I backed into a Jeep Waggoner and put a big dent in my rear bumper and torqued the trunk lid slightly. Doug Darnell gave me a great estimate for repairs and I took the Camry in on Monday for a new bumper and tap out of the trunk lid. Work was done by Wednesday. This is a very honest company. I worked directly with the owner Doug. A car had collided with my car (I was in their blind spot). I went to see what a repair would cost. First he said that it could be done for $75-150. Then after doing the repair, he decided not to charge me at all. AT ALL! I stood there and watched him buff out the skidding (that the other car did), then his employee fixed the opening of the passenger door (that was now rubbing due to the impact). It took 15-20 minutes (however he spent easily 30 minutes before that talking me through my options and answering my questions. Then at the end, when I would have paid $75-150 for this work, he said that it was FREE Who does that?!? No one! I just got home from picking up my Ford Explorer from Darnell's. I am so happy I can hardly contain myself. My vehicle had been backed into by another car, breaking the front bumper and grill. Doug not only replaced those things but fixed another existing dent, that I had only asked for an estimate on, the day I brought it in. I had decided (financially) that dent would need to wait. The repairs were so good I can't tell where the damage is and I"ve looked hard. They even fixed some scratches I had on my rear bumper that wasn't part of the original estimate for free. As a new driver, I had an unfortunate encounter with a post in a parking garage and damaged the hood, bumper, and a couple of trim pieces on my car. On a coworker's recommendation, I took the car to Darnell's. After I expressed concern about the cost, Doug talked me through several options that ranged from basic (cheapest) to good-as-new (most expensive). I appreciated his honesty and the fact that he didn't just try to sell me on the most expensive repair. I ended up going for a more extensive repair option and my car looks perfect--the repair isn't visible at all. The back end of my car was damaged recently in a minor fender-bender, and I took the car back to Darnell's for an insurance quote and later, repair. Once again, Doug and his team did an expert job and my car looks great. They also fixed a scratch on my side door for free! I haven't shopped around much to see how Darnell's prices compare to other shops, but I've been so pleased with their work that I don't want to.
