It's a Friday afternoon, trying to leave work, and then it appears that my cell phone takes a dump. Nothing on the screen. Nothing. After a long drive praying to the tech gods and right before going home, I walk up to Fix 4 Less for the first time ever. All it took was a simple removal and replacement of the battery by the friendly technician that assisted me to reset the phone. Despite the fact that I offered to pay for his time and assistance, he neglected any monetary compensation and wished me all the best. Although this may not be considered a legitimate review since there was no financial exchange for technical services rendered (a lesson on common sense & trouble-shooting for sure) I still feel compelled to give credit where credit is due. If we had more compassion and professional courtesy going around instead of people taking advantage of others, this world would be a much better place. I found this business on yelp and decided to try it out since I needed to fix my iPhone 7 screen. I called in for a price quote. I was told over the phone that it would be $70 unless the LCD needed to be fixed, then it would be $90. I walked in and the young man at the counter told me it would be $90 since the LCD did not need to fixed. That was my first red flag I ignored. I explained to him what I was told over the phone and he said that was fine. Since I was in a rush, I went forward with using their services. He told me he would have it completed in 20 minutes. When I returned after 40 minutes, he was helping another customer and told me the phone was fixed. I paid the $70 in cash, walked out and before I crossed the street, my husband noticed the screen was lifted from the phone. I returned and showed him. He apologized and said he tried to fix that, but was unable to. He allowed us to leave their business with a phone that was not fixed. He told me he would call the owner to come fix it. I left and came back since he said it would be ten minutes. When we got back, the young man at the counter said the owner would be back in 3 minutes and would give us two tempered glass protectors for each of our phones for the wait. At this point, we felt better since at least they were working on compensating us for our trouble and wait. That is a sign of good customer service. The owner arrived and greeted everyone in the store. He said the phone is fixed after 3 minutes. We went to the counter and the young man grabbed two tempered glass protectors and the owner said something to him in the language other than English. He put the other screen protector back. I told him I did not need that one, but for my other phone which is an XR. (I was inquiring about the screen protectors for our XRs earlier with the younger man which is why I understood he was offering those to us). I also mentioned that he said we would get two screen protectors. The owner said he could not give us two, but that he could give me a "discount" on one for the XR at $20. The young man then said he did not tell me he would give us two and that he said only one. All in all, this is not a trustworthy business and the tech lacks basic skills. They are not interested in making things right with their customers if they are at fault. They are willing to allow a customer to leave with a phone that isn't fixed which is the very basic expectation of a business- that they do what they say they will. Utterly poor service. I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

Went in for a screen replacement and I think he thought I wouldn't have noticed( as he was rushing me out) the extremely bad screen quality, (and the corner popping up) good thing I wore my glasses. When I confronted him about the issue he stated that the higher quality screen would be more expensive, I was unaware that I came in for a Screen replacement, not a screen change! Gosh...I wish I could give a better review... They did see me on a last minute type of thing. I give them that. They did charge me about $60 less then their competitors...but I was given the impression that when they repaired the back of my Apple phone's shattered glass with a "different color" ( because they did not have my original color at that time) that they would have also changed the small frame around my phone as well. Their competitor said that was how they would repair my phone. Fix 4 Less repaired the glass but gave me my phone back two different colors. It was HIDEOUS!! I told the guy who repaired it that I was under the impression the small frame would have been changed to the same color as the back of my phone (since they did not carry my original color at that time). Maybe mis-communication... I paid a little more for him to order the color of my original phone, since having my phone with two different colors is not what I signed up for. So, I pay a little extra, and go a day or two (don't remember) without my phone. They finish "fixing" my phone with the same color...but they send it back to me having ruining my facial recognition (they broke it). They had the nerve to tell me, whether they broke it or not...they would take responsibility for it. I assured them they indeed broke it. I had no issue with it at all. They still took my funds and said they would provide me with a new "refurbished" phone once I finish paying off my Apple phone and turn it into them. Actually, they didn't tell me it was a new "refurbished" phone. They told me they would give me a "new" phone after I turned in my Apple iphone Xr that a bought new. They confirmed that they were referring to a new "refurbished" phone AFTER I emphasized it. Not only that. They left small indentations almost all around the back of my phone where they removed the back frame. A few months after this "repair" my phone is now malfunctioning. Related? I wouldn't be surprised. Sorry, but this was such a bad experience that I wish I would have paid $60 more to have it done right the first time. I will not go to them for a new "refurbished" phone...I feel I took a loss going to them. Maybe you wont have a bad experience like me. I'm not discouraging you from going there...they just left a bad taste in my mouth...so much so, that I took time to write this review. And I don't like giving bad reviews.
