This location is wack. The workers are scumbags. I had a coupon for a free mini korean spicy chicken bowl that literally says is only valid at their location and when I tried to use it the pos cashier tells me it's only valid at the mission viejo location and the cooks in the back are laughing and talking to the cashier in Spanish which I can only assume went something like "ha we got him, we ripped him off and we're not gonna honor a coupon that was made for out store." So I point out that it literally says only valid at their location and they just double downed with their bs lie and said I still couldn't use it and I would have to talk to owner who wouldn't be in until 4pm if I wanted to try and use it. Obese, ugly workers who are probably miserable with their lives because they're so disgusting and have to see people that are better then them on a daily basis whether that's being conventionally attractive or financially better off than them. Came here at 2:00 PM with my boyfriend and we were told to come back in 15 minutes because the staff were taking their breaks. I recently had a rod taken out of my femur and am on crutches, but we waited in our car for over 15 minutes. When we went back to check if they were open again, the chef was still sitting at a table on his phone and told us they would "maybe" open in another 20 minutes. When I asked why, he said he was still on his break even though they had told us 15 minutes ago to come back. When the woman cashier came back she saw that we had been waiting and asked if we wanted to order, but when she went inside she sent us away AGAIN because the chef couldn't get off his ass and his phone to do his job. read more

I've never been to glame broiler before but I started to like it. The service is great and the front lady is very pleasant. Always smiling you can see it through her mask. Everytime I come she's either cleaning or keeping busy. It feels great to come here. The cook is also very sweet! They remember me when I come in and it's very pleasant place to eat. I received coupons for my office from this location and so I went into get the staff lunch. Oscar took a glance at my coupon and accused me of it being fake. He proceeded to "call his manager". After he decided that his manager was not going to be in til tomorrow. I asked him if he could help me with another coupon that isn't fake and he would not help me. There was no customer service at all and the fact that he could have accused me with a fake perforated coupon is ridiculous. He had also stated the coupon was for another location when the location was stated on the coupon and refused to look at it. I will be going into speak with the manager tomorrow to redeem my coupon as well compensation for inconvenience. Update: Went in and spoke to Diana. She was very nice. I love Flame Broiler. I used to have it at least once a week at the Laguna Niguel location. This location is lacking management, service, and quality. Chicken was overcook and blackened. The prices were WAY too high for what you pay for. They offer mini bowls which is wonderful, but you must pay the price of a regular bowl even if you don't want the beverage. So you get less product for the same price. No thanks. We waited a half an hour for our food, which we had to grab straight from the window since the poor front register woman had to go back to help the cooks because they were taking so long. The worst location ever! The most disgusting food I have had. We got two orders of the combo (beef/chicken). The food we buy is not free. I get that it's difficult to get workers these days and appreciate the ones that show up but at the end of the day, we also work hard for our money and I have expectations of edible food. The best part about this Flame Broiler is Diana! She is super friendly, always smiling, and a kind person. I've seen Diana have to literally do EVERYTHING at this location and she still manages to do it in a good mood. If anything they could do with hiring an additional person to help out during peak hours. Out of the flame broilers I've been to this one has the best taste. I've been coming here for years. Now that I live in LA I still swing by from time to time when I visit family (I don't even go to the one in my area ever!) and I'm always happy to see Diana. We ordered a Beef bowl and Works bowl. I tried mine first and the beef tasted rancid. It had a sour, musty taste. My friend tried her Works bowl that also has beef and agreed that the meat was stale or rancid. My friend returned hers and exchanged it for another beef bowl and it tasted just as bad. When I went back to tell the employee, there was no apology and I was basically told that I was wrong as she claimed she had tasted the beef and it was fine. Tried to blame it on the sauce which was nonsense as I tried the sauce separately and it was fine. As with many restaurants today, it seems as if at Flame Broiler, the customer is always wrong. After arguing with her for a while I asked for my money back. Still no apology but she did refund my money. No customer skills whatsoever. Receipt said "Diana" on it so I'm assuming that's who it was. Most likely the same person most on here have been complaining about. Bizarre how she hasn't been schooled yet in how to treat customers. I'll probably try emailing as well as one of the reviewers here did but I won't hold my breath for a response. No way I can ever return to this place as everytime I think of it now I'm going to think of stale, rancid beef. I come here once or twice a week and I've always enjoyed it here. I've been to bad Flame Broiler spots before and I am happy to say this is my favorite. I noted some of the other reviewers complain about the food quality and that's fair. My personal experience so far has been of consistently decent quality food. I say decent because, hey, this isn't fine dining, but it hits the spot. The staff - notably the lady at the cashier - has been always courteous and awesome with me. I keep coming back here because I like Flame Broiler. It may not be for everyone, but for a cheap, quick fix - you can't beat this spot. PRO TIP: They have some really crappy hot sauce now. It seems Flame Broiler is trying to promote their own brand of hot sauce in place of Sriracha. It's crap. Ask for Sriracha instead and they'll give it to you. read more

WORST customer service I have had at any restraunt in a long time!! The employee (a male mid 20s) at the counter took my 2nd sauce when I asked if I could exchange it for another of the other and then told me he couldn't do that (even though I've done this every time I have ever been to this location). Additionally, when this employee works at the font he NEVER answers the phone. It is IMPOSSIBLE to call ahead and order of he is working. I come to this location multiple times a week to pick up food for my family and my work. I placed a pickup Postmates order to your location on 8/12. I received a notification that my order was ready for pickup. I went to the location to get my order and the clerk named Louis said that there was no order under my name. He was rude, unhelpful and completely dismissive. He said "well you're gonna have to wait" and turned his back to me. He also blamed the app saying that it just sometimes didn't work. There is no excuse for this rude behavior. We got take out from The Flame Broiler a couple of days ago, and I was quite disappointed with it! we ordered the barbecue beef and chicken plate as well as the ribs plate.
