This is the most friendliest car wash in town! I went by yesterday to wash my car and accidentally locked my keys in the car while vacuuming. Connor and Taylor were exceptionally friendly and helpful! They let me use their phone...mine was locked in my car with my keys and purse... supplied AAA phone number, offered me a chair and kept checking on me asking me if I needed water. I love this car wash, but it does have a minor downside. If you need a decent car wash, quick and at a great price, this is the car wash for you. I would much rather pay the few dollars to get this car wash done then get the bucket out at my house and wash my car. Way more efficient this way. However, if you are coming here on a weekend, make sure you schedule about 20 minutes. It is not that it takes a long time to actually get this car wash done, but due to the fact that it is busy, sometimes the hoses are not available. You have to choose between waiting for a hose to open up or going home to vacuum at home which kind of defeats the purpose of paying for the car wash. I feel they are great about everything, except they need to enforce the 5 minute time line a little more. No need to be super strict, but when you see people detailing their cars in the hose spots after the wash that is something they shouldn't allow. I know it is hard to tell your paying customers not to do something but it also runs the risk of people like me not using your business because of it. Somehow they need to find a happy medium. Nothing compares to hand washing a vehicle. With the effort it takes to wash, dry & wax, not to mention the time it takes, Five Star Express is the next best. I've gone here since they opened & other than the vacuum cleaner suction being a little intense, never had an issue. Due to the recent drizzle of rain we received, my car was a mess. I ordered the deluxe wash & asked the attendant if he thought that would be enough. He looked at my car, said the road dirt would wash off and the washing began. When I got home, I noticed my car was still a mess. I went back and the attendant looked at my car & offered a refund. I asked if instead I could have it washed again. He didn't charge for the second wash & my car needed two cycles to get rid of the dirt. I don't expect customer service when a machine washes my car. I was pleasantly surprised by the way they handled my concern over my car being dirty. What could have been a source of contempt ended up being something to write about. read more

A part was torn off during the wash. The cost to repair the damage was $400.00. We were given car wash certificates for a fraction of the cost. The cooperate office is in Orange County. They don't care about us in Santee. read more

this is the first drive through car wash I have been to that actually gets the back of your car and the rims! love this place, they have like 18 dryers that really do a good job on drying your car. bring a towel to get the water drops left behind, or if you don't need to vacuum your car- just hop on the 67 and get the last few drops with the wind. nice vacuums, loud, so I like to put headphones in. they give a $1 discount if you are military (but not dependents). read more

This is a particularly good car wash. Staff are quite friendly, and the set up is definitely user friendly. Only small problem I've had is that the vacuum tool has a flat head that tends to form to tight a suction connection with what's being vacuumed. The tool needs to have a head that has some ventilation that keeps it from so solidly attaching to seats, flooring, etc. read more

This car wash washes well however the rinse is mediocre. There is always wash fluids left on the back of my car, and it's a tiny car. If they added more pressure or another minute of rinse, this car wash would be great. It also seems to be hit or miss on if the bottom area of the car gets cleaned. read more

I was at your Santee, California location vacuuming my car when I locked my keys, phone and purse in my car.I was horrified and felt completely helpless. There were three staff members working at that location that day, one of them according to my receipt was Connor Ruiz. All three were very kind and helpful. Between the three of them, I was offered a phone to call for help, a chair to wait, and offered water several times.It was very hot that day and eventually one of the employees insisted I drink water which turned out to be a very good idea because I hadn't realize I was dehydrated. Absolutely the worst customer service imaginable. Took may car through the car wash and the attendant places tape over rear wiper blade, after he did so I asked to make sure it was only on he window and he assures me it was. After getting out of the car to remove the tape it's 5" down on the paint. Way to hire quality people, Minus Five Star car wash. read more

This place is great! The car wash does a wonderful job cleaning, and its only $5-10. Its a drive through car wash, the only one in town that i've found, and it cleans really well. The only other car wash for those prices is a few blocks away and its done by hand and i've never been impressed with the outcome. This car wash got all the bugs off the front of my truck from my long road trip and got all the grime and build-up off my husbands car after it sat for a couple months when he deployed. The vacuums are really powerful and they get all the sand and crumbs off the floors and seats (i have 2 toddlers). The staff are always friendly and courteous, but today the manager totally helped me dig through the dumpster after I accidentally threw out my glasses. They've earned a loyal customer for life! read more

At first glance, just a normal car wash, but upon pulling up to the booth, Sherri was excellent with her customer service. Had a smile the whole time and very pleasing. I have recommended this place to all my friends. The only thing I have to say that would be negative is that Sherri seems to be doing multiple jobs, running back and forth to give the best customer service she can. read more

Great $5 drive urself thru carwash. Quick. You do the vacuuming and if u save the receipt you can come within 2 days to vacuum if u don't have time the first time. I always bring a towel to finish drying my car. read more

Usually I am very satified with this place but the last time I went there I paid extra for the sealer and add ons. I drove out of the car wash lot, stopped at a store and got a look at my car. Got the most expensive wash and drove through. I went straight to work and at lunch noticed the back of my car was still dirty. The side and front were clean. I called them up expecting that they would just say, "our bad, come back and we'll wash your car again!" Instead the guy says, "it's been over thirty minutes, we can't do anything about man." Found this place by goggling car wash in Santee and so glad I did!! Drive through Self Serve car wash-different prices for various levels of wash . Most expensive was $10 and I think basic may have been $5 with prices in-between-I opted for $10 . The girl in cashier booth super sweet and asked if I wanted my antenna taken off and did it for me. Also was provided two free towelettes to wipe down interior and they worked just fine. Love the strong vacuum-best one I've come across self serve or those $20 washes. Very clean place. Didn't plan on getting car washed or I would have brought my own towel to dry it. Some other reviews said people were there helping you dry your vehicle but I didn't notice anyone . If there still is the $20 monthly unlimited washes ( see other review) I'm going back for that!! I agree with one reviewer that my rims weren't perfectly clean but I can bring another towels and rim cleaner the next time. I went on Monday afternoon and the place was pretty slow so got right in. Also nice strong dryers before the sign goes from " Relax" to "Go" at the end of the dry. This place beats out other self serve washes that I've used and cleanliness far superior. Check it out!! Being coming here since it open a few years ago. Most of the time have had decent experience, staff looks grumpy most of the time, and prices are $5 for a basic, $7 and $10. Today went for a $10 wash and there where about five cars in front of me, when suddenly staff started to ask drivers to back up, apparently another car change their mind last minute and wanted out. Once, the driver was gone everyone proceeded to get in line, I paid my $10, and wait like everyone else. Once my car was in the tunnel I notice all the sings for the extras that come with the $10 car wash didn't light up. When my car-wash was over, i park my car, and went to the cashier to inquire if I had receive the the super carwash, she refer to a gentleman who she said was the manager and I ask if I receive super carwas, he said yes and that the sign are delay and don't always light up. I told him I wasn't convince and before I could say anything else he interrupted me in mid sentence and proceed on telling me how many carwashes they do and that they always get it right, and that he would personally put tire dressing on my tires. This guy miss the whole point of the conversation, it was never about tire dressing, but rather how could he guarantee the super carwash was done. read more
