I needed a kitchen sink faucet replacement, and potentially a valve replacement. I received an estimate the day before, $349 for a faucet installation if I provide the faucet. Valve for $129. Kitchen faucet plus installation $749 (which I assumed included the potential valve replacement, because why would I want them to supply a $400 faucet instead or ordering my own?) I asked them to let me know if the valve in fact needed replacing and I didn't hear from them until the work was finished. There was no confirmation or photos sent of what faucet would be installed or the cost prior to installation. So they installed the new faucet and tried to charge me $749. I said there must be a mistake and they were like alright we got the faucet on sale we'll knock off $30. I paid $719 for a new kitchen faucet. Granted, it is a nice faucet but it is unnecessarily nice.

He was very thorough and explained things to me multiple times as the plumbing world is very foreign to me. I felt he was very honest with what exactly needed to be done in order to fix the pipes that were leaking in the attic. During this time, I also had received other quotes that were astronomically high for the same amount of work that Stephen was going to be doing for me. He sent me the quote promptly the next day and answered additional questions I had before we agreed to the contract. Didn't seem to be a problem with electric, refrigerant, etc. We'd had the unit serviced recently so not much dirt on the unit.. I guess we're lucky because in the few years we've been here both our units have functioned great. Wasn't sure who to call, but we'd had a great experience with the plumbing side of Hansen, so we reached out. Scheduling was very easy. You can do so online, or a real person answers the phone. They offered to have someone out within a few hours! Our problem wasn't that urgent, but it's comforting to know. Benjamin was our technician, and he was great with communication. He diagnosed the problem (leaking fan motor) very quickly, and gave us options for repair. At no time was he pushy about anything, just factual. We were on the fence with repair vs replace, but decided the unit had enough life in it to repair. Ben also gave us figures on replacing with an eye towards the future. He wrote it all up even knowing that we weren't going to buy anything in the short term. This is really excellent customer service, and you can bet when we're ready we will remember. The repairs were done quickly, we got an email with the invoice and pictures of all the areas worked on. The property was left tidy, and it was an overall excellent experience. That was a week ago, and our AC is working better than it has in the past two years.

I understand that jobs can run over, but it's common courtesy -- and basic professionalism -- to communicate delays to customers ahead of time.
