We came here before, but last night's experience was very poor. Hostess was colder than ice cube before seatting us, or when we walked by her leaving. By the way, it was pretty dead for dinner time(only 5 tables at most). Food was ok, but all of us had to hit the head half way. Only one waitress on our side, and she was so busy wiping and clearing dishes, she didn't refill our beverages until she was asked after she slipped the check to us when we weren't even done yet. It was less than an hour mind you. Also, charged full price even if there was a minor under 10 with us. Seriously considering not coming back. Just not feeling the love. read more

I'm Chinese, moved here from San Gabriel/hacienda heights area. Compared to the begets in that area; I was impressed and surprised at how nice it is and the food does not disappoint. It was not overly greasy, nor overly salty. Good variety and lots of healthy choices. Love the veggie selection! The carpet is CLEAN!!! The tables are clean!!! The decor are not dusty. First, let me start with letting you yelp reviewers know that I've came here a total of 3-4 times now since they've opened this location. The first time i walked in during lunch and i was a bit disappointed with being charged for "dinner" price since it was about 5-10mins prior to dinner. We told the lady up front that it was for lunch, but she said, "it's almost dinner". I wish they would honor the rates listed on the time you arrive, but we were starving so we decided to stay and give this place a try and i'm so glad i did, but it was bumpy before it got better. At first i filled up 2 plates, and not 1 item was fresh or flavorful and most if not all was tossed with our server on this first visit. All the dinner items were still not out and somehow we started to feel like it was unfair to have to pay for this "stale old tasting food" that was still lingering from lunch. I was starting to get upset, and almost decided to leave. Once dinner food was brought out, we loved every bit of it(other than the remaining lunch items)! So long story short, we love this place!!! Once the dinner items came out trust and believe it was a true game changer!! I saw a few staff members on their breaks also eating some of the delicious fried crab legs and one of them was even thoughtful enough to bring me a crab leg cracker after seeing me struggle a bit, which i was truly so thankful for. Lol Their sushi is also pretty good too, well for a buffet, trust me, it was good! Ever since then i've become a regular now, but learned quickly that i will never be coming here for lunch, because it could be a hit or miss with it being slow and food just sitting there for hours. I then decided to come here on Valentine's Day (yeah, that's how much i LOVE this place) and encountered a bit of an issue with something found inside my food, so i asked to speak to the manager in regards to the issue. Without hesitation the owner took care of us!!! This wasn't anything out of the norm and it happens, but i did feel the need to speak to management about this especially with it being a date night type of night, and of course left me not getting a chance to eat this item at all that visit, but regardless i still had many other options to eat that i love coming here for. I couldn't tell you enough how much i love this place regardless of the small hiccups i've had so far. Trust me, the food is GOOD(Dinner Time & especially on the weekend)!!! The sushi, sashimi, baby octopus(wish they always had this item available for dinner), crab legs, snow crab, dessert section is decent, and the cook to order steak is my go to here! Seriously, give this place a try if you're in the area. I used to go to Hibachi on Magnolia and Tyler, but this place tops it any day if you're in Riverside/Corona area. The staff has always been so attentive, and friendly here as of now, and that alone is hard to find these days!!! If you know, you know what i mean about this. This is the worst food I've ever had in my life. Took one bite and was insanely grossed out. The atmosphere was decent it's a buffet but was smelly. The waitress were kinda rude and the manager was extremely rude when we confronted them about not wanting to pay for food that was HORRIBLE. I will literally never eat here again I'm writing this in the parking lot because if I can save even one person from this nasty experience I want too. Maybe I'm not enough of a seafood lover to get my moneys worth here but I expected better for $25 with tax. The cream cheese wontons were crusty at the top. Sitting too long under the lamps. The fried shrimp, same thing. I didn't think the sushi roll pieces were