I've never been inside only through the drive thru because I only tend to come on my lunch every once in a blue moon when I'm craving a burger and some fries or when my daughter wanted an ice cream cone, but I would expect the inside to be anything less than great with the service through the drive through being so good. Wife and I wanted to try this place for a while now. So we finally got to try it. We knew going in that the wait time in the drive through would be long BUT what you get at the end is a freshly made burger with hot crunchy fries. So quit your complaining about the wait time, listen to some 80's music or a Podcast. I got combo #1 (3 patties dude) the better half got the Avocado Burger combo. I asked for curly fries, but I got some crinkle fries, but they were fried extra crispy so I was OK with that. Hot dog! Five star burger is a fantastic, clean, and fun burger joint in Stockton right next to Costco. They have a wonderful halal menu which is dedicated to ethical good food. Their customer service is amazing. Everyone is greeted upon entering with the famous "Welcome to FIVE Star!". My family has come here 5 times since they opened, and it's been consistently excellent. I visited this establishment recently. In terms of service, my server was quick to take and serve my order. I got a pastrami sub combo with fried pickles and a medium drink. In terms of the food, I had mixed feelings. The sub had a nice smoky flavor complimented with the acidity of the pickles. However, the fried pickles were almost inedible. The breading was a bit sloppy and I could taste the flavor of old oil that was used to fry them. Overall, if you want good sandwiches and burgers, I would definitely give Five Star Burger a try.
