I am really lucky to fix my car here. I had a bad accident at the trunk that requires to change the whole structure and bumper. Not to mention that the shop is Tesla certified. When I saw the high stars review, I feel that I should go with them as my yelp peers had screened them for me. Eileen and Corina, the front desk, they were very helpful to make sure I meet my schedule, both dropping off and picking up the car. I was traveling during the fixing time and they were able to hold the car for a while for me to get back, and they also able to help me return the rent car from Hertz the next day, next door, as it was closed that time. To me, these little things what make the shop and the people who work there deserve these stars. Daniel, the vehicle damage inspector, is such a genius, nice, and caring guy. Excellent !!! I came in to Fix Auto El Monte for a small repair on my front bumper. The damages ended up being very minor and the manager gave me the courtesy of not charging me anything at all!! I would love to come back for other repairs in the future and will definitely need a good place I can trust. Based on the high reviews and because it's a Tesla recommended shop I took my car in to get an estimate after someone rear ended me. Took the car in for an estimate. The shop said they would send over estimate to adjuster. More than 2 weeks passed and no estimate sent over to me or adjuster. I started calling and leaving messages no one would call me back. Finally got a hold of someone. She then told me the adjuster doesn't have estimate ready because the pictures he took on his phone "got corrupted" and can't upload them to the system. Sounds like the biggest lie and excuse for not doing his job since the beginning. So now I have to take photos and send to them and wait more time. And if I would have never called and chased them down I would still be waiting for a call back. In such a busy world we live in already and with the inconvenience of an accident the last thing you want is a repair shop wasting your time. read more

Let me start this review by saying I was in a unique circumstance. My car didn't need any body work but apparently a stray kitten crawled up between the bumper and engine and unfortunately died. We didn't notice until a smell and I called every local mechanic and car wash and they were not willing to help me. I didn't know what to do and being 7 months pregnant it's not like I can go under my car and do anything. The last mechanic suggested to try a body shop. So that's what I did. This was the first one I called because it was local and they seemed to have great reviews. I called and spoke to Denise, explained my situation in which she spoke to the manager David. They said to come in and they were willing to check it out and give me an estimate OMG! Willing to at least look at it?! I was so grateful because all who could, wouldn't. I drove my car there and was seen and thank the stars above they were willing to take out the animal. Robert was my worker and he went above and beyond and pressure washed the area and explained what might have happened. Corina also was there and showed me the car and just the customer service was too notch. A body shop was willing to help me even though there was no damage to my car. They also helped an expecting mother when no other place was willing to at least view the car. I can't never thank them enough to help me and they have a customer for life and would 100% recommend them on the customer service alone. read more

I had a great experience with Fix Auto Downtown El Monte. From the start, they were super helpful and clear with communication. My model x was rear ended and needed the whole backside to be replaced. I knew going in that dealing with Tesla insurance and the repairs were going to be very slow going. I took my car in and they ordered the parts right away to help speed up the process. It was in the shop for about 2 weeks. Having a Hertz so close by was also convenient for the rental. The office communicated via text and they use carwise.com letting you know when they've started the work. All staff I encountered like Eileen were friendly and responsive. They were very helpful working with me and my insurance company for the repairs. They always contacted me for updates and updates on my insurance if anything went wrong. This was my first time taking my car for a repair with insurance. I didn't know how anything worked, so naturally I was concerned about getting taken advantage of. The employees at Fix Auto El Monte were very helpful and friendly and answered all of my questions. This was the best option for me as they are Subaru certified and work with my insurance provider, State Farm. It seemed random to go so far but was absolutely worth the commute from South LA. They handled everything with insurance and even negotiated for me to get a new door when insurance had only approved a used one. The repairs have a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. They also paid for my Lyft to and from the shop. They washed and detailed my car and even found a gold earring I had lost in there over a year ago. Wow!
