Went to check out a used 2025 Bronco with 1900 miles that was online. Was trying to decide between a 4Runner and Bronco as my daughter wants a Bronco, but my wife and I prefer a 4Runner for her. Went at 6:30am Saturday morning so I wouldn't be hassled by the salesmen. Entrance was open. They left the doors unlocked on the Bronco. Naturally, I pulled the handle and the door happened to be unlocked. I checked out the build quality and closed it back up. Next thing I know, their security called the WR police department and said I was going in and out of cars. Mind you, I drove there in my newer model Toyota Prius. Security had to have seen all of this. I guess my leather loafers, khaki shorts, Breitling watch, groomed appearance and my coffee mug in hand that I was sipping was suspicious. I'm well connected in this community and have purchased cars from almost all dealerships. I can guarantee I will never purchase another vehicle from Fivestar anything and will share this experience with everyone I know. This is not embarrassing to me and I believe it's important to share the type of experience they deliver. Close your entrance and lock your doors if you don't want people checking out the vehicles on your car lot where you are trying sell cars. If you need pointers, look at the entrance of Hughes Honda while they are closed. It's easy to get their message. read more

Five Star Chevrolet GMC and Five Star Ford of Warner Robins in Warner Robins, Georgia, I want to share my frustrating experience with purchasing a used Ford truck. Before buying, I paid over $200 for a pre-purchase inspection at Five Star Ford, where I was told the truck was 100% good to go with no issues. After the purchase, I noticed oil on the ground beneath the truck. Initially, I thought it could've been from something minor like a filter change, but when I brought it back to Five Star Ford, a technician outright confirmed in front of me that the truck was leaking oil and that this was observed the day of the inspection. Despite this, the oil leak--and apparently other issues--were omitted from the inspection report I paid for. I requested an updated inspection report from the general manager to reflect the oil leak and any other undisclosed problems, but he refused to provide one. It's clear to me that these dealerships worked together to push the sale while failing to document known issues with the truck. While the price was adjusted slightly after I initially mentioned seeing oil, I feel misled and disappointed by the lack of transparency and professionalism from both dealerships. I purchased my 3rd vehicle and 2nd F150 from Five Star Ford Lincoln on Russell Pkwy in Oct 2023. I have always been a fan and loyal customer to them and it's why I traded up to the 2023 F150 Lariat. About 3 months into owning this truck the driver's side window got stuck in the down position. Eventually, after playing with the button I was able to get it back up. At least once a month the window would get stuck and then fix itself. I brought the truck in to be serviced and asked them to look at it. They lubed it up and didn't put it in my maintenance records. Again, this happened numerous times and they would lube it up until about the 5th or 6th time I brought it in, and they said that they could not touch these vehicles anymore and that this is an on-going issue with 2021-2024/5 F150's. In total I have brought the truck in about 10-13 times since I purchased it. There are only maintenance records for 4 or 5 times and sometimes it was labeled "Glass" and other times it was labeled "Other Maintenance" and then other times; they put nothing at all because they were doing an oil change and tire rotation. Sometimes the maintenance guy or girl would fix it right on the spot and nothing would be put in the system. I applied for the "Ford Buy Back Program" only to be denied because all the repair attempts didn't happen within the first 2 years of ownership or first 24k miles whichever came first. I have had the truck for 2 years and 4 months when I made the claim and I hadn't reached 24k miles yet. Now I am stuck with a $78k truck with a faulty window that they know is faulty on some 21-24/5 F150s and they won't even fix it anymore or give me a refund so I can purchase a new truck somewhere else. The fact that they sold me a truck that they knew was faulty and didn't tell me is unacceptable, but to make me stay in the vehicle knowing that they can't fix it and won't try is even worse. Don't shop here and always check your maintenance records. They are crooks. read more

