I ordered dinner online for my husband, my daughter and myself. I customized each order like the website allows. I picked up the order and drove all the way home only to realize they didn't read a single thing and made the orders wrong. So I drove all the way back to ask them to remake it and I was told they don't have any more food because they close in 40 minutes. So I asked if you can't correct my order can you at least refund me. We aren't going to eat this food covered in sauce we asked to be removed. He asked me if I wrote what I wanted online "like I should have" I said yes, I did, I can pull up my order and show you and he said it didn't matter he can't refund me anyways. I have been going to that restaurant at least once a week with no problem. Today I ordered my normal Beef Shawarma Bowl to go with extra dressing asides. When I got to the office, I noticed that the bag was really wet so I took out all items from the bag. There was juice/ dressing all over at my desk. I look at the salad bowl since the extra dressings were not the issue. Salad was fresh meats was okay but too much dressing. I drained out the dressing and mixed the salad then tried it. Too sour that can't eat and had to trash it. I called to let them know. The cashier was so rude. Instead of listen what Customer has to say he asked " Did you eat it? I said"yes, I have to take a few bites that how I know it is way too much of lemon juice". He then said "you ate it so what do you want me to do?" I told him that I just want you to know how was the salad so you will be aware of it. Nothing really bothers me than the tone of the voice. He gave me the name and told me that if I want to get compensated, he will do it for one time. I handed up the phone on him. I have nothing but good intentions but I fell insulted. I've been to most of the Flame & Skewers in town. The California Ave. location is my favorite simply because it's bigger. While this Allen Rd. location is small, the service was very good. Robert took our order with a smile. We had the Chicken Swarma Plate with salad, rice, and hummus as sides. The chicken was very flavorful. The rice was cooked just the way I like it, moist and tender. The salad was good. I really enjoy the Persian cucumbers and the oil and vinegar dressing is tasty. Yes, it's small. The chairs are a little wobbly. The place is clean. I used the bathroom. It was well-stocked and clean. The food is good. Service is quick. We split that plate. We were a group of three. Came by on a Sunday afternoon about 3pm. No other customer at the establishment so no line. We ordered some food to share. Flamin Fries, Chicken Wrap, Sweet Potato Fries, Beef Kabob, and regular fries. Each kind of the fries tasted 3 stars worthy. Both the Chicken Wrap and the Beef Kabob were underwhelming. Beef Kabob was very dry. Chicken Wrap was not very tasty, and the chicken tasted old and dry. Very disappointing! On a positive note, the restaurant was clean. Ever since Chris started working there, I've noticed that they are never "out" of items and that the food is noticeably better and the place is well run. We were in town for the drag races and ready for dinner after eating food truck/fair food all day. Looking for something fresh and homemade. It looked like this place would fit the bill so we gave it a chance. Tommy greeted us and was friendly and happy to answer questions we had on the menu. I ordered the chicken wrap with garlic sauce and a side of tabbouleh and my friend ordered the chicken shawarma plate. The salad and tabbouleh came out quickly. Both were larger portions that I expected and were fresh and cold. A few minutes later the shawarma plate and my wrap came out. Again, very generous portions and steaming hot. The wrap was delicious and large enough that I saved half to take to the races the next day. I tasted my friend's shawarma and rice and it was great as well. Chris the manager checked on us several times to make sure everything was good and we didn't need anything. The next day I finished the second half of my wrap it was just as delicious cold right out of the ice chest. Later that evening when we were looking for dinner options, I mentioned that we should go back to Flame and Skewers. We had friends with us and they wanted to try it after our rave review of the night before. This time I ordered the chicken kabob plate with rice and hummus and salad. The dressing was fantastic and Chris told me it was homemade on site as was almost everything on the menu. The chicken and rice were both flavorful and the chicken was moist and tender. Our friends loved the beef kabob plates they ordered. The baklava was the perfect finish to the perfect meal. The place is small but clean. They were doing a brisk take-out business. My family and I enjoy eating at Flame and Skewers. My husband called in our order, two chicken shawarma bowls, a falafel plate and a side of sweet potato fries and hummus and pita. Food was ready fairly quickly. He arrived about 10 minutes after ordering and was greeted by a young woman who shared my order was almost ready. The employee was friendly. She explained there was a mix up on one of the sides for the falafel plate and offered extra tahini and garlic sauce as a substitution. The bowls were packed with chicken and tasted fresh. The falafel plate came with 7 falafels, rice, a side salad, fries and pita and tahini sauce. Lots of food for a good price. The fries (regular and sweet potato) were right out of the fryer and had a nice crisp to them, not undercooked at all. The only issue we had was the pita. It was a bit tough, dry and not very pliable. Overall though we enjoyed our food and will be back, sooner than later. read more

The girl that took are order was rude, her facial expression was like we were an inconvenience for coming in and disturbing her cell phone time. We ordered and had it to dine in. As we were eating her phone kept going off and she runs towards the restroom at least 3 times with one time her coming out and you can hear her having a dispute on a personal conversation.
