Bought premium wash and all it did was the basic wash. I know it didn't malfunction bc my tires were cleaned - which you have to get premium at minimum. *Best to note that you have to PAY to have towels to CLEAN your car bc there's going to be A LOT of places the washer doesn't get to, that pretty much all the other car washes do. So frustrated that the towel i did have with me, was getting filthy from wiping 1/75th of my car that i just said F it, I'll do it when i get home. THEN if this was pissing me off enough, the vacuums power/suction is an Absolute JOKE!!! I could wipe up the dirt & pebbles better with my towel!! This sent me & i was seeing red. I left and had to go to another car wash that was competent to wipe the rest of my car down and actually clean the inside of my car. Went to get my car washed today. I have a ton of bugs on the front bumper. I tell the attendant I really want them gone. I am told they are out of "bug spray", but I can go through twice if I need too. So after the first wash, I survey the bumper. It's still covered in bugs and there are bugs on the front windshield still. I drive around again and tell Them I want to go through again. The lady takes my receipt and says she has to keep it. It's OK if you want your vehicle cleaned up, but don't expect it to be spotless. I always bring extra towels for when it's finished to dry off and get the missing spots. My vehicles are left wet and a lot of missing spots for me to clean. Honestly a $9 wash leaves me feeling the same as when I do the top wash they have. I recently went through here and as I was going through the line- I asked the guy to put a piece of tape on my windshield wiper because in the PAST- At the end, the wind will break it costing almost $100 to get a new one. Also when busy you can get trapped in the parking lot, unable to leave. This is a step up from your gas station car wash, but a step down from a hand wash you could do from home or places that offer self serve hand wash. Mind you, this place IS NOT a place to take a detail, but a great place for a quick wash. Reasons I would come back: 1. 13 minutes. 13 MINUTES of my time. I was able to get my car washed & vacuumed right before heading to work. They are open from 7am-8pm! 2. Easy in and Easy out! 3. Takes credit card! 4. Super friendly and helpful workers. If it's bad enough that I can't read a flashing sign, the gentleman manning the automated car wash showed me what's up. 5. Complaints of rear windshield wipers ripping off on previous reviews. They used painter's tape to secure my rear windshield wipers so I had no issues with that. Things to keep in mind: 1. It's an automated car wash. If you come with bugs and bird poop glued on, best believe there will be some residue left over. Like I mentioned, it's a good quick rinse off if not better than just a rinse. Mazzi (yes, my car has a name and he's a boy) is much happier sans dirt, but I promised him if he's a good boy he'll get a full detail on his next oil change. 2. If you can, bring a drying towel and/or windex to dry/clean off windows and wet spots. 3. Vacuuming area has a 5 minute limit. I noticed an employee doing some area cleaning and approached her about the situation. She was amazing! During my interaction with her she mentioned it's not the first time someone has locked themselves out of their car. She was able to let me use the location phone and provided me with a sheet containing major car insurance providers contact numbers. While I was making the call she even gave me a bottled water and a chair to use while I waited form someone to come help. Not only was this one employee helpful, yet other employees were also kind as I waited for AAA Roadside to come to unlock my car. He was trying to pay with his Debit card at first, she said "This card is declined " then my husband paid with Cash, After his car get washed , he checked his account and the amount was charged successfully. Update May 2021: Okay, the problem has not improved, but gotten worse. Yes, the wash is just $6. But it's still supposed to "wash" the car. Here are pictures of just some of the spots/bird stuff left on my hood, after the $6 wash (I'm taking the pictures in the vacuum stall at the car wash; sorry if it's hard to see with the glare). The entire car is left this unclean. The car had been washed two weeks ago; it's not like it has been parked under a bird's nest for the last 3 years. This likely will be my last time here. Bummer. But it's not getting it clean at all anymore. The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is because the staff is always very nice. And I really do not like the vacuums. There's no adjustability on them so they're super strong and then that makes them hard to use because it grab one everything. This is the newest and best car wash in Santee hands down. It's a fully automatic car wash. You get situated in the track and the wash does the rest for you. It even takes you through a dryer which a lot of automatic car washes don't really do. They usually throw you at the end where you have to use your best judgment on how fast is appropriate to drive your car through the blowers. I have never had any issues with employees or the wash itself. Convenient and fast. My dad who lives in Serra Mesa only gets his car washed here when he comes to visit. read more

There are a few different price options for carwashes and knowing that it had been a while since I got a car wash I opted for the $10 wash. The staff member was very friendly and I really liked that there was a mirror when you pull in to make it easy to get your car on the track. The car wash itself was okay. I didn't think the $10.00 price was worth it at all. I would have paid $5.00 for that wash though so I would suggest just paying that price. I just didn't feel like any of the brushes really touched my car much so it didn't get that clean. The vacuums are included in the price of the carwash so you can get that done as well. I can pay 4x as much and go to the other 3 places in Santee I'd I want detail and hand drying but this quick drive through is perfect most of the time. This was my old review: Loved this place. Best $5 car wash. They discontinued the wipes you used to get so you could clean the inside of your car as you drove through the wash. I told the clerk to offer them for sale.
