We called for a repair visit and no one returned our call. Then we made an appointment for 12-3 , but no one called or came. We called back at 4:45 and were assured someone would be there that day. No one came. We made another appointment and the service man came, but claimed he wasn't given any parts. After a few minutes of discussion another employee came out of the same truck with the parts. That person then complained about the measurements, which had been taken by their salesperson, as being wrong and he had a negative attitude. I would not recommend this company.

(i hired bricktech because a couple of weeks previously they had done a clean, quality job for my neighbor.) i asked asad to please use a larger grinder to properly cut the slab. i return from getting a coffee and asad's 2 "assistants" are packing the broken concrete of the original 5" slab into the flags that are about to be hand mixed and poured; i tell asad that the new slab he is installing can not be 2" thick and he should replace the original 5" slab with a 5" slab especially since it is a corner with a bus stop. asad suddenly says he can't do the job if i am not happy! i had zelled him $1150 (%50) as he started the job; as per our agreement. i ask asad why he is doing such a crappy, dishonest job for me when he recently did a nice job, up the block, for my neighbor. asad starts to cry and tells his 2 "assistants" to stop work and get back into the fancy new truck. wow! wow! i never met a cry-baby concrete contractor!! asad obviously embarrassed to tell his dad about his unprofessionalism has not reimbursed any part of the money. i really think asad is a spoiled child who just wants to drive an expensive new red truck but he does not know how to do his job. he is unprofessional and incompetent; i recommend working exclusively with his father or any other contractor. asad left me with a large 2 flag hole to fill at 3pm! luckily i was able to get a yard of premix delivered (whithin 1hr) and knew two guys who could help otherwise it would have been stressful! reimburse me what you owe. asad you are a dishonest person who needs to grow up!

Usman and his incredibly capable crew restored and repaired my 6 story townhouse back exterior and…read moremy roof, which are made out of EIFS stucco. We had hired a structural engineer to add flashing to balconies as well as ceiling fans. When he added the fans, he cut into the EIFS and did a very poor job patching the channel he cut to hide the electric. This caused condensation inside the home and required immediate repair. Usman is a class act. He personally showed up to the project himself every single day. He also did certain parts of the project himself or was helping his men in any way he could by doing various tasks. The roof needed a sauna removal, which Usman and his crew did with extreme care, but also left lots of damage to the EIFS stucco. Usman and his team carefully repaired it. Upon repair, he inspected our roof and found many critical issues we were unaware of. It was not done in a "pushy contractor" way, it was done because he knows his business and his products so well, he wanted to figure out why the roof was requiring so much product and because he is INCREDIBLY detail oriented. It was because the EIFS was getting wet due to exposed limestone joints, which over time would have meant we would have to redo the entire EIFS (a very big and expensive job) and he also found an immediate future issue which would have caused a leak. We were able to fix and get ahead of both, while staying on the original timeline. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated Usman and his team's attention to detail from start to finish of the project. Over the past 8 years in my townhouse, I have put a lot of work into it. It is tricky to find a great contractor. One that is not only talented, but also cares about his work AND his workers!!! That is a true sign to me of a wonderful company. He not only ordered lunch for his crew, he ALSO ordered lunch for my housekeeper and myself! I kept calling my husband and telling him how kind Usman was and how thorough. He is EXTREMELY thorough. He is collaborative in the sense that he will listen to the owner (in this case me) and address any and all concerns or questions I had with thoughtfulness and care. We hadn't planned on restoring the front of my building, which is limestone, but I had a quick question about it (NOT part of the scope!) for Usman and after I received the answer, my husband and I decided to get a bid to do preventative work to restore the front using Usman and his team again. I will absolutely continue to be a repeat customer. Owning a building requires contractors and Usman and his team are absolute gems. Clean, courteous, professional, and talented. We have spent hundreds of thousands on "top contractors" and some have been good, some awful, Usman was great. I couldn't recommend Hi Tech Contracting & Restoration more.
