These donuts are to die for! The variety of flavors are out of the ordinary but are flavor impact. I got the moose tracks donuts, orange donut and a small coffee. I finally got a chance to stop in here the other day! I have been wanting to try them but had not had a chance. I was with my sister & we each got a donut and ordered one for our mom. I got the Oreo ($3.50), she got the raspberry jelly filled ($3.25) and we got our mom a chocolate glazed ($2.25). They were all very good (huge but good). I shared mine with a friend so I could save some calories. They didn't have the names of the donuts listed, so it was hard to initially choose until we spoke to the girl behind the counter, and then I felt like I was holding the line up. I recommend this place but I don't think it's somewhere you would stop in all the time due to the prices. read more

Definitely the best donut shop I've ever been too. The selection is insane- too much for me to make decisions on one visit alone. Needless to say I'll be back for more. I tried the pumpkin cheesecake filled- even had a graham cracker base beneath the donut itself. Also had a maple bacon (with good quality bacon surprisingly) and an Oreo. The maple bacon was perfectly salty sweet and the Oreo is covered in cream and crushed Oreos which was exactly what I wanted. All 3 donuts were excellent. The pumpkin one was so big I was full after eating it. They bake them all fresh in the morning and sell until they're gone. We arrived at 9:30 on a Saturday morning with all the choices still there. Next I I will try the Cookie Monster, coffee cannoli, or French toast. Can't wait to go back. read more

I was disappointed. We came in around 9AM after reading great reviews, and the shop smelled awful. I wish I could say it was just burnt bacon, but it wasn't, it just smelled terrible and was very hard to breathe. We were rushed through the line, we asked what each flavor was (because these aren't typical donuts and there aren't any signs for each donut flavor) and the man behind the counter spat out half the flavor names as quickly as possible. We chose a giant chocolate sprinkled donut, a giant colorful sprinkled donut, and a lemon meringue?? (I think that's what he called it..) The large donuts were big enough for two people, they were light and had good flavor and a ton of sprinkles. The lemon had a hit or miss lemon flavor, and the meringue on top was more like a tasteless marshmallow. Ew, not pleasant. Maybe we will try again, but most likely not. Bummer. read more

I've never had a bad experience at Five-O Donut Co on Ringling until today. Their donuts are AMAZING, but the attendant today was awful. A 94 year old elderly gentleman in front of me with a cane ordered 10 donuts for the girls at his doctor's office. 10 donuts. Literally, she was frazzled by 10 donuts. She put them in 2 separate boxes so I suggested she put them in one (make them fit) because it would be hard for the gentleman to carry two boxes and use his cane. She was so frazzled she said something like, hold on a minute, let me first get them right and then I will. Get them right? His order was 6 of the plain and 4 of the fancies, and gave her the option to pick whichever ones she wanted. So she "gets them right" and still puts them in 2 boxes. I repeated my suggestion, to which she got perturbed and told me it was the only box she had, BUT THE TWO BOXES HAD SPACE IN THEM, a fact that must have escaped her. She said, I'm going to help him out to his car with the boxes. I said, are you going to help him into the doctor's office with them? She ignored me at that point and the elderly gentleman said to me, "thanks for trying." My turn came and I asked for an Oreo donut in the plastic container I pointed to (because it was for a coworker). She said, perfect. She threw it in a bag. I said, can I please have it in this plastic container and pointed to it again? She said, oh, do you want it in the plastic container or do you want the donut holes in that container? WHAT??? OMG! I WAS SO GLAD TO GET MY DONUT AND GET OUT OF THERE. Let's just say next time I crave donuts from Five-O for me or ANYBODY ELSE and she is the only one minding the front, we won't be getting donuts. read more

Very cute concept, and I love the idea of a donut surveillance camera to see what's available before we go in. The doughnuts are good, and there was a good variety, but get ready to smell like grease the rest of the day. Between sitting in the poorly-ventilated shop and eating super-greasy donuts, we reeked of grease the rest of the day. The only other complaint I have is I'd like to see more variety, especially with more filled donut options, since the donuts are pricey, and it would be worth the money more if they were filled. Pictured is the circus animal cookie doughnut: yeast-raised with sprinkle frosting and frosted animal cracker crumbles. My personal favorite doughnut was the Raspberry. Five-O Donut Co definitely lives up to the hype. It's over the top sweet, so be prepared! The donuts are huge too! The best part about Five-O are the creative concepts. So many "hip" donut places just have the same old donuts but Five-O is always switching it up and pushing the envelope. The dough itself was a little dry but still soft. Probably would be best first thing in the morning, but I arrived at 11:30am. The upside to that however is I didn't have to fight a rush and they still had plenty of donuts. I do agree with some other reviewers that stated they need a menu. Just a whiteboard or chalkboard sign would help. read more
