I appreciate that this place has been around forever. One of, if not the first local brewery in flag. I have been here several times, but always feel let down. The patio is great. Service is ok. Unfortunately the beer is generally a let down. Served sorta cold, borderline flat, and always just a little off, like it's not quite fresh. Maybe that's just the style they are shooting for? Food is pretty run of the mill bar food, not bad, but nothing special. I wish I could give this place a better review, but I just can't. read more

This place is just alright. The food wasn't very good, just average. They had a few good beers on the menu, which was some laminated papers on a keyring. They also did not have blue curaçao, which one of my friends ordered. Service was decent. Simple little bar with some outside seating. read more

Exploring the Flagstaff breweries, via the Flagstaff Beer Passport, we looked forward to enjoying the varying ambiances & beers, but oof Flagstaff was the WORST experience. We arrived on a cold Friday night, ready to nestle into the bar area- the 'greeting staff' told us to sit anywhere, so we tucked into the back bar area- while musicians played in the crowded front bar area- Choosing a seat, the options had a very dive bar feeling- wonky seats around a keg that all wobbled- janky looking pew seating along the wall- not the coziest options- A guy came & asked if we wanted menus- we let him know we were just going to grab a few drinks- if we could have beer menus- and didn't need any food- he proceeded to throw a beer menu at me (laminated cards on a keyring) & said, "oh well here is just beer. I literally gasped catching it, not to be dramatic, but it was a very shocking experience- Further shocked, the beer menu he hent didn't match anything posted on the website- or the beer up on the bar menu- when I attempted to ask about the options- he told me "kegs kick, this is what you get". We came here at dark on a cold night in January. Walking in we were hit with a very bad odor. It was a mix of beer and Bo. We walked down to the low tables and thankfully the bad smell was only in the bar area. The server was very welcoming and sweet but VERY busy. It seemed like they needed another server for sure. Even though we had to flag her down numerous times we still tipped well because it clearly wasn't for lack of her trying her best. Management needs to step in and help her by hiring more or minimizing her section. The food was good but mid. My cheeseburger was great except the bun was cold which was so odd. The fries were cheap and tasteless. Half the wings were perfect w lots of meat and awesome flavoring but then half the wings were super spicy and overpowering even though we ordered mild. And interestingly we LOVED the carrots and celery that came w the wings! I know that's an odd thing to recommend but both of us said it was the best we had ever had hahaha! The few times I have gone in, the same guy has been working. A middle aged, skinny rugged white man. He looked at my ID for 30 solid seconds in the dark and makes a comment about how it could be fake. I turn on my phone flashlight because it's dark. He then angrily tells me that he has his own flashlight and calls me "sweetheart". I said "well it's not fake so maybe a source of light would help you see". It all seemed like a power trip. Maybe he didn't think a young lady like me could obtain a Commercial Drivers License but where in the world would I order a fake one of those? I avoid this place specifically because of that cranky man. read more

Come here if you like being treated horribly!!! Came in on a weekday and there were approximately 4 other customers. For some reason the guy behind the bar acted like opening our three bottles was a huge inconvenience. It was so unwelcoming and uncomfortable to even sit inside. Wish we could come back for the music but I would rather pay to get drinks at sosoba and listen from across the way than support whoever hired him. read more

10/10 I've come here a lot in the past year or so and I will say my favorite bartender is Alexander (everyone else is also amazing but Alexander stands out to me). They are always so upbeat and so kind. Every single question I have they have at least 3 answers for and multiple recommendations, safe to say they know their stuff and they've never been wrong with their recommendations. Super attentive, always checking in, also just making chit chat which I always appreciate. He is the reason I keep coming back to this bar! Might have been the best spinach and artichoke dip I've had in my life. The wings were also top 4? Something like that. So good. Bartenders were attentive even though they seemed understaffed. I went for a comedy show as a tourist in Flagstaff and the show was hilarious. They had a nice outdoor seating place as well for when the weather gets warmer. Can't believe I've been to downtown Flag so many times and never bothered coming here! It isn't the most conspicuous bar, but they had a DJ on the patio at night so we checked it out. It's nice to have options that aren't just loud clubs! I appreciate their late hours as a brewery--that's unique--and how they fancy it as a dive bar. Service was fantastic, and we stayed out here til last call. It was nice to sit down and have a good Farmhouse Ale. It was much more bold than I expected, for sure. Slightly grassy, slightly sour. And the Lager? Nice citrus finish, even if the carbonation didn't have the sort of sharp, refreshing bite you'd hope for come summertime. Their selection of product is pretty small, so expect plenty of outside beers on tap. If you want flights full of whimsical flavors or a well-thought culinary scene, there are probably better places nearby, but if you want something lowkey with a neighborhood feel, and you're not feeling snobby about your beer, FlagBrew is solid. read more

