We live about 100+ miles from Aberdeen as I'm sure most of the clientele does. we were very interested in a car based on AutoTrader listing and called for details. We were very specific in asking for condition and any and all body and interior blemishes as we purchased a 2011 used SUV. Not all of the damage was disclosed over the phone and we were not delighted by the vehicle once we arrived. For a minute there, we had a pretty bad taste in our mouths about the experience. We talked to both sales and management about the details of our dissatisfaction. They were accommodating and adjusted the price instead of offering to fix the damage. Eventually we came to an agreement and left feeling mostly satisfied about the deal. We love the SUV so far. Mark and the staff at Five Star Toyota went out of their way to get the vehicle I wanted. Mark was quite patient while I made all the last minute decisions for the 2016 4Runner I have always wanted. He was always available to answer questions or call me back as soon as he researched the answer. I live in the Seattle area where there are many dealerships to choose from but none had the price, kindness and personal attention that Mark offered. A sales person at the dealership in Tacoma let me know that if I was going to shop for price, he wasn't interested in working with me. That turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I saved thousands by working with Mark and Five Star. OK....these guys are GREAT! I went in to have some recall work done on my 2004 Toyota Corolla. It took a little longer to get parts for recall work so they arranged a car for me to drive while recall repairs were being made. Long story short, I got 'new car fever' after driving a brand new car while repairs were being made. So, I ended up buying a 2016 Toyota Camry after they let me take one on an overnight test drive! I worked with Mike, Mark & Allen in the sales department and I loved the 'no-pressure' sales approach. I wanted a few extras added on my new car and Allen arranged for me to drive another Camry while upgrades were being made to my new car. These guys really know how to take care of their customers at Five Star! BTW...I am a Costco member and Five Star beat out the Costco pricing on my new car!!! Couldn't be happier with the performance of five star Toyota scion service Dept in Aberdeen. They went above and beyond for my daughter. Her Scion tC was having a oil consumption problem which was a warrantee issue with scion, anyone familiar with this issue will know that it has been taking some people months to get the parts let alone get there car done and what a hassle this can be!!! My fiance and I did a TON of research looking to buy our new car. We searched the entire PNW, basically, for a gently used Subaru Crosstrek. They happened to have one, and based on our research, we knew it was a good deal. We spoke to Tyler on the phone who was great. He worked with us a bit on price, as we wanted to drive down from Olympia and get the car that day. When we arrived, our salesman was John, who was SUPER not pushy...which we loved. Car shopping gets exhausting when someone is constantly selling you, and I think it was clear we were well-researched. So, he sat back, answered questions we had, and didn't push us too hard. That said, it did feel like he had our best interests at heart. He was honest, let us test drive, and we just enjoyed our time with him. He provided reports of previous owner, previous work done on the car, and existing warranties when we asked. Granted, we were very informed buyers--so we knew they were giving us an actual fair deal. But what I loved was their friendly nature, and their ability to laugh with us (seriously, it was kind of fun). You can tell they like what they do and they like each other, which made the process more exciting. Great staff and service at this dealership. I just bought a used truck and they had a good price on the truck, the lowest I had been able to find looking around. Everyone there is polite, relaxed, and has a no pressure attitude which I like. I test drove the vehicle and returned a couple days later to purchase it. They had all the paperwork ready to go when I arrived. I signed and was ready to go in less than 15 minutes which was great. They also had the truck fully detailed before I arrived. My experience with this car dealership was absolutley amazing! reason being we had a great salesperson Tyler Griffin. It was my first time buying a car and i couldnt of been happier it was nothing like some people make it out to be. it was easy fast and he helped me get into a car that i didnt even think was possible. Even after the deal was done and i arrived home i realized the finance manager had forgotten to take our down payment from us i called tyler right away and he went out of his way to drive to my home and come pick the payment up so i wouldnt have to go back to the dealership. $84 for an oil change is Outrageous, but guess they need to recover some of the expenses for that new building. When I questioned some of the charges, they offered to put a $25 coupon on it and explained that they now use a better oil. I still don't understand how an oil change can cost $51.55 in parts and another $32.97 in labor and mechanical. Glad there are other options in Milledgeville like Express Tire and Wal-Mart. Five Star Toyota won't see my little Prius back in their service department ever again! read more