After talking to two sales people, one who was so obviously high that he could only mumble and garble his words and a second who was about as arrogant an a55hole as I have ever encountered, I called the sales manager to advise him to enroll his sales staff in customer service training as soon as possible. And fought further after bringing my trade-in, I signed off on paperwork with lowered price out the door only for them to come back and jacked up the price out of nowhere. After hours of back and forth the final price was done and they just left me hanging there without any updates. They are a scam. All the way down to parts department and that's usually the highlight of any dealership. My rear view camera went out and I replaced it myself because why not. Fast forward a few months later ford issues a recall for the part and when I asked for a refund they said no because my car wasn't affected by the recall. They fed us a line about this car being well-maintained and previously owned by a local auto performance shop owner. We were suckered into believing it was a "Ford Blue Advantage Certified" vehicle, assuring us of a 139-point inspection and a 90-day/4,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty coverage (which, surprise, surprise, turned out to be utterly worthless). As if that wasn't enough, they peddled us another overpriced warranty through Total Warranty Services, probably getting a nice kickback in the process. Fast forward to December 17, 2023, and I'm cruising down the highway in this lemon they sold me when suddenly, the damn thing starts falling apart! No warning lights, no error messages--just a cacophony of grinding metal and the sickening realization that I've been duped. Turns out, the engine was on the brink of self-destruction, courtesy of Five Star Ford's shoddy maintenance and outright negligence. I was greeted by Megan Bliss who basically told me the wait for those on their lot is really long and I'd have a better chance at just building one online since I get customize it to what I want and will only have to pay the MSRP guaranteed. This was awesome news I didn't know you could do this! So I did just that and Megan made sure to stay in contact with me from start to finish. The moment my car arrived she let me know and ensured it was good and clean for me to pick up. I'm giving this rating because I have a few mixed feelings about their service. I drove up because I had some engine problems and they offered to run the codes for me. Turns out they came back in 20 minutes and said it was some transmission problem. A sensor. They had the part and they could do it by 4/430. I called my warranty and they approved it so I left my truck. Hours went by, no phone call. I eventually called them around 4:15. Already had my Uber scheduled to take me to the Ford shop as I just moved in town and had no one to help me out. They answered and apologized. "They knew for a while but they failed to call me" was their excuse. I understand nothing goes as planned. But when I plan my day around what you tell me and there's a change in plans. Let your customers know. So not only did they waste my money, but they also wasted my time as now I'm left without a vehicle or a way to get home. They discovered something else wrong, and they said it was covered by warranty so they were going to fix it! GREAT! They overnighted the part which was awesome! I didn't have to wait 2-3 days for it to come in. On my previous call, they told me that they would have it done by 1200-1300. Never got a phone call that day and I eventually called them around 1300 asking for an update. They answered and said that they didn't know but would call me in an hour to give me an update. Hour and a half later. No call. So I call them back and they said they're still working on it. They said they'd call me back at 1500 with an update. 1530 rolls around and I have to call them yet again. This time they had good news. The truck was about to go on a test drive and I could come pick it up and sign for it at 1600. I show up around 1615/1620 and sat in the waiting room for about half an hour and finally get called to make my payment. My deductible was $100 and when I get up there they said my total was $179.10. (Closest estimate as my actually receipt is stored at home) I was confused and asked what the extra cost was and was told that it was parts and labor that the warranty didn't cover. And I was confused but honesty tired of being in that Ford center so I made the decision to just eat the $80 if that meant I could just go about my day Called the warranty and asked why they didn't pay for all the parts and services, and was told that they cover 100% what Ford sent them. This got me irritated because I was told that it was parts and labor. So I called Ford back. And after being sent to 2 voice mails I finally got a body and explained my problem. He told me he would walk back to services and get an answer and would call me back by COB. Which was in an hour and 15 minutes. Do I need to tell you weather or not I got a phone call. Haha I didn't. Finally called them back this morning and talked to another gentleman and he told me that $79 was a shop fee for rags, gloves and disposable things. He then said he would transfer me to my service technician was put on hold yet again and finally sent to voicemail yet again. There's no excuse for bad customer service or for not being upfront about prices. I understand things happen and the truck has to stay another day. But there's no excuse for waiting until the time you told your customer it would be ready, and having me call and your excuse is we forgot to call you. There's also no excuse for bad communication and always being sent to voicemail. I just hope their work quality is better than their customer service. But hey! They have a 2 year unlimited mile warranty on their parts! (Plus a $79 shop fee can't forget that one again) read more

I brought my 2012 Mustang there for transmission issues. They told me they'd diagnose it within 3-5 days, however they didn't diagnose my car for over a month and a half. When they finally did they first said it was a range sensor. Then they said it could be an internal issue. Then they said they couldn't test drive it because the motor fan went out (when it was working fine prior to dropping my vehicle off with them) then they said no it was a PCM. They charged me $2,000 which I paid when they said the PCM was the last option that could be causing the issues. After over 2 months the vehicle still jumped in and out of gear. They gave up working on it and parked it outside without telling me they gave up on it. All they told me was "yeah the vehicle needs a new transmission" and left me with that. I found out they had numerous vehicles that they haven't touched in months. By far the WORST experience I've ever had from a shop. I don't advise anyone take their vehicles here. To them $2,000 and 2 months equals taking your vehicle somewhere else to get proper work completed. read more

