Not sure who is writing all of these great reviews but our experience was very poor. They job out all of their work, no supervision, and the workers are so dirty that my house was covered in construction dust. I had to clean it every night when I got home. First shower drain glued in improperly, glass door not right, second shower took forever, glass door wrong. I heard I am sorry so many times that I could have recorded it. The subway tile, not properly installed, looks like an amateur installed it, "Well its the tile you picked" Well its the tile you sold me. If you can't install it don't sell it. It went on and on to the point that I removed the third bathroom from the project. Great job on installing the carpet in the bedroom and they were very responsive on the timing for that install. Our sales guy was very nice but overall not happy with the outcome. read more

What Started with a new kitchen, turned into a kitchen, bathroom, and wood floor in the dining / living rooms. This is testament to the great support and work that Sam, Jessie and the team did with the first job, our kitchen. Very helpful, good quality, timely, and overall good prices for the work. There are always road bumps with any remodel, but the team were very fast in responding and fixing any issue with minimal fuss. Would recommend FKB design for sure! read more

I do concur with Aimee. I had a similar experience where we had a hard time getting our dream bathroom requirements fulfilled, project scheduling nightmares , failed timely execution, frequent follow ups done on our part instead of project management which is expected from the company. Observed during the project a lot of communication gaps/misunderstanding which caused a lot of frustration. Unfortunately we had to move on as were tight on timelines + more than 50% deposit paid and had to sign the contract amendments(much later after the initial signing) with no other choice left for us. Would advise FKBD to give more details/breakdown on the expenses,Detailed Specifications on the project as discussed/agreed,Detailed Design from the beginning of the project before signing a formal contract and any advance exchanged to ensure both parties are on the same page before entering into a Contract. It would help in making the Transaction more Smooth,Transparent and frustration free. Another bathroom remodeling project coming up soon but definitely would refrain going with FKBD again :-(. read more

We did at least 5 places before we got to FKBD... All of them had shaddy, not upfront cost, didn't really wanna work for you kind of attitude. When we walked into FKBD, we met Shawna. She was honest, straight up with us and very eager to work for us. All we wanted was to buy the supplies and install the laminate floors ourselves. She gave us a price right away, let us take samples to our home to see what was a good fit with our tiles. Then we got back there, she checked if she could give us an even better price since we were ordering a large quantity and she DID! We couldn't be happier. We rented a truck at HD and picked up the 1400 sq.f. of flooring boxes. She got us a good price on baseboards as well. All in all the experience was great. The quality of the floor is amazing!!! We were looking to replace our existing laminate flooring for the entire down stairs with hard wood flooring and also change our kitchen counter top and back splash, we have been shopping for couple of months and after visiting Flooring Kitchen and Bath Design, we finally found what we were looking for. First of all, they have a great selection to choose from which was our main concern. Dawn made great recommendations in selecting our wood with the perfect colors we were looking for, also their prices are very competitive with the rest of the places that we have been to in the past, but the main thing was their service and installation was beyond fantastic, they showed up on time, they were clean and installation was perfect. I had interviewed multiple companies in hopes of remodeling my kitchen last summer. It was overwhelming and frustrating with the variety of quotes that I received. Due to Covid, it also took 8 months to get my appliances so I was definitely ready to get the project underway and completed as soon as possible. I contacted Bita over the phone after finding FKBD. She was extremely helpful and made me feel confident this was the right place for the job. She came to our home and assisted with the design plans for the kitchen and selected materials for the counters, backsplash, cabinets, etc. that all worked beautifully with our home. We had a few minor set backs but FKBD made sure that everything was taken care of in a timely manner and that we were completely satisfied with the quality of work. Me and my wife were looking to remodel our kitchen and bathroom and flooring in our entire first floor after going to few places we found the best selection in Flooring Kitchen and bath design in lasers ranch. Mike and Dawn were extremely knowledgeable and helpful to make us choose the right product in our kitchen and shower and then when I came to installation , it was excellent and they were able to do all of our plumbing and electrical work, so we didn't have to go anywhere else for that. Our kitchen and bathroom looks fantastic and installation was flawless and of corse we shopped for a while and their pricing was in the top two of our lease , very competitive . WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! If it's possible to add more stars to this rating, then I would. Shawna is a Super Star and she delivered with amazing results. She bent backwards, forward, side to side for us to get the beautiful flooring that we had installed. I'll spare the story of what took place, but Shawna did everything for us to make it happen. Her crew was fantastic, skilled, on time and very friendly which is hard to come by these days. They took care of any issues prior to the install and I couldn't be more happier on the outcome. Great place. The worked very well with me. They gave me a great veterans discount. The price and selection was great. I had a flood and started with a contractor that gave me an excessive price. I came to this company and they beat it by a few thousand. The service and work was great. There was a small issue with the grout, but they came back and fixed it quickly without fuss. read more

