My experience with Fix Auto has been very unpleasant, to say the least. I had very high hopes and faith that this body shop would repair my car in an efficient manner but repair took over a month, and my pick up day continued to be pushed back past the provided 12 day repair time. As my pick up day approached, I would call the office for updates and would not receive clear answers on the status my vehicle. The receptionists at the front desk appear to not know what is going on. I received a text to inform me my vehicle was ready for pick up, and when I called to confirm they did not give me a clear answer. I proceeded to call an hour before closing time for an update and they couldn't confirm or deny whether my vehicle was ready. I then receive a voicemail after their closing hours to provide me with an update. I had to reach out consistently and continually ask for updates because Fix Auto would not do so. Once I received my vehicle, I found a receipt for Jack in the Box, during the time my vehicle was getting "fixed." I do not appreciate having my car used for joy rides or as convenience for someone else to grab food during their lunch break. Not to mention, my gas tank was on empty when I received it. Who knows how many times my car was used for "lunch breaks," but it is unacceptable. This company needs to do better. I'm very unhappy with the lack of communication and honesty. read more

They even contacted Enterprise rental to shuttle me to p/u my rental car. Throughout the repair process I received text updates keeping me in the loop on the progress of my repairs and the estimated completion date. My repair finished a few days ahead of time and I was able to leave my rental with them when I picked up my car. I didn't compare quotes with another company as the cost was covered, so I can't speak to how competitive their pricing is, but the amount seemed reasonable for the required work. On March 5th I took My Honda HRV for repair of the splash guard that was damaged by an object that fell from a truck on E. Ave. M. I was referred to them by my insurance AAA. The next day, March 6th, Fix Auto called me and asked if I had my car serviced lately, I said yes about a month ago. Well so happens that the place that did the service did not put all the screws in that holds the cover in place and thus, the flying object knocked it loose. 1 hour later it went and picked up my car. They had put new screws to secure the cover and even did an alignment on the car at no charge!! For the life of me, I do not understand the bad reviews that have been written?? Super impressed with this place. I crashed my 2020 Acura TLX PMC edition on December 1 and just picked up my car on the 23rd (available for pickup 22nd). I was given a pickup time of Dec 30 so they finished early. We worked with Andrew and Melissa who are absolute professionals! They kept us up to speed every step of the way. Now to the car... I took my car to this shop a they were very polite and offered me a bottle of water Then I was told that I needed to leave vehicle there for a couple of days because they expert needed to check my vehicle. I then received a phone call with the estimate for the parts and labor. The gentleman said that to remove the parts alone would cost me $1,000 and the parts would cost me $2,000. I was in shock when a guy by the name of Carlos became upset because I told him that it was just too much money for the labor. I refused to have any work done and I told him that I would pick up my car the next day. I get there and when I opened the back door to put my things on the back I noticed that my umbrella was stock in the middle of the seats and I couldn't get my umbrella unstuck. Because they had put in back seats down and someone had put my umbrella between the seats. I quickly went inside their office to ask a man with no hair to help me remove my umbrella because I couldn't remove it because it was stuck. I asked the guy without any hair....Why are the back seats down? Then, he said....the seats needed to be removed because the technician needed to check under the seats for the problem. I responded by....I see but what I don't understand why is my umbrella stuck in the middle of of seats? I tried to remove my umbrella but it was really stuck in it, that I had to go back inside their office and the guy without any hair was able to remove my umbrella but when he forcefully pulled it out, my umbrella bent over and broke. Then I told him that I believed that someone had done it on purpose because I had told another guy that I thought that the estimate was just too expensive. The guy said..."The parts will cost you $2,000 and $1,000 for the labor. This is when I said that I would not let them do any work on my car because I thought it was too expensive. I didn't have this kind of money. I think that these people thought that I was probably seating down on a pile of money. I truly believe that someone from this shop put my umbrella in the middle of the back seats which were down and the umbrella was right in the middle of the seats and when the guy pulled out my umbrella it got bent over and broke. Then, I told the guy without any hair that I thought that it w very unprofessional of whoever did this evil wicked action against me by sticking my umbrella between the back seats. The man who works there did this evil wicked deed (action) against me. I would never recommend this place because if the man who did this to me, then they cannot be trusted in my book but are evil. They pretend to be nice but if you tell them that you believe that they are just to expensive and that you do not want them to do any work on your vehicle, this is the kind of deeds this person would do to you. The guy without any hair didn't care when I told him that someone had done this evil action and in the end the guy without any hair ended up breaking my umbrella. I didn't want a new umbrella but what I didn't like was the evil wicked deeds (action) this other man had done. I was sent there by my automobile insurance and I told my insurance what this evil wicked man had done to my umbrella. I will never recommend this shop. NEVER, NEVER!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! Owner Mike is disrespectful. They will damage your car. They will blame other people and they will not fix your car. I brought in my 2022 Lexus with bumper damage. Originally total was a certain amount and then when the bill came they told me it was going to cost more. They told me bill was going to be $1815 and they wanted to charge me $1966 the day i went to p/u the car because on the estimate "they forgot to add a sensor on the estimate." I paid cash not through insurance. I rented a car for the week they had my car. When I received my car I noticed the lining of the car was off, the lights were not aligned and there was gaps. The shop told me to bring the car in and they would fix it. I took the car back and they called me an hour later and told me the car was fixed. I went back and the lining was still not aligned and there was gaps. He told me to leave it again and they would fix it. They call me couple hours later said it was done and i come in and it is still not fixed. They now wanted to keep my car overnight to just remove the whole bumper to see what was wrong. During this time I noticed the paint was chipping, paint was bubbling and there was over paint in some areas. The guy told me they had to fire the painter that week because he was not doing a good job and they would fix the paint. The next day the shop calls me and states the adjuster missed something on inspection and they wanted to charge me an ADDITIONAL $925 because there was parts that were missing and still damaged on the car that they told me was already fixed. I told them I guess I have to do what I have to do but this is their mistake and now im paying for it. The worker was apologetic and even stated "this should have never happened" I don't know why they would charge me additional money for their mistake. They also sent a new estimate which they tried charging me labor for as well after the guy said I would not have to pay for labor since this is their mistake. I rent a car AGAIN for a week they had my car. I finally pick it up and they say it is ready. I pay more money and I take it home and 2 days later my bumper pops off and is hanging off on the left side. I send the shop a picture and they say bring it in and we will fix it. I bring my car in and he has the car for a full day and calls me at 5pm and says the car is done. He says " he car is done but it is still not aligned perfect. I know it's not 100%." I get the car and it still not aligned and the gaps are still there. He tells me to bring it back but at this point I do not want to. I take my car to get serviced at Lexus and they asked me if I did anything to my hood and I said no and they said the hood is damaged and one side has a bigger gap then the other side. I did not even notice this damage until Lexus pointed it out to me. I call the shop and request a refund. The owner Mike calls me and on the phone laughs and states I don't know how you are asking for a full refund. He requests to see the car himself. I bring the car to his shop the next day and he is rude. He keeps speaking over me and at one point he says I can offer you $1000 or I can shake your hand and walk away right now. I asked him for a refund of my bumper because this bumper is not the right bumper for my car and the extra money I paid for the second repair. He said this is a minor damage why would I pay for the bumper. I said if it was minor then why has it not been fixed. Mike the OWNER then puts his finger in my face and while the person im with is requesting to speak to the original guy that has been working with us he starts getting loud pacing back and forth and screams "hey bud" so we will stop talking and like he was going to do something. I walked out of there with nothing. Do not trust them or take your car to this horrible place. You will regret it. read more