THESE FOLK KEPT MY VEHICLE OVERNIGHT!! I made an appointment to have a used car inspection done on my vehicle in the beginning of the week and they booked me according to their availability. I showed up to my appointment (12pm) and the gentleman responsible for the inspections immediately told me that he wouldn't be able to get it done today because nobody told him about the inspection. ( mind you " five star" booked me for that day and time). I expressed my confusion to the gentleman because I had an appointment and he told me, " ok no worries, I will have it done". 2 pm rolls around and I haven't heard from anyone. I messaged them and they said they are waiting for the car to be looked at. It's now 6pm and I still haven't heard from anyone. I messaged them again and received an automated message saying that they were closed.!! That's right they kept car overnight and didn't call to notify me. This inconvenienced me because I had no way to work the next morning. I picked up my car the next day and the inspection was never accomplished. Then they had the audacity to ask if I wanted it done today and I told them no. Personnel Misty was helpful and expressed her apologies for the inconvenience. This could've been avoided with proper communication from five star. If you're overbooked then don't take on additional customers. read more

Made an online inquiry about a 2022 vehicle. I was emailed a price by the dealership. The next morning Cindy their sales person texted and sent a price $500 higher, with an additional $1200 in fees tacked on top. One of the fees was a perma plate paint protectant already applied to the vehicle. No option but to pay that. It's kind of an old school car dealership tactic that I don't really appreciate. Sales person later sent a $500 coupon to get the price back to their original price sent to me. A nice gesture after a lot of mental anguish. We ended up working the deal out. One associate answered my call with, "Yea, what?" I should have kept his card, so that I could display his name! They would always give me the run-around about a loaner too! Update: After the initial posting of the situation on google, yelp, facebook, and cars.com while tagging the service and general manager we had an update to the car. We were told that it could be a transmission and not likely the clutch even though the technician said it was previously. The vehicle has not been back in the bay to get inspected at all. The service manager said the vehicle would be back in the bay by that evening to get inspected to see exactly what was wrong and that we would have an answer by tuesday the 27th at the latest. They also stated they would reduce their labor rate from approx $200 an hour to approx $120 an hour due to the inconvenience. The inconvenience resulted from the service advisor getting told information from the shop foreman or the technician that wasn't entirely accurate or truthful. On the 26th we received a call stating that it was the clutch and two shift forks. We agreed to pay for that part to get replaced. We received the phone call that the vehicle was ready for pick up late afternoon on the 27th. The service advisor stated what was wrong and informed us the entire clutch was gone and pieces of it were not where they were supposed to be. 1 full clutch spring was found in the transmission case and "1/8" of another was found. When asked if there are any other spring pieces that are now F.O.D. are in the case and would case more damaged, we were told there wasn't any. We will see if that is truly the case, or if part of a clutch migrates and causes further damage. The vehicle drove home fine and felt more responsive due to the new clutch in the transmission. If this was a single bad case then we wouldn't be fully upset. There was lack of adequate communication that resulted this that is from the technician all the way to the customer. On a previous trip to the dealership to purchase new keys and key fobs, the technician programmed the new keys but deprogrammed the old original keys which were with the vehicle. I am glad that this endeavor is completed and I cannot recommend the five star service department to others after this experience. This should be a learning experience to all and hopefully it will improve so others do not run into this issue. To preface this I will update everything once Five Star Ford does what their service advisor's say they will do. Our Ford Focus was towed there May 29th 2023 to get a TCM reprogrammed due to a new one being installed. We installed a new one due to the old one going out and not shifting gears like it is supposed to (common issue with the 2012 Ford Focus). We picked the vehicle up on June 1st and was told it was reprogrammed, shifted like it should, access to all gears, but it had a shudder that resulted in a test, and would need a clutch at some point in the future. On the drive home (about 10 miles) the transmission started slipping and lost all gears except for first. We returned the vehicle to Five Star to get the clutch, reprogram the tcm, or anything they could find wrong that wasn't found the first time in the service department. On that day we were told the parts would not be an issue and they could order them. They also advised we bring the old TCU in to verify programming, this part is with them resulting in a $300 core charge that we are unable to collect back from the part store. On approx 12 June we checked on the status(in person) and was told it would be done by the end of the week. The date came and went and nothing has changed. On June 19th we went in person to check on the status of the car and noticed it had not moved from the initial parking spot. That day the service advisor "talked" to the service tech and told us that it would be in the bay that evening or first thing in the morning and done by Tuesday June 20th. My wife called this morning to inquire about the vehicle but was told a service advisor would call her back. She did not receive any call back so I went to the dealership in person to see what the issue was. The car is no longer in the original spot but out back in the fenced-in section near the road that goes between the dealership and Planet Fitness. There is no record on the ticket of any work being accomplished on it and no parts ordered against the ticket. The only service advisor working asked me to give him until tomorrow to get an answer due to managers and above being in a meeting. To say the least I am extremely disappointed in the workmanship that has transpired in this ordeal. The service advisor's are nice and professional but either they are lying to us on when everything will get done or the service techs are lying to the service advisors on the customer's vehicles. This is unacceptable. I will go back up there tomorrow at lunch to find details about this and will sit in their waiting rooms until this vehicle is done when they say it will be done. read more

