Always a fan of Dario. The food is ALWAYS good and the service is always friendly. This location is no different, very clean and friendly staff. Parking around this location is a bit tricky as you park not in the restaurant parking area to walk over so be aware of that!

Went to Dario's for ice cream last evening. Amazed how crowded it was for 730 PM on a Sunday. My kids and my wife all ordered hand scooped ice cream. I ordered cake and ice cream sundae. We enjoyed our time and our ice cream. Parking was east like how the menu offered so much options

Dairi-O is possibly the best fast food restaurant there is! This small chain originated in King, North Carolina, in 1947. It was a small, roadside ice cream and hot dog joint. Today there are a dozen or so locations from Jacksonville to Hendersonville. They are modern, clean, and easy to eat in or drive through. The menu ranges from a great hot dog, to burgers of all sizes, chicken, and a variety of sandwiches. They are all good. Dairi-O has a great selection of hand dipped ice cream in bowls or cones. There are shakes and sundaes. The drive through is almost as good as Chic-fil-A. Looking for a fast, quality meal at reasonable prices, look no further than Dairi-O!!

I went pretty early. Patrons were piling in steadily. This was a good sign. The cashier was super nice. I order a hot dog special. The hot dogs and toppings were delicious. I really enjoyed the meal. They give you an ample amount of fries. They had a lot of searing throughout the restaurant. The bathrooms were clean. The restaurant was also clean. I thought I would save room for dessert, but I ate too much with the hot dog special. I will definitely stop in again and the next time I will try their dessert.

Dairio in Winston-Salem has been a longtime favorite of mine since childhood, back when the only spot was in downtown King. I remember the nostalgia every time I go--it's like a trip down memory lane, but with a much bigger menu now! I ordered two plain hot dogs, fries, and a chicken gyro this time. The hot dogs were just as classic as I remembered, no bells and whistles, just good, simple comfort food. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the chicken gyro added an unexpected twist--who knew Dairio could dabble in Mediterranean too? It's the ultimate spot for a bit of everything, just as it's always been.

Never have I ever had a burger heat up so well. I've simply been sleeping on Dairi-0. I've had people telling me this for so long but I finally stopped in. I picked up a hot dog all the way, a cheeseburger, and some fries. Everything was absolutely delicious. The hot dog was incredible and I tried the burger but ended up saving it for the next day and it heated up very well. I got the jalapeño ranch per some recommendations and it really put everything over the top. I'll be back for more, Dairi-O

The food was ok and can't say too much about the service, because its pretty much self, but the ambiance was nice and chilled for a family.

The "all star" salad is delicious. Speedy service. There attention to detail is appreciated when it comes to "complex" orders.

I'm so glad we did, because this might honestly be one of the best hot dogs in Winston. I got two dogs with ketchup, mustard, and onions, and my husband got two all the way (Carolina style). Everything was delicious. The line was a little long, but it moved quickly, and the food came out fast too, which I appreciated. The hot dogs themselves were top-tier in flavor, but I have to talk about the buns. The buns were perfectly toasted with butter you could actually taste, and it made all the difference. Seriously, I'm still thinking about these hot dogs. We'll definitely be back, and I'd recommend them to anyone who loves a good hot dog.

You don't run out of hot dog before you get to the end of the bread like some places. The chili is really good and they use red onions instead of yellow or white. And the slaw is good as well. And don't sleep on the smoke sausages. They are beef as well and so juicy. You get a choice of 5 toppings but I always get spicy mustard, texas pete hot sauce and grilled onions. You can get it split or whole. And did I mention how affordable it is? The only negative I can give is no fries, the combo comes with chips and a canned soda. You can upgrade to a glass soda for an extra $1. Give them a try and let me know what you think.

So there was a wait and I was in no rush. My order for two dogs all the way with slaw and toasted bun. Along with Cheerwine and bag of chips. Dogs were great but one bun was burnt slightly. There is no ambiance like it's 108 years old. So can cut it some slack. Fortunately the employees are much younger! As for ambiance not much except so far best dogs in Triad IMO. I have a rule to never eat in my automobile. Not many option where people do eat in their car.Wooden stumps to side of place to sit but too hot for that. You would think after 108 years money would be allocated for small shelters with seats. And warning NO public restroom. To sum it up will rate it four stars Ambiance leave it as is. I tried a hot dog all the way, one without slaw, and a sausage dog with spicy mustard. These are good hot dogs - all beef franks, grilled buns (nice touch that), nice chili with a touch of sweetness, and all sorts of toppings if you are so inclined. The smoke sausage was of the same quality as the franks, with a rich smokey taste and a touch of heat, and the spicy mustard added some bite. The slaw is shredded rather than chopped, and has some heat of its own. If I can get the kraut on the side & add once I reach my destination & I'm ready to have my meal that would be great. The fries were so tasty, some crispy like I like them & others just right.