Tim was extremely patient while I tried to figure out my flooring options for our new home. I came into the process totally against laminate flooring and ended up purchasing/installing it and it looks fantastic! Laminate has come a long way :) In addition I had risers put on the old staircase to break up the solid wood look. During installation the head guy told me they had used all the long pieces of wood and as a result, there would be a seam in the riser on the very first step - the most visible one. I told him that was unacceptable and that I would drive to Lowes to get a new piece for them to install. Not too big of a deal, but we had literally just moved in and things were crazy! After installation was complete, I received a follow up call from Tim and told him I loved the floors but I did mention the incident. Without me asking for anything, he said that was totally unacceptable and offered me a discount off my remaining balance. Would definitely recommend FKB! One of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor. I cannot thank Mike enough for the impeccable customer service and great work his crew did for us. We just purchased a new home that was in dire need of new hardwood. I received 4 estimates and he was one of the reasonable options. I choose FKB because they had an extremely wide choice in options and the people were so nice! Dawn and the rest of the team at the store are so great! The installation team was on time, courteous, professional and very detail oriented. Mike went above and beyond in customer service and coordinated the installation of the floors with all the other work we were doing to the house, which is not typical for a floor instal. As in all new home projects, there was an issue in timing (not caused by him or his team) which he generously resolved by expediting the delivery of my floors without any additional charges. His rates are very good, crew is clean, polite and now my new house has pristine new floors that have transformed the house into a gorgeous home. I'm sure it was an arduous process for him as I can be very specific with what I want but he went above and beyond in service. I will be calling Mike when we renovate the kitchen and bathrooms! FKBD did our flooring last year (2016). We had a great experience. They showed up on the day of the appointment and they completed the flooring early, in a couple of days rather than a week as was estimated. I had shopped around for months for the right color flooring, best prices and service. I walked into this store on a whim looking for the right color flooring. I met Tim and right away he was super helpful and helped me find the color I had been looking for in laminate wood flooring and gave me a great price. From this point on, Tim was amazing and handled everything professionally as well as gave me design advice. The installers I had were the best contractors I have ever worked with. Super friendly, communicated well everyday with their progress and cleaned up everyday. I got my entire downstairs tile and carpet removed and all new laminate wood flooring installed. In July FKBD has done a project for us, it included changing kitchen counter top to granite, remodeling bath room, and replacing carpet with laminate hard wood floor. The work was finished in about one week, and it was beautifully done. Specially the hardwood floor attracted many praises from neighbors and friends. I think it is the best hardwood floor work I have ever seen, additionally the fee charged for this project is very reasonable. read more

Overall had a great experience with FKBdesign. We started the process almost a year ago following slab leaks. Tim helped us with selecting the flooring. Since I had a difficult time deciding as well as visualizing the new floor, he went above and beyond what others would do. He brought over 2 different flooring samples (I was debating between them) of which he happened to have several extra boxes. He put together the large sections of flooring (on top of our current floor at the time) of both samples so we could visualize the color and texture in our home. The large sections of floor samples were in our home for almost a week so we had time to look at it and decide what we liked best. Shortly after he collected the large sample material, he invited us to another customer's house who happened to have had the same floor we liked installed that previous week. It made a huge difference to see the floor in someone's home! Due to major renovation work throughout our home, they were very flexible with scheduling and install. They installed our second story flooring prior to end of the year holidays. They were even more flexible working around our kitchen demo/install by coming out at the time of our kitchen demo for first floor tile demo (a HUGE project) then coming out immediately following our cabinet install. The installers did an amazing job!! We had our first and second story as well as the stairs completed in the laminate we selected. After living with the floor for a little bit now, we are very happy with our selection and the install work!!! read more

FKBD installed porcelain wood tile in our kitchen and family room. Dawn was a pleasure to work with and helped me pick the perfect tile for our project. She really is good at what she does. It was not inexpensive, as choose a high end tile but the quality of Duchateau tile is worth the extra money. The crew did a great job pulling up existing wood floor and installing new tile floor and base boards. Although they broke a tile on our fireplace, they did locate another tile to match and repaired it. The project took longer than expected (10 days), but was a big area. Dawn and staff were available to us for questions and concerns during the project and we were pleased with the outcome. read more

I met Mike 9 years ago when he remodeled my kitchen, two bathrooms (powder and master) and all floors in my former house. In my current house, Mike has put travertine in my downstairs and done two complete bathroom remodels. His guys are masters with granite, tile and stone especially, having done some incredible work in both my houses. I am very picky and not only has Mike more than met my standards, but he's done so at a very reasonable cost and always finishes on time. He's done several rush jobs for me when I needed to coordinate movers and he'll do whatever it takes to get it done on time with 110% quality. I have incredible before and after shots of work he's done for me. I recommend him all the time and will have him do my master bathroom when I'm ready later this year. read more

This store is wonderful. Shawna was great with colors, textures, and understood what we were trying to do. A joy to work with and she listened to everything we said and advised us without being overbearing. Kevin is very precise and detail orientated and wants to be sure all work done correctly and done to the client's agreement. He does several walkthroughs to see if he sees something amiss that we did not. We contacted three different store before we picked FKBD. One never returned the call and one took six weeks to give us a quote. Shawna had the rough quote ready in five days. We will work with FKBD when we redo our kitchen. read more

I'd give them a 2.5, but no way to do that, so they get a 3. We had Tim as our consultant. He was 4.5 hours late for the appointment to measure our floor. We then made an appointment for an estimate. When we went in for our appointment, Tim wasn't ready for us. At first he couldn't find our paperwork, then we had to sit there for 20 minutes as he worked up our estimate. My husband was completely fed up! But I was in love with the flooring that I saw there. So we went with FKBD Flooring. I'm happy to report that the installation went perfectly... on time and well done. We are very happy with our new floor. Would be go back to FKBD Flooring? Probably not... read more

So we updated our kitchen in November and decided to remodel our master bathroom in February. If the experience that we had with our kitchen was a 10, our experience with the bathroom surpassed that and was a 12! We worked with Shawna, Mike, and Kevin, and truly can't thank them enough for helping to make our bathroom look better than the model homes in the new community down the street. Shawna was patient and offered some great options to help us narrow our design choices. Without her, we're not sure exactly where our uncreative minds would have taken us, but it wouldn't look nearly as nice as it does. Kevin and Mike were so responsive to our questions and requests, and they frequently dropped by to make sure everything was going as planned. A really great part was that there was something happening every day. That made us feel much more comfortable with the process rather than the horror stories you hear where the work site becomes a ghost town for days at a time.
