Love the location and vibes of Flagship on the Fox. They've added an outdoor space due to Covid-19 in addition to having an indoor patio area- and I've been using those 2 spaces for safer eating. They have numerous delicious cocktails at this location- I typically try something different each time I visit. They also have lots of delicious and comforting foods on the menu. I've had several items that were quite tasty- a burger, grilled cheese, chicken strips, etc. I would describe this restaurant as slightly high end bar food. I'll continue to frequent this location- though I tend to avoid it on weekend evenings because it is packed! read more

Fish tacos - 3 tacos w/ chips and salsa - the heat with the creama jalapeño was on fire! It took over the flavor of everything else. I can handle heat. But I had to stop after my second taco. Fish & chips - 2 strips and waffle fries - portion was lacking comparing to other places. Flavor was good. Waffle fries were good and fresh! Drinks were cold, service was quick and fast! Ended up at Flagship for a birthday celebration; they were able to accommodate a reservation for 20 people! The vibes inside are awesome with live music with transition to lively music in the evening. I ordered the sriracha hot fried chicken sandwich which was okay. The potato bun bread was good but I thought the chicken could be crispier and the chicken did not taste too fresh. Food was just like regular bar food. I'm dying to hear live music, even if it's one guy with a guitar fighting to be heard over the TVs. I'm also a sucker for a new beer to try and a great sandwich with delicious fries. Flagship checks all of my boxes. The grilled chicken sandwich was great, and even though he avocado slices were fresh on it. Nice order of well-cooked fries, too. Great pub grub! Beer selection is good, too, although this is not a tap house. Most of what I saw served was Miller Lite and mixed drinks. No problem for me. I enjoyed a nice fresh brew from Obscurity, served too cold and with zero head. Boo! Other than that, if you're still COVID-concerned you might want to take a pass on inside dining here. We got the cheese curds, 7/10 lacking so cheese okay flavor, the chipotle ranch severed with it had a kick but was the best part. Small portion though. Sriracha chicken sandwich was a 9/10 good size and flavor. Mac and cheese was decent very cheesy flavor about a 7/10. Flagship burger was also a good size 8/10 for flavor. Fries were also decent 7/10. Grilled chicken sandwich also had a lot of flavor and decent size 8/10. Tater tots were crispy and delicious 9/10. Worst part of the restaurant had to be the service, make sure you order everything at once or you might wait awhile. read more

This place is the go-to for a fun place to watch a game or just to sit by the opened windows on a delightfully sunny day. The prices are reasonable, and the food is above average for gastropub. From the adults to the kids, this is a place we all can agree on as a family (which says alot!). We are regulars. We enjoy the wings and wraps! They do not take reservations sadly, so it is harder to plan to visit if there is a big game on. We have waited on these occasions. However, the staff does their best to accomodate. Awesome place! I am not a soup person but I decided to try the tomato fennel soup because my friend raved about it the week before. It did not disappoint. This is a really cool place to go. The ambiance is completely modern and inviting. We have gone here for a night out, dinner, lunch, watching football games, etc. and have been pleased with our experiences every time. The wait staff is very friendly and service is efficient. In regards to the food, everything we've tried has been delicious! My girlfriend and I always start off with the cheese curds (pictured) and we thoroughly enjoy the steak sandwich. We recently tried the buffalo grilled cheese and the pulled pork grilled cheese--both were excellent! We weren't thrilled with the soup...but everything else was delicious. The seat are NOT comfortable at all. You seat yourself, which I don't care for, especially if it's busy and 2 people are holding a table or 2!, I ordered a bacon burger with Merkt's cheese. It was cooked at a perfect medium. The bacon needs to be cooked more. The fries weren't hot as well. A friend ordered the same thing and didn't eat the bacon. This place is outstanding! The food service was very quick despite a busy Labor Day and most importantly it was Effin' delicious. I got the Merkts Chedder Burger and it was so good. There are some games for kids if you need that service as well as a well maintained shuffleboard table. Whole restaurant did not a have a corporate feel to it (unlike the other popular one across the river which felt corporate AF) so that's good. Every time I biked past this place it seemed to be jam-packed. With its large garage door windows opened, people seemed to be pouring out of the place this summer. I couldn't resist anymore and decided to explore further. We came here for dinner with some friends and it was pretty busy, but we got a table right away. Flagship offers a few different seating areas. The front room is by far the most popular. With its large garage door windows, astroturf flooring and tables or swings (yes swings) to sit at, people love the ambiance in this room. It was full up when we arrived so we sat in the back area where more tables are available. FOTF also has a bar area for a third seating option. The menu here is Americana and includes a little something for everyone. They have a pretty extensive beer menu where you'll find whatever style you prefer, and a drink menu with plenty of house specials. Choosing a plate was tough due to so many great options but I went with the California Turkey Club. Good enough sandwich albeit a bit on the smaller side. They had Southern Tier's Pumking Imperial Ale on the menu which was an easy choice. We had the boys in tow and knowing they had 6-7 stand up video games we brought quarters so they could play. Before leaving I had to join them and get my Dig Dug on. Cool joint, prices are fair, service was excellent and the food and drinks were great. Cheers! read more

