Jeep selected Fix Auto Tacoma South (FATS) for the paint/hinge corrosion issue. My Jeep color is vibrant and I especially worried about paint matching. They did a great job. I really can't even tell there was work done. Where all four door hinges and the hood had corrosion, it all looks like new. I even asked them to fix a small dent in the hood where I paid out of pocket and they accommodated the extra work. I had to make sure they didn't double charge me for required work that was already paid for by Jeep, but they quickly reversed any billing errors. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. You won't get it back for several weeks. The original estimate for the repairs of my car was 2 weeks. When I called during the second week, they said it would be done by the following week, that there was a delay with insurance. I called half way through week 3, and was told it would be ready the following week and to call on Monday. I called on Monday, and they said it would be ready at the end of the week. I called Wednesday and they waffled that it might not be ready at the end of this week. I called today, and they said they will try to get it to me tomorrow. I also never get a phone call back or an update about my car. All updates I receive are because I call them. They have had my car for 4 weeks now, and it has apparently been in paint for a week, and I don't know when I will actually receive my car. read more

Got strached by some idiot in Seattle no real damage just a small paint chip. No dent or anything very minor figured I'd not even call my insurance to drive up my deductible(that minor)...went for an estimate on a paint chip guy told me $1400 and 5 days in the shop. I asked why said he'd have to take off head lights and my whole front end(complete BS). I went and bought a $25 Duplicate color scratch fix all and it looks good as new. I was so worried and stressed after I dented and scraped my new Grand Cherokee! We got a good number of quotes from different places but it was either an outrageous price, or decent but with a note that the repair wouldn't look perfect. I then got a quote from Fix Auto in Tacoma, and they gave me a very fair price. I called and spoke to Bill and he actually sounded confident that this repair would be no problem and that I'd be happy with the results. Really happy with these guys! I hit my friend's car and needed to get it fixed, so I contacted 5 different collision repair shops to get estimates. Of those 5, 3 got back to me. Fix Auto South was one of them, and I corresponded via e-mail with Jason, sending photos of the damage. Jason sent me a comprehensive (and as it would turn out, very accurate) estimate and after a few false starts (thanks to the SNOWPOCALYPSE back in February), my friend dropped her car off at their shop on Monday with Mike promising to have it ready for pick up by Friday. The only hiccup was when I called Friday morning to find out when the car would be ready; apparently a part they needed (and that their system said would arrive by Wednesday) had not yet arrived, and the dealer was late with their delivery. Mike said he would look into it and get back to me, and sure enough, 10 minutes later, he called back and explained that they were going to try and get the part ASAP and get it set up immediately so the car would be ready today (Friday). He promised to call back and let me know how it was going. Around 4 that afternoon, Mike called to let me know the part had come in and the car was ready - I was shocked. I was certain my friend was going to have to go without her car over the weekend, and believe me when I say I was so happy to be wrong in this instance. I only mention the above because I want to say how impressed I was with their customer service - Mike did what he said he would do (find out what's going on and call back, get the missing part installed asap) without any additional prodding from me. I felt taken care of, listened to and like he cared what was going on with my friend's car. He was very good at keeping me updated on things, including e-mailing me my invoice when I requested. The other person I spoke with, Jason, was also very helpful via e-mail and phone, patiently answering all my questions (and there were a lot, because I've never had to deal with a collision shop before and didn't know what I was doing). To top it all off their tech team did an excellent job on the car - I just saw it this morning, and it looks really nice. They replaced the fender, the side light on the fender, and repainted the bumper. In my opinion the only way you can tell it was replaced is because it looks nicer than before (maybe because it's clean, har har). If I ever get into another accident that needs collision repair, I would definitely come back. read more

I took my car to fix Auto and I spoke with Kameron and after his initial evaluation of my vehicle I felt very confident in their service. I proceeded to go through fix and get my car repaired and along the process the service manager kept in touch with me on a weekly basis sometimes twice a week and when I needed an update he was more than honest and was very reasonable with his assessment giving me reassurance that I would be satisfied with the repairs. the car took a little bit longer than expected but at the end of the day I am beyond impressed with the quality of work and the quality of customer service. I made a really stupid decision of taking my 3 week old Outback on a narrow forest road covered in trees, which resulted in heavy scratching front to back on both sides. Fix Auto was able to buff and sand all scratches and apply a paint sealant for $600 and my car looks better than it did when I picked it up from the dealership. Not to mention the detail job on the inside and outside was a great bonus! Their shop is clean and the employees and owner were all very professional. There is no hidden charges as every thing is upfront and won't let your vehicle out of the shop if he is not satisfied. I have been his customer since 2003 and won't go anywhere else. If I am updating the Webster Dictionary, I would have Mike's picture to replace the words; Integrity, Value Added Service, Ethics, Customer Service and Professionalism, etc. Usually, people write reviews if things go wrong, but I doubt that in case of this shop someone has written or will write a bad review so long Mike is running the shop. Not only did they fix the side of the Audi after another driver hit my passenger side while I was at a red light (and did a beautiful job fixing it, you can't ever tell it was in an accident), but they detailed my car and reattached the front bumper free of charge that had been previously damaged when a sprinkler overhang a parking spot at my sister's place and had hooked under the bumper and damaged it when my husband had went to pull away. This place is absolutely fabulous. My insurance referred me to Fix Auto after getting into a car accident, and the entire experience from beginning to end with them was extraordinary. First off, their customer service skills are excellent - I had to talk with them quite a bit and every single time they were always extremely friendly and willing to go above and beyond for whatever it was that I needed. They do also work with Enterprise and call them to come pick you up from their office if you need to rent a vehicle while they work on yours. Even when I was waiting to get picked up from Enterprise, the woman at the front desk of Fix noticed I had been waiting longer than Enterprise said I would, and took it upon herself to call them and see what the hold up was. You hardly get customer service like that anymore! Throughout the whole process of them working on my car they also called and texted letting me know the progress and the estimated day it was going to be finished. Then when I went to pick up my car, you couldn't even tell I had been in an accident! It looked brand new! What was the cherry on top was that they actually detailed my car inside too!
