We had some hiccups in the beginning, but Mike turned out to be great and I would definitely hire him again. I had a window in my attic bathroom that cranked outward but did not crank back inward. Mike provided a very quick quote via Yelp and we scheduled for the following Monday. That Monday, Mike had some scheduling challenges and needed to reschedule. So we planned for the following morning. When I reached out the following morning, Mike explained that his worker refused to go to the area where my two flat was located due to recent crime reports in the news. I explained to Mike that it is an emergency because I have an upcoming inspection and they specifically pointed out the window. I was to receive a quote to approve for them to order the glass and schedule repairs. I can no longer get a hold of Michael. It was a week ago he measured the windows. I would HIGHLY recommend Window PAC and the owner, Michael. I had ten windows that were fogged up and Michael replaced those for me with thermal insulated glass panes with Low E coating and Argon gas. Much cheaper and more efficient than replacing complete windows. I had gotten three estimates and after reviewing them all, Michael just blew away the competition. Prices were pretty similar but when I looked at the products they offered, Window PAC's were way beyond what the others offered, with a 25 year transferrable warranty. Also I was impressed with the work that was done. They were very organized and did the work in a very timely fashion. They have their own truck where they did all the work on the windows, so there was no real effect on the household. They just took the windows out and brought them back in. And as you can see in the accompanying pictures, the new windows are amazing. I can actually see through them! Also, Michael is very easy to work with. He's the owner and is the one who measured the windows and then came out to install them working with one assistant. And he's just an all around nice guy. I tried helping out since I am retired and happened to be here, and Michael actually replaced the screens on two of my windows at no charge because I was helping out. I was amazed and when I asked about the screening and where I could get it for other windows that I wanted to rescreen, he offered to rescreen all my windows at no extra charge! An amazing person. Person who came was very rude and late. Continued to change dates . He was in a huge hurry and charged 1600 for 9 windows for a 66 year old woman to open and 2 to repair . He insisted on coming up the passenger elevators as opposed to freight elevators for all contractors. He said he was given permission but no one here gave him permission as I am the owner who gets fined and he continued to to it. He said 3 people would be here for a day. He showed up with one other worked for 2 hours . Broke a window without telling me then came back hours later to tell me and said he'd be back next week with the new window because he was very busy . I said I cannot open the other windows easily and he said nothing he can do about it. He never came back . After many phone calls including 2 from our building engineer he finally came back with the window he broke . I told him I still couldn't open many windows he worked on and had another worker here who tried also and is a witness . He said he was busy and can't do any more and demanded fulll payment. I said he did not complete the contract . He said he will sue me instead because I'm not nice. read more

I first reached out to Michael via email to discuss getting my front patio door redone (was so drafty there might as well been a freaking hole in the wall instead of a door). He was real helpful over email & then, really unusual these days, actually gave me a call to discuss my issue. He came over the same day & explained to me exactly what had to be done & how long it would take/how much it would cost. Damn, so far so freaking great. So the very next day (he had to put off a job for a few days due to what the weather was going to be, lucky me indeed) he came & got my keys & got to work. So I showed up a few hours later & wow! The door was looking completely new & not one wisp of air was coming through! Seriously, from my kitchen to my living room there was like a 10 degree difference. So anyway, he mentions that it'll be another hour or so to paint & I tell him I'm wiped & can he come back for that. He not only says sure (Yeah, it'll be a bit since he's busy; I'm fine with that), but has me not pay him for the painting portion until it's painted. He & his guys were super nice, clean, & professional, and I would not hesitate for one second to give them a referral. Just A+ all around. read more

Michael and his team at Window PAC did a phenomenal job in restoring my 20 year old sliding doors that were no longer on the frame, the door frame itself needed repair, and was leaking massive amounts of cold air. He was able to completely repair the two 6ftx8ft sliding doors in the front and back of my apartment to original quality. Complete restoration also comes with a 5 year warranty by him! I was quoted by 3 other contractors that the sliding doors would need complete replacement for $4000+ each but Window PAC were able to completely restore the doors without replacement for a fraction of the cost. Original quoted price is what I paid, incredibly professional, and always on-time or flexible with scheduling. After a few month of harsh winter, blistering cold winds, and rain showers I can confidently say that the sliding doors are no longer leaking air and functioning good as new. read more

Window PAC came out to house to look at many windows in an old house that had no issues and looked fine from the inside and outside but were foggy and were difficult too open. A Rep came to house rushed in and just told me that they couldn't repair windows because they were rotting on the outside. I called this company because they said they could repair windows. Spent about 2 minutes with me and just said they couldn't do the work. Recommended that APEX could do the work but APEX gets mediocre reviews. Michael and Window PAC were incredible! We discovered broken glass on our front exterior entry door mid day Friday. The next day was supposed to bring ice, rain, and snow so we needed to act quickly to repair our door. I called and spoke to someone on Friday around 4pm, sent photos via text, and scheduled the appointment for the following morning (even though they don't typically work on Saturdays). They did the job in about an hour and a half and the window (which is on a custom 1920s door) is absolutely seamless! Their work is immaculate. My wooden windows were rotting. I contacted several contractors who only wanted to replace the entire windows, at a cost of many thousands of dollars. Michael from Window PAC agreed to replace only the rotten wood, rebuilding the windows using the existing hardware and glass, at one third of the cost of replacing them. He and his partner worked hard and diligently, cleaned up after themselves, and finished on time.
