I contacted FIXED HVAC Service because my basement unit was leaking water all over the floor. In addition to this, the air from my vents wasn't as cold as it should've been which caused me to run my AC for hours, which in turn, caused me to have outrageously high electrical bills each month. The tech that showed up was, Kevin. He showed up exactly on time, called before hand to let me know he was on his way and he diagnosed my issues quickly and accurately. My unit is over 12 years old, and on its way out, however, Kevin was able to get things working effectively saving me thousands of dollars. My unit may or may not last another year or two, but when it's time to upgrade to a newer unit, I'll be calling FIXED to come get me hooked up. They are, by far, one of the most honest companies I've come across in a while. The prices was more than reasonable, the customer service was excellent and their techs are very knowledgeable. Outstanding service, cannot recommend this company enough, and John is a great guy. Any time we've had to have our AC unit serviced, Fixed! has been available to accommodate our needs. We've had them do both minor and major work, but more recently tapped them for an AC condenser install. A service tech came out to do a free quote (on-time), advised us on what we needed, and gave us a couple of options, both with very fair pricing. Once we made our selection, Fixed! continued to provide excellent service. They contacted us when the unit was in, we scheduled an appropriate day and hour, the techs arrived on-time, and the entire replacement was done within 2ish hours. This wasn't an all-day affair, which was nice, as it conveniently left us with time to attend to other matters. With any other work, they've also been able to do service calls on short notice, which is a large credit to how organized they are. They are my go-to for any HVAC service in the area. read more

I recently purchased a new Trane HVAC system from Fixed just in time for cold weather. Mike and Kevin arrived early and did an outstanding job installing my new system even though it was a cold and rainy day. I offered to postpone until better weather but Mike insisted they would not not be hampered by bad weather. The installation went smoothly and they finished ahead of the time frame I was quoted. Mike and Kevin were very professional and gave me tips on the use of my new digital system and the low maintenance that I should expect (change the filters every 90 days). UPDATE: It's 3 years since FIXED! installed my heat pump system, earning my respect and gratitude. I've still never submitted a single review on Yelp for any business other than this one, that's how special I think it is. The unit's worked perfectly ... until a pre-July 4th thunderstorm that caused power to flip on and off many times, which apparently fried the contactor for the heat pump, so that the fan outside would run continuously. I contacted FIXED!, they came out promptly, Mike checked the system and replaced the contactor with no fuss (and no charge for the new part). These guys are so great to work with. My heat stopped working around 2:00 a.m. I called FIXED! around 9:00 a.m. the next day and was so fortunate to be able to receive service on the same day that I called! The Technician was so friendly and knowledgeable. He not only explained what he was doing, but answered my many questions with a friendly attitude. Other companies are always trying to sell me services and products that I do not need, so it was so refreshing to know that FIXED! was not trying to take advantage of me in this way. Talk about happy! I called and made an appointment for a service call during the 90+ heat wave, and got an appointment for the next day. Then to my surprise, John called me and came much earlier than pre-arranged. He asked for symptoms and I told him that if you hit the condenser fan with a stick, it would come on, but the unit wouldn't cool. Without batting an eye he knew what the problem was. He quickly replaced the faulty part, and then hosed down the condenser fins (I just happened to ask how to do it properly and he jumped in), and then he was on his way. Professional, honest, and affordable. My HVAC system went down within a month of buying my house in 90 degree weather. I had a "home warranty" through the sale but American Home Shield was terrible-- no responses, didn't dispatch within a week of the house being over 90 degrees. I reached out to John at Fixed and he went above and beyond to provide a full system replacement that was within my budget and scheduled replacement promptly. This is not your typical HVAC company that is trying to sell you equipment that will cost you more just for their benefit. They will recommend repairs and/or equipment based on what's best for the customer. They installed a full HVAC system in my house. We were from out of State and recently bought a home in Maryland. When the AC unit would not work a week after moving in, I had NO IDEA who to use. After seeing John's reviews on Yelp, we figured we would give him a call. Boy, did we hit the jackpot! WOW!! I don't know if FIXED philosophy is "make a good first impressions and then aim for downhill from there"... but right now all my HVAC needs is thiers to lose. I am a multiple property owner in Maryland just outside of Washington DC and live outside the state. So it's essential that you find a good HVAC company that is excellent in it's craft and reliable. There is nothing that upsets me more then to not show up within your SET three hour window. Imagine my warm and fuzzy when the technician showed up earlier than expected. FIXED HVAC has been my service company for years now, and I wouldn't want another company. Whether I was calling because my air conditioner wasn't working or my furnace was giving me issues, FIXED! Came out quickly, was knowledgeable and the crew was friendly! I have a duel heat system, meaning I use electric until the temperature drops below 40 degrees and then I use oil. I did originally have 2 other companies come out to get the service to work ( switch to oil heat) and neither of the other companies were able to get it working. Thank you FIXED! Recently on a Sunday, around 10 pm, I noticed my HVAC wasn't cooling, although it was running. After resetting it, checking the fuses, etc., and having no luck, I spied the maintenance sticker on my unit from their last visit. At midnight, I put in a request for emergency service via the contact option on their website. At 5:30 am Monday, they responded. They were at my home that same day before 3 pm. Fixed HVAC Services is the only HVAC company we use. John Hamblin is honest, excellent at what he does and goes above and beyond to satisfy the customer. He recently helped us out during our kitchen remodel that involved the City of Annapolis.
