Today I went through the car wash as I do weekly. They always tape my back wiper for me every single time. This time the person walked back there, but didn't tape it, and as I was going through the car wash, the machine ripped the arm off and broke it. When I asked them who was going to repair this they said too bad so sorry their signs everywhere. Your loss and had a very bad attitude. I explained to them. Why do you tape it every single time if you're not responsible, they said it's at a courtesy only. So if they tape it every single time and you're used to it, then it should be a every time thing!!! I would give it five stars but every company has room for improvement. I was a bit hesitant to go since reading some reviews but I'll say this place was really good. You simply drive up and pay the person in the booth, then someone guides you. You out your car in neutral and let it go, simply enjoy the ride. My daughter watched and enjoyed it a lot, thought it was cool. Afterwards, you head to the vacuums, at least I needed it. I'll tell you what, I forgot my towels :( but am ready for the next time. It did a GREAT job for not washing my car in like a year (I know terrible right?). The vacuums are REALLY loud and scared me but someone already gave that tip here. Just be prepared for it to suck everything. I love how they have vacuums on both sides available so you can clean better. Overall, great job. read more

New car wash in Santee. Pretty solid! When you enter the place, you have to pass the vacuums on your right and drive towards the back. They have a little cashier booth and you tell them what you want. I just needed a quick clean so I went with their "Basic" wash. It was only $5.00. They open up the little gate thing and then a guy comes out to direct you where to steer your car tires to (This car wash is an automated track where you pull your drivers side tires into a track and then it pulls your car along). Once you are in the track, the guy holds up a sign and tells you to put your car into neutral and to not steer or brake. That's about it. Your car goes through and gets cleaned pretty well. At the end of the track, you hit the high powered dryers. When you are done with that there is a sign n front of you that says "Relax" or "Go". When it tells you to go, you best go, son! Take your freshly cleaned car out of neutral and put that sucka into drive. Afterwards, you have the option to vacuum your car and have someone wipe down the excess water drops. I was in a hurry and just needed a quick wash so I boned out afterwards and did not utilize that. I'm sure I will in the future though. All of that for $5.00 is a great deal. The only downer is that it didn't get my ride totally clean. I had a smeared bird shit remnant left over. Nothing too big but fresh out of a wash, your car should be pretty much spotless. I will definitely come back though. Its so inexpensive and you get free vacuuming if you need it. Compared to other places that are usually a minimum $9.99 plus tip for the guys, this place is a great deal! It's pretty fun sitting in your car the whole time too. I had my son with me in the back seat so I didn't have to worry about him etc. Hell...if you are hungry, they are going to have a new Santanas taco shop that is opening soon too right next door. I work for a premium car company, and know what it means to have a clean car. The outside washing it's good. 10$ for a complete outside wash is great. Not a long line and a cheap price tag totally does a 3star for me. However, the vacuum system sucks. I'm sorry but the setup here will get your car nowhere near clean inside. Worst carwash I've ever been too!!! I noticed this place being built a few months ago, so I decided to give it a try on my way home from work...bad idea!! It literally ripped off my rear windshield wiper, the entire arm! It really doesn't matter how good of a wash they give (which honestly wasn't even good since it didn't take any of the 3 bird poops off) if it rips the equipment off your car. I have a 2010 SUV and have been to at least 30 different drive-thru car washes (most multiple times) in different states, most recently a week ago, and never once have had a problem. I drove straight home after going through the car wash and when I went to get my things out of the trunk realized the wiper/arm had been ripped off. I immediately called and asked to speak to the manager, Amanda I believe was her name, and all she could say is we'll look for it and give you a call. For 1) I had to tell her she needed my name and number if she was actually going to call, 2) she never apologized and just stated there was a sign stating they weren't responsible for any damages (which I never saw, but regardless), and 3) she never even bothered calling back. So a mediocre carwash with bad customer service will now cost me $60+. read more