Purchased a 2014 f150 eco boost 6/15/18. Noticed a misfire during the test drive. Service department said they replaced plugs and coils and fixed the situation. Coming back from a family vacation to Disney 11/22/18 the truck began to present the same problems. Almost stranding me and my family. I returned to the service department today 11/24/18 to have them run diagnostics. They informed me that only one plug and one coil was changed at the time of purchase, quoted me $800 to change the plugs, when I declined they charged me $160 for running diagnostics. I purchased a car from these guys about 3 months now they lied to me they took advantage my wife and I was looking for a vehicle of this type and we searched on the internet and found one which was out of town it had no pictures of the vehicle but the year make and model it had and that was the type of car we wanted we were recently in an accident and we only had so much time to find a vehicle bc insurance wasn't gonna keep paying for the rental so we had to find a car asap these guys called me and said they had just gotten the car in so they wanted us to come by to see it I asked for photos and they sent them we where in Atlanta coming down from Atlanta so we decided to stop bye they said that we can make the deal today but I asked have the car been checked they said yes from bumper to bumper so we came back the next day and they showed me car fax paperwork and said it had a 3 year warranty on it and and a 60 days warranty with them so we made the deal so shortly after we had to put the car in the shop for it overheating it wasn't a full 60 days the car started giving us issues I called and explained to them and the guy that sold me the car had Quit his job so I talked to the used car manager at the time so he told me that he would be willing to pay for it as long as I took it to another 5 star dealership bc I stay 2 hours away so we did but the dealership had a wait like 10 days before they could even look at the car but the guy spoke with the manager at the other five star and gave him the ok to check the car out and told them when they found out what's wrong to let him know but when they found out they was informed that he had quit like a couple of days ago so I tried to call back up there and ask what was going on everybody was acting like they don't know nothing about it and I was told they would call me back to resolve the issue but no one never called me I called thousands of times and left numerous of messages even left the general manager a message no one ever returned my call bc the guys told them that it was a cracked head and they didn't want to pay for it even though 60 days wasn't up they stoped answering there calls they did want to pay for the diagnostic fee until that day I called up there and gave them someone else name and they hoped on the phone that's said they would do that but they did I told them that all those times I been calling and know one would come to the phone but as soon as I used some one else name they picked up I told them that they could at least have the decent to pay for the diagnostic fee my car was in the shop for a whole month and didn't get fixed now I'm trying to trade it in bc I can't afford to get it fixed and I only had the car for 3 months before it started giving me issues so take my advice don't deal with these guys they are crooks and liars read more

"Great day at the service department/ car dealership!" It's likely you, like me previously, have not had this as your review following a trip to have your vehicle serviced. I decided to take in my car this morning. I thought the service department opened at 7:30, I arrived soon after to find a mainly stranded parking area and a sign stating they opened at 8:00. Apparently, I arrived right on time!! Alvin was kind & welcoming, offering coffee & the remote control as the technicians had not yet arrived. Soon after 0800, he took the keys and the information he needed to get the car serviced. After a cup of coffee and a 30 minute show, the work was complete and Andy called to check the car out. Now, when I need to take a vehicle in, I'll think, "Time for a service!" Kind advice to others: plan for an early arrival, and great friendly service. I had the chance to go with my son Brett and his wife truck hunting. We live in McDonough but traveled to Warner Robins. He had seen a truck online there. As soon as we pulled up, Todd came to greet us immediately. Turns out they had two trucks he wanted to see. Within 7 minutes, Todd had both trucks pulled out and ready for my son to drive. We were there maybe a little over an hour. Deal was done and since he used his own financing we took delivery of the truck on Tuesday. Between my husband and his father and siblings, they have over 125 years of service at the Once Atlanta Assembly Plant, so we are Ford ride or die! There are four dealerships within 25 miles of my house. I would drive the 1-1/2 hours back to Warner Robins to buy there. Just an amazing experience and delivered everything they promised. Exceptional purchase and service experience! From the platform director, Patrick Hoye to the salesperson, Tom Hicks, to the service department including Ken Avera and Tommy Lemire, I can't say enough good things about my experience at Five Star Ford Lincoln. I had purchased a very expensive Range Rover at an Atlanta dealership a few months before purchasing a much more affordable Ford at Five Star and while I would think the Land Rover dealership would provide a much better customer service experience due to the price of the product alone, that couldn't be further from the truth. Respect for my time, kindness, honesty and professionalism describes everyone I've worked with at Five Star in both sales and service and I have difficulty coming up with enough complimentary words to describe what an excellent experience I've had at this dealership. I have also purchased at the Ford dealership in Macon, which was okay, not bad in any way, but just alright. I am willing to drive 30 minutes further from where I live to purchase and service any Ford I own at Five Star rather than the Macon dealership which is much closer to where I live and therefore more convenient. If I am able to enjoy such an exceptional customer service experience it's worth the time and energy to go further! I highly recommend Five Star Ford Lincoln in Warner Robins and look forward to purchasing and servicing more vehicles in the future at their dealership. read more

