The phone did not work after the screen was allegedly repaired. It was broken again 3 days later. It took over month to get the replacement part, because, among other things, the company said the new part was STOLEN and then that Fed Ex was late etc. Today, the owner initially said when I called that the part was still not in after 5 weeks, and I said I wanted the refund the tech had promised me when the part was still not in after 3 weeks. The owner started screaming at me and claiming, falsely, that he had called me 5 times to tell me the part was in. He was screaming he never gives refunds. When I initially took my phone to be repaired be told no can't fix it . Ok Went to the internet and connected a business downtown took it there paid up front 140. for repair. When I received the call to pick up it was at the 2828 university location I had no idea it was the same business that told me they could not fix it(?) I would not suggest you take your iPhone to this company to be repaired because they seem to disable functions that only the iPhone company can fix once damaged by the installer. I brought my phone in to have Chino(the owner)replace a battery and fix my screen. He said yes no problem and it was an iPhone and he said I can fix it no problem, so I got the phone back and when I went to use my face ID it would no longer function.Then I found this on the Internet showing that this is the example of what happens when you take it to a non Apple store, so just a heads up on this company. Also my apple insurance would not cover this repair because I took it to a third party. Even though all Apple stores are closed in San Diego. It is sad that Apple has done this during Covid and not cover my phone. but what's worse is the the company who replaced it damaged it because they do not know how to repair Apple Products! Then the story changed to "the technician I have told me he was there until 6:30". Looks like the employees lied to the owner about his work hours. Regardless, even if the tech stayed until 6:30 the store hours state 7 so .... thanks for wasting my time driving to your location and trying to find street parking.
