Ethan and staff at Pacific Motor Company aren't willing to work with me to get my car dropped off. I have to drop off at 7 am or later around 5pm but I couldn't get picked up until 5:30-5:45 pm and he was being very stubborn about the hours. On the dot. Nobody was willing to come in 5-10 minutes early or stay 5-10 minutes longer. They don't care about their customers. They just want a paycheck. I was very surprised and remembered, the time I went there before, my husband was on family leave so the drop off time wasn't an issue for us. Now that it is because of taking kids to school, having to drop my husband back to work and getting my son to his school in Renton on time, they aren't willing to work with me. The work done last visit was decent. They just used a cream to buff out scratches. But I will not bring my car back there because they aren't willing to work with customers and the drop box Ethan finally offered was the mail slot through the door which is clear glass. It's not secure. For a shop, you'd think they'd have a drop box. All in all, friendly, decent work but they are not willing to work with you under any circumstances to drop your car off to them so they can complete the work needed. So disappointed! The front house staff was nice, but I would not come here again with my car. I came into the shop to get my bumper fixed (coworker backed up into my car ), but when I came to pick it up, the right side of my bumper wasn't popped in completely! So they had me wait a little bit for them to pop it back in. I also noticed a few medium sized scratches and flecks of white paint on the left side of my Red Mazda that weren't there before I brought my car in. I wish I took pics of my car before bringing it into the shop where they fixed my bumper, but I forgot to‍The mechanic insisted that the scratches/flecks were there prior. A vehicle was rear ended and rolled on top of my Toyota Tacoma. I dropped my truck off on a Friday, the assessment was done Monday (they aren't open on weekends) - from start to finish ALL of the staff were incredibly helpful and courteous. Greg (the manager) worked with me and kept me up to date throughout the entire process at each one of the stages. When I spoke with my insurance company (USAA) they said something to the effect of "the adjustment/assessment should be done so the auto body shop MIGHT reach out to you" -- Pacific Motor Co reached out to me before USAA had a chance to call me. This tells me 2 things: 1.) Not all auto body shops even reach out to the customer 2.) Pacific Motor Co did so either IMMEDIATELY following submitting the assessment to USAA, or just prior so I (the customer) came first and would be in the loop! 11/10 would recommend this shop. Kudos to them for making uncertain times, a little more reassuring! read more

I had time sensitive repair that needed to be ready in three weeks before I was out of town for a few weeks. I decided to take it to Pacific Motor Company in Tacoma (which is an hour and a half from where I live) because they told me they had availability. However, once I dropped it off they did not start on it until 6-7 days later during which I was unnecessarily paying for the insurance on a rental car. On top of this, because they started late, it was not ready before I had to leave, and I also had to pay for transportation for somebody else to pick up the car. The experience was very unsatisfying, and I would not recommend this to someone else looking for a shop. read more

I took my 2016 Mercedes cla 250 there for a simple small dent above my rear passenger door. I was told they would need my car until Thursday. I was called Wednesday afternoon that it was ready for pickup. Fast service and the work was flawless. After I got my keys and started my car, the radio was cranked all the way up on a Hispanic radio station. When I got home I noticed that my drivers side front wheel was scraped(curbed) really bad. I called the next day and made them aware of the wheel and spoke to Greg. He insisted that the curb scrape was there when I dropped it off. I told him that the wheels were all flawless As I just bought the car 2 weeks earlier and haven't driven it much. He insisted that it was there previously. I asked why my stereo was cranked so high to a Hispanic station but he ignored that question. My vehicle was not walked over with me before they accepted it but I was told that it was noted before they accepted it. Sounds fishy. If you go here just document the condition with them before you hand over the keys. Nice body work but definitely not trustworthy. I would definitely not refer any business here for that reason. Outstanding customer service!! I recently purchased a much bigger car and found myself scraping the passenger side while getting into my garage. A friend recommended that I give Pacific Motor Company a try. I called to set up a time for a quote and was told by the receptionist to bring it in at my earliest convenience. When I arrived, I was seen immediately by a supervisor who said that the damage looked superficial. He then said that they could most likely get the bulk of the damage out for little or no cost and then would see what, if anything needed to be repaired. A technician spent about ten minutes on the issue and much to my surprise was able to completely take care of the damage. I now know why they were so highly recommended and busy! They did all the initial paperwork for my car and working through my insurance company. They drop the ball on arranging my rental car for me . They initially told me my car was going to be ready 7 days from the day I dropped it off. Pacific motor company did not call me until the day that it was suppose to be picked up to let me know it will not be ready until 2 days later. When they called they addressed me by the incorrect name. When I corrected the employee she was unapologetic about doing so. This cost me extra money since I had to keep the car for a few more day's. Picking up the vehicle was a nightmare I paid with a bank check which is a corporate or cashiers check just issued by the bank it's just as Good as cash. They would not accept it because it did not say cashiers check on the check. This company needs to educate themselves on forms of different payment so they have a complete understanding on what a personal check is to what a bank/cashiers check. Another inconvience move. Needless to say I will not be taking my car nor any other vehicle to this company ever again even though my warranty for the work is with this company I will pass and give my money,time,energy to some other company that deserves it I do not recommend this company... read more

