I feel really fortunate to have come across USA HVAC services. They just got done replacing our Air Conditioning, Furnace and Humidifer and everything works great. After soliciting 6 bids from various HVAC companies, USA HVAC had the competitors beat on several levels. 1) Lowest cost. A little bit less than the next competitor, 2,400$ less than highest competitor. 2) Speed. Most companies told me that there is a shortage of equipment due to manufacturer shutdown during the Covid epidemic and I needed to place an order asap for fulfillment between 1-2 weeks. Jason and his team were able to get replacement equipment the same day (They worked diligently to 10pm to ensure we had AC that night). For some reason he wasn't experiencing the same supply issues that others mentioned. 3) Knowledge. Jason has paid his dues being the industry for 18 years, he has a master HVAC license and he's personally involved in every job. 4) They threw in extras. CO monitoring, condensing unit riser pad, filter 5) Warranty. 10 years on all parts, 1 year on labor. 6) Safety, they installed a carbon monoxide sensor, a condensate drainage sensor and other safeties on the equipment. There was an extra fee for coming out after hours, but it was worth it. Jason identified the problem quickly (some kind of coil? in the AC unit), and fixed it that night-AC back I service. This company is top quality. Jason, our technician, was knowledgeable and friendly. He was completely professional and explained, in detail, what the problem was with our HVAC system. They charged a flat rate for the service of $87.00 as promised, but overcharged for a part in my opinion. The normal cost on a dual capacitor at the highest rate is $20.99. They charged me $248.04 for the part. I understand some mark up of even 200% but from $20.00 to $248.00 is not acceptable. Im betting that most people would not check this out, but Im not most people. Go ahead and look up a 35/5 MDF dual capacitor on Amazon. You will find they average about $15.00. The manager kept trying to tell me the mark up is the industry standard, when I confronted him with calling up an HVAC company that works for my company (they typically dont work in my area or I would have called them) and ask them what the industry standard would be, he started to back pedal and stated now he was a flat rate company and the work was built into the price of the part. No, your standard work flat fee is $87.00. In my opinion if you use this company check the price on their parts before you say yes. I do not recommend them at all. As an update to add insult to injury: they claim that they presented this price prior to the work being completed. This is absolutely not true. I would never have approved such an outrageous marked up part. I have offered them a compromise of removing the part (and I will pay them their flat rate of $87.00 to do it) and refunding the $87.00 since I can easily get the part for $18.99 and install it myself in less than 5 minutes. read more

We hired a different HVAC company for a broken AC unit. They came out, said it was a bad capacitor, and told us they'd be back in a few hours to replace it. Those "few hours" turned into six hours, then eight, then the next morning, then the following week?!? For a capacitor? Our house hit 97 degrees upstairs. I ended up calling USA and booked same-day emergency service. The technician was a little late but called to let us know his new arrival time, which I greatly appreciated. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He had our capacitor installed and AC running in under 30 minutes, and he even gave me some tips for in between maintenance. And the price was so much cheaper than the other company, even with the emergency service fee. If I hadn't been so sweaty from spending three days in 96+ degree heat, I would have hugged him.
