Quite literally the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Leann Chin was the winner of this prize until now. This is the level of execution that creates a need for YELP to add a ZERO STAR Rating for honesty. Don't get "chicken" from here, don't get "beef" from here, don't get any traditional American (battered and fried, IE lemon chicken, orange chicken, etc.) from here! DEFINITELY DO NOT GET EGG DROP SOUP from here. Fried rice is bland with no additions. Sauces all taste the same with different levels of sugar added. Veggies (the few we got) were so over cooked in sauce they were not edible. The only thing you can eat from here is the white rice and for the price of the meal.. buy yourself a nice rice cooker, some chicken and veg, sugar soy garlic and rice and do it right... it would be cheaper... AND FASTER for that matter. SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE LEVEL OF RESTAURANT THAT ACTUALLY GETS BUSINESS ENOUGH TO STAY OPEN (coming from a 23 years restaurant vet) UPDATE: Thought we would try the fortune cookies as everyone is still hungry... THEY ARE STALE!! I have never encountered a stale fortune cookie in 38 years of life. This is the perfect description of the entire meal ( see picture).

Orange Chicken - after a few bites. Still a TON left.

Aptly named! Took my family here for the first time tonight (husband, three kids). The kids were skeptical because it wasn't their usual place. It was very quiet, the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered two starters and two dinners. Food was a little slower to come out, but it was obvious that was because it was just made. Pot stickers were so good! Nice and big with a great filling. The portions for dinners were huge - the three kids (8, 6, and 3) were able to split one. The sauces were wonderful, not shockingly sweet like some. We will be back soon!-

walking into the restaurant it smelled rather moldy. But you can see the kitchen in the back and it looked clean and I was feeling lazy and didn't want to go to another place. The food was extremely well priced paying around eight dollars for an entrée, The service was quite prompt and we received our food 15 minutes after ordering. Ordering takeout, after arriving home the food who is fairly hot. Extremely hungry I dove into the chicken and was met with disappointment and sorrow. The lack of flavor brought me to this result of agony and hunger the chicken might taste good if I was blackout drunk and would not remember in the morning but I am not I am quite sober and quite disappointed. In the egg roll it looked like there was raw meat in it on top of that or I am just confused of what the hell I just took a big bite out of in hope something would taste good. The rice was beautifully done but then again it takes talent to mess up rice. I do not know how this restaurant has so many good reviews. I think the employees were paid to write good yelp reviews for it or something along those lines. I am just hungryyyyyy and want to eat food but I can't even eat this it's so gross!!!!

Steamed chicken and vegetables (sauce is served on the side so not pictured)

My favorite is the steamed vegetables and chicken. Chicken is always very tender and the veggies are never over-done. Other items we've had that we have liked are beef and broccoli, chicken fried rice, beef lo mein and General Tso's chicken. Never had a bad order from 5 Star! Take away orders usually are ready in 15 min or so.

General tso's chicken. Try to get a photo of the other food, but it all got eaten too fast!. Next time...

Came here in a date night with my boyfriend and this place is living up to the reviews!!…read more There is a small parking lot on the side of the building. It appears that during the summer they do have patio seating! This place has a fair amount of seating inside, major plus!! The decor was cute with the hanging umbrellas!! Everyone that we encountered was very sweet! They are also fast paced here, so it may be good to look at the menu before you go! Our food was DELICIOUS!! The spring rolls were so fresh and the peanut sauce that came with was sweet! A perfect pairing! I got the number 48 (the name of the actual dish is escaping me) and my boyfriend got the pad Thai with chicken! Both had incredible flavor! To end the meal, we got the mango sticky rice and holy YUM!! Don't miss out on that! A great way to end the meal! This place was delicious!! Definitely go support them!!

Cream cheese wontons - ok If I had realized that the Beef Salad and the Seafood Salad were basically the same thing just different protein I would have just chosen one. That choice would be the Seafood Salad. I like the thin rice noodles and there was a good amount of seafood in it. Pad Lawn as my favorite from what we ordered. Yummy warm broccoli, with cabbage, and other veggies. We chose mock duck as our protein and it came with nice big chunks. The papaya salad was really good and I'd get that again. If you are ordering from their website, I'd recommend checking out the menu inside of the restaurant or looking at the menu photos on Yelp because I saw some things that I would have loved to try but they weren't on the online ordering menu so perhaps next time we will just eat there or order inside so we can check out the physical menu. Will be back again in the future for sure!!

I asked the checkout lady at TJ Max in cottage Grove if she had ever tried Lisu's Thai? She said…read moreher family orders take out often so I decided to have lunch there. Unfortunately the pork egg rolls were not cooked enough. The whole wrap was soggy and mushy, and the filling wasn't really hot. I didn't eat them. I ordered the vegetable fried rice because the gentleman taking my order recommended that over the basil fried rice because I didn't want any meat. He said I would get more vegetables. I had big long stringy pieces of basil within the rice, but there were very little vegetables. The vegetables they add were pre-cut frozen carrots and broccoli. I asked for a level three spice. It did have a nice kick to it. The dining area was clean and the service was very friendly.

No real menu, just pics on the wall and a printed piece of paper, tri-folded. They offer lunch pricing for certain things before 2pm but you must ask for the lunch price. I saw two people order pad Thai, both got the same sized serving but one was the lunch price of $11, the other was $16. I had the basil chicken and added veggies. Level 3 on the spice. It was fine, nothing spectacular. With the addition of the veggies and a sprite, I spent $16. There was very little chicken in the dish (see pic), not worth the price. The lunch special isn't served with anything extra (egg roll, soup, etc), just rice. All in all, I'd go back if I'm in the area, but wouldn't make a special trip.
