioned for about 3 people) fries which are pretty salty and often "nubby" but fine in my book. I also greatly enjoy their use of the fancy Coke make-your-own-drink machines. The Service: Bunch of friendly guys who make your order relatively quick (~5 min for a typical meal). Good attitudes here. No waiter service. The Establishment: Well kept, with dozens of clean white tables for 2+ people. Free peanuts that nobody seems to take advantage of because the fries are a much better complement to a burger. Conclusions: This Five Guys on Hanes Mall is a delicious, extremely unhealthy burger and fries joint without a drive-thru that has higher than normal prices (expect to pay more than $11 for a meal as of April, 2015). I highly recommend it specifically for people who want a place to sit down and eat before or after watching a movie at the very close by Carmike Cinemas next to the Hanes Mall Walmart. If their prices were more in line with normal fast-food, I would give it 4 stars, but at the current prices, I think your money would be better spent at Chipotle or Wendy's. read more

Since my last review 3 months ago, I decided to give this place a try again since I was told it was a fluke. Again.. the fry portions are the worst I have ever seen. There were just enough cajun fries to fill the cup. Remind me what I am paying for when I come here. The service is funny and the atmosphere is great.