fresh enough either. I did like the pepper chicken, broccoli beef and a couple other items that I think were more recently made. The seafood soup was pretty decent. Don't know that I really found any seafood in it though. Mostly tofu it seemed like. None of the deserts I sampled had much flavor. Overall, pretty disappointing. I was so excited to see this place open! When my granddaughter and I saw that it was opened... we got the family together, and we all went. We had a mixture of thoughts. My husband does not eat fish... he would have like more meat choices. My sister didn't care for the food at all. My granddaughter and I LOVED it! I do wish they had m more sushi choices. I would give a 3.5 star if I could. We (2 people) came here Sunday 2/19/2023 @ around 12:15 pm. $22.99 for weekend all day (dinner price during the week). We were seated immediately and gave our drink orders. I tried: The hibachi grill: ok I added onion, mushroom, Ribeye Steak(already seasoned with pepper), and minced garlic and handed it to the cook. I asked for medium rare. The steak was thin so it ended up being cooked all the way. The meat looked a bit grey. I don't think the grill was high enough for a good sear. The onion and mushroom carried the flavor. I went a second round and did sliced beef, onion, mushroom, corn and minced garlic. I asked for soy sauce and they added it when it was done cooking. I couldn't taste too much flavor. The corn tasted off to me. I am used to it tasting a bit sweet. I ended up adding some of a sugar packet, pepper and soy sauce to add more flavor. Perhaps I can try adding teriyaki sauce at the grill for better flavor. Baked shells with cheese: ok Red velvet mini donut: ok Orange cake: ok Ice cream in freezer: good Sushi: not good Kbbq meat: not good Beef broccoli: good Walnut shrimp: good but no walnuts Seaweed salad: good Pepper chicken: good Fried cheese wonton: good Service: great, they picked up our empty plates and refilled our drinks at reasonable times and frequency. This buffet is definitely a lot better than most buffets I've tried. They offer a variety of dishes at a fair price! I would recommend doing dinner only as they usually offer more fresh dishes since it's busier. They have hot dishes, desserts and fruits in the main area and along the wall, there's the grill station, sushi and seafood! They do have crab legs and surprising conch as well since I do not see many buffets offering that. The crab legs were bit on the saltier side.. wish they offered WARM butter for dipping which would've helped. I usually bring my own dipping sauces since most don't offer any. They also have ice cream cups that are stored in the freezer near the sushi and seafood station! Food was amazing went today 01/16 6:00PM place was full, staff was friendly and kind, kept coming back to table to refill our drinks & ask if we needed anything. We didn't have high expectations since there's so many negative reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. Variety for adventurous foodies. Don't forget to stop by the grill and make your own Mongolian stir fry, there's chicken, shrimp, steak and decent amount of veggies. We almost didn't go after reading the reviews but we're glad we went to try it ourselves. Some of our favorites were the shrimp boil, sushi, Mongolian, and fruit. It's clean. The wait staff are nice, friendly, and attentive. And I love the chocolate ice cream! I'm nothing close to a food critic. I just enjoy my food and it would be nice if I really do get to enjoy it instead of being disappointed. I don't mind paying for good food. Nothing is cheap nowadays. Anyways, most of the food I tried are either too dry (maybe overcooked) or too salty. I usually start with Crab Rangoon. They used really thick wonton wrapper. And it doesn't taste good. The fried chicken wings tasted like it was fried in old oil. It wasn't just the taste but the smell and it's a little bit over cooked. I love honey chicken so I had some. It tasted fine but I think they cut it too small so it seemed overcooked and dry and chewy. The beef broccoli was salty. The coconut chicken was pretty good but a little bit dry .The shrimp was ok. The Chinese broccoli seemed to have an after taste. The green beans is over cooked. I love their fries. The pork wonton is pretty good. Despite the weird review below about kids running around, this newly opened buffet has great food. The service was attentive and wait staff was always around to take plates and ask if we're doing ok. Since this establishment is still fairly new I'm sure more selections of food are to come. The ambiance is very similar to the previous establishment.