I did enjoy my crispy habanero sandwich, however the fries were lacking seasoning and I had to flag down the waitress for ranch. My friend didn't like her steak sliders. We came on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch, we sat on the patio, dogs are welcome on the patio. They don't carry any seltzers but have a good variety of vodkas flavored to mix with soda water or sprite. Service wasn't terrible a little slow but there was only 1 other table outside so it's kind of expected. That is kind of expected she was probably busy inside preparing for a busy time of dinner. I ordered the Poutine. Oh. My. God. It was really good! The fries are crisp outside like mashed potatoes on the inside and hold up well under the gravy! My Bf had a buffalo chicken sandwich he liked a lot it was more like tenders on a fresh ciabatta like bun. He said it was good. We have been here twice in a week. The beer is delicious, the food is out standing and the staff is exceptional!

Friday night and hardly anyone there. Uh oh. Stuck it out tho. Amber beer was good but warmish. Food sounded interesting but order was bland and not hot even tho it supposedly was just made. We had a great time last night here. My husband and I went out for a few late night drinks while visiting this weekend. It is a great location and walking distance from our hotel. I liked that we didn't have to worry about driving or having to get an Uber later. Location is good size and they even had dancing/music going . Service was good for the most part. They were very busy as it is the weekend of Halloween. One bartender was a bit rude to my husband and seemed very short and impatient. All in all drinks were good and prices were a lot better than some of the other breweries I've been to all over Arizona. read more

Lied to us over the phone. "You don't have to worry about the cold," is an exact quote. Told us the open patio had multiple heat sources to warm our family. All 4 heat lamps were broken. The wall heating is broken in multiple places. The one working one only warms the top of your head. The other location does not have a heated patio either, so we drove all the way here just to leave. read more

We came here on Saturday night for a drink and a bite. The outdoor patio looked absolutely perfect and inviting! Unfortunately, that's where the smokers go! I get that smokers need a place to smoke, but it's unfortunate that it ruins the atmosphere for everyone else. I thought the service was friendly enough but on the slow side (and they were not crowded). I was "meh" on the beer as well, but that's down to personal preference. The food was great! We had the bagna cauda - great to keep the vampires away - and the spinach artichoke dip. Both items were delicious and they each came with a good amount of bread, so the dips weren't left hanging! Two beers, two appetizers and a decent tip came to less than $45, so it was a good value if not the best experience. read more

Parking isn't bad on this Friday night in a college town. The Bitterroot ESB is light in body and loaded with hops. The menu is small. Wish it had more than finger foods and sandwiches. It is more of a pub than a restaurant. Love the sweetness of the bacon jam on the pub burger playing off the saltiness of everything else especially the fries. It is a wonderful meal of local brew and a well crafted burger. The pub is open until 2 am but the kitchen closes at 10 pm. read more

I am usually really lax In my reviews. Location was ideal and beautiful. Water was supplied in a communal water container, which was what-ever. My wife's can of hard seltzer was delivered without a glass to pour it in. I know, I know it sounds like I'm complaining however, even the dive bar would offer a glass dirty or not, I'm just saying. My drink came out and I ordered another after I finished while waiting for food. There was no discussion on price change of my IPA due to band being at the restaurant/bar ( will discuss later). Our waitress was in and out faster than you can say I have food poisoning due to my burger. She never offered a refill. I did ask for some mayo for fried. It came in a container the size of a mayo pack and a half (0.25 cents). The band starts at 10 pm which is fine. Once the bill came my same IPA I ordered twice was two different prices and mayo priced at 25 cents. I know it sounds as if I'm complaining but I am. The waitress did not explain anything about price change due to band starting at 10:00 pm and it was 8:23 pm at time of order. It the lack of customer service and lack of knowledge of prices at time of order. It's the transparent communication that makes or breaks a situation. I circled the prices and took the extra charges from the tip. Unfortunately, financial strain in training communication is not part of the CFO's responsibility. I did enjoy my burger though. It was good. Quality of Wendy's which I like as well, no better. My wife is unfortunately, projectile vomiting and toilet bound at the moment. I give the place due to the location of other fun things to do a 1/5 the other star is I hate being an asshole and not because the quality of serves deserved it. Thank you and I'm out. read more

Shockingly terrible experience. I brought my group of girls here celebrating my bachelorette weekend. When we walked in the front door I ask the employee at the entrance.. Zack if the patio was open to order drinks and sit. He was not making eye contact and struggled to answer. He appeared under the influence of something. He then told me that me and my girls had to leave... when I asked why he was not able to answer. We then turned to the bartender to ask her what was the issue as none of us were intoxicated. She also turned us away. We are a group of service industry professionals and hope that the management and ownership of this establishment is notified of the complete lack of professionalism and is turning away customers for no reason. read more