My husband & I checked out this evening this new sports bar & we both went with the grilled cheese sandwiches. I really wanted to try the poblano soup so it was nice they let me sub the tomato soup it comes with out for the poblano soup with no problem. The soup was super delicious & I think honestly I'd go back and order a bowl of it for my meal! My husband & I both loved the old school arcade games & we played a round of Big Buck Hunter- he destroyed me. I definitely need to brush up on my hunting skills. However I do feel it's worth adding that during the bonus round a group of three little kids came running up while I was shooting ufo's from abducting cows & they started shooting with the other player 2 plastic gun lol. My hubby probably slipped them a dollar when I wasn't looking to mess me up. Server was friendly & attentive & food came out quickly. Only reason not five stars is honestly I didn't think the grilled cheese was out of this world ($13 for a grilled cheese is a little high) but the atmosphere is super fun & service was great. As mentioned earlier the poblano soup was really delicious & I would definitely come back to just order a nice bowl of that for lunch. We had a delightful meal on the patio served by an outstanding employee named Dan, who was very sensitive to my wife's dietary issue concerns with available options. Food is delicious! I'm hooked on the same order every time I go there with friends. Sriracha Hot Chicken Sandwich, Truffle garlic fries, and we all split the funnel cake fries for dessert. The decor is cute, one side has a stage for musicians for the night to play with tables and even a few hanging chairs to sit and eat it for something different. The other side is more dim light and centered around a large bar. This is a loud bar/grill to go to. It's a hard place to go to with groups of more than four, because you can't hear them without leaning into the table. It's also full a lot. There's been several times where they would check my ID at the door, but there weren't any tables free and the group I was with both times had to leave. Overall, I love their food and the Location of Flagship; is it's right in down town St. Charles by the river. Had the pleasure of visiting for the first time for lunch today. The staff are phenomenal! from the moment we arrived they greeted us and were very friendly. They suggested an amazing bloody mary while they scrambled to get a table ready for us. The manager was awesome! we felt like VIP's. What a badass bitchin' ass bar man! The place is fuckin HUGE too & they have some rope swings for the youngsters to play on as well. I met the owner & he was a cool dude who even bought me & my battle buddy some shots for vets day. They had a plumbing issue for a while so patrons had to go around to the adjacent business to take dumps & piss but they fixed it pretty fast. I had some food too but I cant remember what it was cause i was having such a drunken wonderful time but I am CERTAIN it was an awesome meal. Lots of smoking hot bartenders & waitresses too & even quite a few of the lady clientele were super hotties, seems like this is the place to go & party at in Saint Chucks. Our orders were wrong, we were double charged and the manager did nothing to fix their mistakes. He was incredibly rude and yelling at us as if he was some punk that owner the place.