Update..2016 Bought a new F-150 (2015 year Model), had it serviced regularly up until I traded it in. Unfortunately the service department was not so good and wanted to charge me for problems that were covered under warranty, I had to go through corporate to get my money refunded from the service department and I traded the F-150 it in on a Tacoma. I would not buy a ford again...to many issues with the 2.7 engine, transmission and I hear the new service manager was better than the one I dealt with. read more

Called about a vehicle listed online, was told there was a deposit on the vehicle and they would call if deal fell through. Two days later, I called to inquire about the truck as it was still listed on website. Told again there was a deposit and would call if it fell through. Actually called me back and told me the deal fell through that it was mine if I wanted it. I confirmed that I still wanted the truck, told the dealer when I would be there and drove 1.5 hours to purchase truck, only to arrive and be told by the manager that someone else showed an hour before me and they were finishing the paperwork. Then the dealer tried to lie to me and say they had only been there 10 minutes. Can't test drive and get through financing in 10 minutes buddy, nice try. Shady business, could've called me and not let me get all the way to the dealership. Wouldn't do business with them now if they were the last dealership on Earth. read more

I turned down 2 other dealerships including Woody Folsom ford and J.C. Lewis ford to bring my trade here because we found the car we wanted at what I thought was a good price. 1st mistake, do not buy a car on the day the banks are closed *we purchased on new years day* They offered us 6k for a 16 ford fusion se awd starting that was the offer because it needed tires when I was offered 9k at jc Lewis. (We owed 17k on the vehicle with 74k miles on it)They did some "working" and got us a better deal at a payment we agreed on. Then we get to finance and the finance manager claims an extended warrenty is a must! I bought an extended warrenty on my 2019 f250 because it's a 6.2l and parts such as axles and 4x4 stuff is expensive but this is a 4 cylinder ecoboost. The most expensive part on it is the turbo. Then he proceeds to tell my fiance *since the car is for her* that an ac system could cost $3,400!? I'm shaking my head. I'm a certified diesel mechanic and it's not even that expensive unless your up charging parts and labor. After arguing with him for about half an hour we finally agree on a price that's still outside what we initially agreed on. But here is the best part. They guessed the payoff on our car at 16.9k because the bank was closed. I told the finance manager we would like to wait till the next business day to ensure the payoff was correct but no, he insisted that we do it right then and there since they already detailed the car, filled it up, and printed the temp tag. So after another 15 minutes of getting no where with him we agree. Now guess what? The payoff was in fact more than what they guessed. 245 dollars more. Guess who has to pay that on top of the down payment we just made! Us! Would never had bought the car had we known. Really want out old car back and destroy the paperwork but to late now. Wont be doing business here ever again. Oh and we were there for 6.5 hours through the whole affair. read more

Tim helped us have the greatest experience with buying cars. He was very professional, helpful, and efficient. He knows to provide the best customer service by following up frequently. Besides the sales experience, the team at Five Star Ford Lincoln are all friendly. They greet you at all times regardless if you work with them or not. Overall decent buying experience at 5 Star Ford. I bought a 2011 Toyota Tacoma on 4/25/2015 from Tim Denton. Tim is a phenomenal salesman! He provided great communication with texts, emails, phone calls, & videos of the truck before I purchased it. As far as the dealership is concerned, cordial and polite for the most part. The reason for the 4 star rating is due to the $899 administrative fee that this dealership applies to all vehicles sold whether they are new or used. I think this is highly outrageous!!! Most dealerships charge around $500 but $899??? C'Mon Man! So if nothing else, they will make $899 off of every customer who buys a vehicle from them. Just keep that in mind if you buy from 5 Star in Warner Robins, GA. read more