First things first. I live in Bellevue, just a couple of miles from those no-talent clowns at Michael's Toyota in Bellevue. I really wanted to buy my wife's new Highlander XLE from Michael's...so convenient, but they couldn't handle simple customer service. Left my wife and kids standing out in the lot for 10+ minutes in the rain, waiting for someone to bring around a test drive car. Then in discussing pricing with them, they immediately fell into the classic 'salesman needs to check with the manager' routine back-and-forth...pure unadulterated nonsense. Now for the wonderful experience I had with the folks at Five Star Toyota! The only single bad thing is that they are 119 miles one way from our home in Bellevue...but TOTALLY worth the trip! I H A T E buying cars...particularly from dealers, but this was one truly different experience. First, the salesman worked with us over the phone for a couple of weeks and jumped through some hoops to get the exact car my wife wanted. Yea - happy wife! Next, upon arriving in Aberdeen, we met with the salesman and within minutes of sitting down in the lobby, the sales manager came over, introduced himself and we cut through all the B.S. and he and I talked price. Came to consensus within minutes - I got a fantastic deal, couldn't be happier and absolutely NO run-around. Save a TON over the 'best' price that Michael's was willing to do and everyone - to a person - was so nice and pleasant to spend some time around while taking care of business. No one seemed fake or forced, just good down-to-earth guys who obviously value their customers and appreciate them. Observing the interactions with the other customers held true to my experience - everyone seemed to be happy and satisfied with their experience and time with the staff. No snake-oil salesmen or sneaky underhanded suspicious weasels here...just solid salt-of-the-earth people. I know, it sounds like I'm exaggerating, but I'm not. I'm just so surprised and pleased that a generally unpleasant experience like buying your wife a new car was made so mush better than I could have hoped for. Oh yeah, the reason I went to Five Star (really, they should change the name to 10 star...five just doesn't seem like enough stars), is my buddy bought a new 4Runner from them a couple of months back and he had an identically great experience with them. I saved a ton...(after all, if I can save a ton of cash, they can treat me anyway they want)...had a decent time doing it (would certainly have preferred a round of golf over spending time in a dealership, but all things considered, it wasn't bad)...and made the wife happy with a new car (again, yea!). These guys appreciate the business...after all, it takes little to no effort for someone in Bellevue to simply default to buying from Michael's. I'm here to tell you...don't do it. Take the little bit of extra drive time, go visit the lads at Five Star. You'll save more money (up-front and in taxes), you will not feel like you need to take a shower after dealing with them (super-nice dudes) and you can join me in still taking your new Toyota to Michael's for service/maintenance and feeling the satisfaction that those clowns didn't get your sale but still have to kowtow to you as a Toyota customer! Nothing better... Forget the rest, deal with the best...go immediately to Five Star, tell 'em I sent you, pass Go and collect $200. Game over. read more

I will start off by saying that my salesman Gary Gallinger went out of his way to help me buy my new vehicle and Shawn Lock did an amazing job to teach me how to use my electronics. My complaint stems with manager, Allen Erickson. I bought my vehicle December 08 2017 (very late Friday night)when there was a promotion of when you trade in your old car you will receive a XBOX One system. I was told upon signing that I wasn't going to be receiving a XBOX One system because I got such a great deal on my new vehicle. (They matched another dealerships price..kind of). This was the 1st time anybody had mentioned this to me. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! When I spoke Allen the following Monday and complained about the situation and losing a good customer over a XBOX system, he agreed and said that he would give me the XBOX.....AFTER, and only after I completed and he received a perfect survey from Five Star and a perfect survey from Toyota. I was forced to agree to this in order to receive a XBOX that was rightfully already mine and was going to be a Christmas gift to my husband. I email Allen twice telling him that I had completed the surveys....no reply....I called 3 different times...no returned calls. I eventually got my XBOX after Christmas. Needless to say....very, very, very disappointed in Five Star and this will not be my last review. read more