Well, lo and behold this morning we get there at 650a and are excited we are 3rd in line. Get to the cashier and they say, sorry no more free car washes, they ended that like 6 months ago. I like the car wash. The only thing that I do not like is being charge constantly for a service that was cancel. We tried one of their promotions where we paid $9, and the rest of the month was free. My husband cancel the service when they said we were supposed to cancel in order not to get charge full for the next months. We are now in March, and we keep being charge for a service that was cancel in the beginning of December. My husband when there twice and they never offer to reimburse and said that on their part it shows that the service is cancel. I just moved to the area a few months ago and found this car wash. The process is pretty simple you pay, you drive-through, your car gets washed and then you can pull over to the side and vacuum the inside of your car for free. The staff here is really great, they get cars through pretty quickly so even if there is a short wait, you won't have to be there very long. The prices are very reasonable and I will definitely be coming back again. read more

The point of a car wash is that you leave with a clean car. That did not happen today. My car was really dirty from a two week stay at the airport where apparently it rained at least once. When I left the tunnel my car was spotted with droplets all over and it dried with spots all over. There were areas near the wipers and mirrors that were still dirty. The attendant taped my back wiper down with painters tape so when I got home and removed the tape there was a looong dirty stripe. Not worth it. Not going back. read more

Payed for the $11 super wash, which is kind of pricey for a drive through wash. I went through once and there was still bugs and dirt on my car so i tried to go through again. I rolled up and just asked if i could go through since the first time didnt wash it very good. The lady at the register then called over the manager. The manager basically said that the car looks clean to him and that they wouldnt do it. They argued with me for 15 minutes about how my car was clean even though it clearly wasnt. They ended up letting me go through but only after arguing with them. The funny thing is that even the second time didnt wash it very good. I had just gotten back from a trip and had lots of bugs on my grill, the guy was going to let me run my truck through again but first he was going to try and hand wash some of the bugs off, supper nice, however....he scratched my paint around the grill. Saw this car wash being built for awhile and decided to go check it out. My car was in dyer need of a wash, so why not! I was wanting the best wash they offered and saw that it was only $10! SWEET! Pulled up to the track and saw that they have a big mirror up top that you can use to help align your car. I've always loved drive thru car washs and this place is really top notch, really nice place. After the machine tells you it's okay to go, you can pull around and use the vacuums, free of charge! My first time at this facility... I read about the rear wiper problem with some vans and since I had the small wrench for the job I just removed it. I got the $5 option and it seemed to clean my really dirty van very adequately. Then the vacuum was SO strong it lifted the floor mats so I had to stand on them, that was OK since I could do underneath them. The big problem was the vacuum was so strong it pulled a plastic bag through the holes in my center seat organizer. That would be OK but I had placed the 'special' nut that holds the wiper blade on! I got home and found the nut was gone, went back in hope they had some way of filtering out 'heavy' stuff. Sheryl (the nice booth lady) instantly offered to go and look for it! She came back several minutes later and took my name and number in case it turned up. Since Auto Zone was on my way home I dropped in to see if they had something. The nice counter guy took me to the correct hardware display and gave me his best guess. He said take it to your car and see if it's correct! It was very close but slightly coarse pitch. So I went back in and found the correct one. I went back to 5-Star and told Sheryl I found one but, could I get a free wash for my troubles. She said I would get the Deluxe one for sure! I paid for the $10 (top wash) and it didn't even start to remove the bee droppings (little yellow spots) from my car. If I wanted to scrub my car I would have hand washed it myself. By the time I got to the vacuum, the "spot free rinse" had left spots all over my car. I will not return to or recommend this wash. I went to my normal spot and got the wash I was expecting. I love the convenience of just being able to drive through real quick and having a clean sparkling car in less than 5 minutes. Did a good job. Spend the $13 for the deluxe. I was done after about 15 minutes and the car came out pretty clean. The rims still had some break dust that I had to wipe off afterwards. I liked the vacuum bays with vacuums on each side. I think I will try this again next time for the convenience over doing this at home. read more

This idiot of a manager calls me and tells me my windshield was already broken before I went into car wash. I said Ok, where's the video you said u had to help solve this issue. Oh I don't have access to the video. I told him his car wash broke my windshield. I have 2 witnesses. Well there is nothing we can do cause it was already broken he says. I usually get the Basic since I get carwashes frequently it does the job to get the car clean and I like the low price they are. They offer free vacuums which is nice with a five minute limit and they give you a wet towel it to wipe down the inside of your car. Overall the machine wash is pretty efficient and the car wash itself takes less than a minute so it's easy to just get in and get out. The other car wash options are a bit pricey for what they offer and in my opinion and that's why I ended up giving them only four stars instead of five stars. read more