I originally had issues with this shop because of their sheer volume of vehicles coming in, they clearly overbooked themselves and had a hard time catching up. The people at the front desk have always been amazing, they're always quick to answer questions and can give you responses right away. They overbooked themselves which caused extensive waiting for everyone, not just me. That resulted in nearly a week and a half being taken to do an estimate when I was told it would be completed in two days. However once the complaint was made, I received a call back from Tyler, who took ownership of the problem and did everything he could to make it right moving forward. Since the original issue, he's kept in contact every time, and updated Me every time something happened, quickly and appropriately. In business we all drop the ball once in a while, they clearly dropped the ball, but they Expressed willingness to make things right and follow through on that willingness. I'll be honest. You may have an issue with timing here. They may quote you a timeframe that they do not achieve. But the frustration is apparent in everyone's conversations. This frustrates them seemingly as much as it frustrates us. They are trying to catch up. As we all are trying to catch up. I originally chose this shop because of the positive word of mouth. Their repairs have been done well and consistently. If you chose a place for a major repair. You can rest assured. They will follow through and do things right. That just may take some time to achieve. read more

I have to give Pacific Motor Co. two stars because they were courteous, polite, and got my car back on the road in the time they said they would. However, as about 8 months have passed now since the job was done I'm not very impressed. To start, I had a passenger side, front end collision with my 2003 BMW M3. I have USAA insurance, and I feared they may total the car due to expensive repair costs with low perceived value. This is my forever car and I couldn't stand to see it totaled. Greg, the adjustor I worked with, was very nice and worked with me to find parts and work out costs so that car could be fixed an not totaled, although this was probably in the favor of Pacific as well, since they would profit from the repairs made. The car was done within a day of planned completion, and their paint shop did a phenomenal job. I have no complaints in that department. The ladies working at the front desk were great as well, very friendly, and Pacific has a good working relationship with the local rental companies as well. The rental company met me at Pacific and had my car waiting for me. The first big mistake they had was with one of my tires. The front passenger side tire was replaced because it had rubbed on the fender quite a bit from the wreck. However it was still completely usable, so I had asked for it back. Upon pickup, Greg told me the tire would be in the trunk. It wasn't. They told me they would go grab it because it was probably at the shop they outsource their tire mounting and alignments too. Next day I come back, no tire, they don't know where it is. So I went down to the alignment shop myself and they had no idea where it was, they don't allow employees to take tires home, and they keep them in a big pile until the recycler comes. So my tire disappeared into thin air, interesting. No resolution offered. Also, about a week after pickup I was detailing the car and noticed the passenger side mirror had deep scratches in it, I think because they were taking parts in and out of the passenger seat. Upon further inspection, the rear bumper where the trunk opens had a plethora of light surface scratches. This was from their employees taking parts in and out of the trunk, and probably also because that is where they left all the broken parts that I asked be returned to me for refurbishment. I called Greg and he had me bring the car in to be repainted in these areas, but I no longer experienced the warm fuzzies I had earlier in the process before I had any complaints. The car was repainted in those sections, and I picked it up feeling satisfied for the time being. The car has, from the factory, headlight washers, little sprayers that pop out and spray the headlights when you engage the windshield washers, only when the headlights are on. About three months later I decided to check these for function, and they didn't work. I had a trusted mechanic in Kassel Motorsports (in Puyallup) so I took it to him for some other maintenance and had him check it out. Turns out the pump for the headlight washers and other electrical and fluid connection to the mechanism were not connected, behind the bumper. He fixed it and completed the requested maintenance and I was on my way. Fast forward to now, and I am doing a Xenon headlight retrofit on the car, since in order to keep the car from being totaled we had to revert to factory halogen headlights from factory xenons to keep repair costs down at Pacific Motor Co. As I was removing the headlights I noticed multiple broken tabs on the brand new parts Pacific had installed, visual confirmation of shoddy repair work. As I was removing trim and the headlights, I found the horn dangling in the bumper. The horn is a single bolt simple mount to the bumper, which I am assuming Pacific lost and therefore just left the horn dangling in the bumper assuming it would never be disassembled by me. There were also at least 3 other missing screws and fasteners in the bumper, as well as mismatched non factory fasteners attaching the headlights to the car. This is disappointing because it seems to be have done under the assumption that I would never notice upon a simple surface level inspection, and I didn't until I looked further. In conclusion, Pacific Motor Co. was very courteous and professional in their personal interactions with me, and has a good reputation. However, upon further inspection, which I am assuming most customers don't remove panels and trim to see repair work behind the scenes, I discovered an unacceptable amount of shortcuts taken and subpar repair work done. The paint looks great, and the timeliness was great, but I would never take my car back to Pacific if they are willing to take the shortcuts they did. It was not up to OEM standards, not even close. Luckily I have moved to the opposite coast, and my lifetime warranty on repairs stands with my insurance company, but I won't have to bring it back to Pacific again to have them make "repairs". read more

We had an accident a few months a go. My insurance recommended me to this place Pacific Motor CO. I looked up the reviews. It had good reviews. We took it to there and they fixed the accident's damage good, but later on the Front and the back bumpers start Loosening and I turned to there and still have same issues. I turned it to there second time and it got better a little bit but the front bumper only. The back still is the same and the big thing is the front head light was scratched the driver side. I have been checking my car everyday and I have never seen this damage until now. He told me that was there. The guy who was talking to me is named Greg. He said "for the back bumper some one hit you and it's not my fault and this was not part of the coverage". My insurance send me a receipt for how much they paid them for the car accident I had. For the lights he said "its from the sun" all my lights are clean and good but the only one damaged is on the drivers side. He told me that it was there because of the sun. I attached a video and pictures so you guys can see it before I left my car with them. I'm very very disappointed in Greg. He is the boss there and I asked for the boss I thought he will fix my issues but he made it worst. His last words was "I will not fix your light" and he hint to me that I'm a liar. I asked if there is any big boss and he said he is the boss but the big boss is not available. He was mad and visibly upset with me because I tried to explain to him the car is not fixed and they damaged the lights. read more
