I really appreciated how patient and transparent he was in explaining the differences. Even though the mix-up was entirely my mistake, he graciously honored his original price quote. That level of honesty, integrity, and customer service is hard to find these days. Each interaction he was incredibly responsive, punctual, and had me taken care of faster than I expected. It's so great finding consistently excellent work. The quality of his repairs is outstanding, and you can tell he genuinely takes pride in what he does. He's honest, professional, and makes the entire process easy and stress-free. He even helped me call in my windshield repair to insurance which was great because insurance always confuses me. As an added bonus, my kids absolutely loved meeting JD's dog, Oreo! Oreo was so sweet and friendly that my kids are still talking about him. Before giving the details of my visit, I'd like to provide 1 paragraph of context first. In October of last year, I purchased a 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy. Four days later, I got a crack over the A-pillar of my windshield that spread and required a new windshield. Because the vehicle was so new, I could only replace the windshield at Hyundai. It took me 6 weeks, more than 40 phone calls and 3 in-person visits to 4 Hyundai dealers to get it replaced. The part WAS available, but Hyundai's service departments no longer answer their phones with people. It was a horrible, frustrating experience. So when I got a ship in the replacement windshield less than 7 months later, I was terrified of needing to go back to Hyundai. I immediately called a few glass shops about crack repairs. I didn't mention I had insurance, because I wanted to see who would be the fairest priced. Sam offered me both the best price, and the best response over the phone "I'll try to save your windshield." The chip was not in a great location (just over the dashboard) and the crack had already begun to spread, so it was a tough repair. When I arrived, Sam took time to explain the process to me, as well as any possible risks. He didn't obligate me to proceed, he gave me the option to do so with full disclosure. He mentioned that some people don't like this approach - they would prefer to just be told "everything will be OK." I understand that, but I will say that personally I MUCH prefer being given the accurate information and then having the opportunity to make my own decision with no pressure. Obviously, I proceeded with the repair despite the risks, since NOT doing the repair would have just guaranteed that I needed a replacement. When the repair was complete, it looked great. The crack was barely visible (an unexpected but happy outcome for me), and it has now held for over a week of driving. It is clear to me that Sam takes pride in performing great service, at a fair price, to fully informed customers. I don't know what more you could ever ask for!

My husband told me on the day of installation, they were punctual, efficient and completed the window replacements on time. We got Simonton laminated double paned windows, and although they haven't blocked out as much sound as I hoped, they actually help a good deal with lowering hot temperatures in that room in the summer. I had such a great experience with Fixed Auto after a truck backed into my car. From start to finish, everyone was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. Raul, the technician assigned to my car, kept me updated throughout the entire process, which I really appreciated. Laurie in the office was amazing--super friendly, organized, and on top of everything. She made communication seamless, not just with me but also coordinating with Enterprise for my rental, which made the whole situation so much less stressful. Originally, I was told repairs might take around three weeks, but they finished everything in about a week from drop-off, which was way faster than expected. My car looks great, and they even went the extra mile by cleaning the inside and removing an old sticker that had been baked onto my door frame. Henson's Fix Auto did a great job on fixing my car 2 weeks ago. My break lining is already needing some change (it was already used for over a year already) and I was looking for a car fix that will not ask for so much with the job. Good thing that I stumbled on this place along the way and ask for the cost of the fix, it's just a simple repair, so I and the mechanic was good for the $250 bucks to include all the service (no tip). It was fast work, I went there the morning and the job is done afternoon on the same day. I didn't have any problems with it until now. read more

I have learned over the years to be patient....especially when it comes to something like this....the last thing you want to do is to push someone to hurry and do a task as important as your vehicle repairs after an accident. Some parts they had to order were a slight bit delayed and to me that's totally understandable - how could anyone think that every part is readily available? That's not realistic. There are a ton of parts under the body that you don't even realize (I do)....so these shops get unfair reviews. Although the accident was not at all my fault - I have to be fair. When I received word that my car was ready I went to pick it up and again I was ready to maybe see something that was not perfect because I had been rear ended and there was a lot of damage - about the only thing I saw was a small cover on the bumper cover that wasn't snapped into place. I asked Emilee if someone could take care of it and with a smile she had it taken care of in just a minute. Three days later I noticed that a piece of trim a barely a tiny bit loose and went back to see Gerber - as soon as Emilee noticed me she was asking if there was something she could help with and again with a smile she walked outside and looked at the trim....she quickly noticed a small clip was missing and replaced it within three minutes. She was happy to help. This is all you can ask for....Emilee has responded to the two minor things I noticed and handled them immediately. I believe if anything else comes up pertaining to the accident that she will be willing to help no problem at all. That's about all I can ask for. I honestly think that the car looks better than it did before the accident. So thank you to everyone at Gerber and I also feel that they will be there for me. They do really good work. My insurance company told me that if I didn't want to use Safelite I could go anywhere but would have to pay the total cost of the windshield up front. I wish I could afford to. I have NEVER had this level of horrible customer service. I would NOT recommend!
