Thank you Owner Memo for making this lunch spectacular! I came in with hubby for lunch around noon and there were plenty of seats available. The ambiance was lively with upbeat Spanish music with some cold drinks on this hot day! Hubby got the campechana and I got the ceviche tostada and some yummy rolls! The Campechana was very filling with around 8 shrimps and 3oysters, abalone, and octopus and more! The rolls are pretty big and the portions are above average! Definitely coming back to get the lemon roll with salmon and the monster Frankenstein with chunks of lobster!! Melt in your mouth yummy goodness!!

This is my go to spot for ceviche tostadas. Fresh and scrumptious! They do not taste fishy at all. The first time I ate here, I had to wash my clothes and hair because the smell permeated both So, just beware that you might smell like a fish market if you sit inside for an hour or two. The service is warm and friendly. Definitely a Corona favorite!

We ordered the Mojarra and I couldn't get a pic fast enough my husband demolished it. It was so good according to him lol. I ordered a fish taco which was delicious and the Sushi Ahi tuna tower which was fire! We will be back.

This is a local hidden gem. The fried fish will have you coming back for more. My only complaint is that they close early so I have to leave work early in order to make it on time

Wow that an amazing hidden gem. We came for dinner for the first time and it could not have been a better experience. We had no clue there was sushi also offered so that was a great surprise! We ordered ceviche and it was so refreshing. They have a house made salsa that paired with the ceviche perfectly. We ordered and then found a table luckily. Seating is limited so if there isn't seating next time I have no problem taking this to go! The quality of food was amazing and the staff is so kind. The sushi chef is incredible! The rolls are prepared with such precision and I cannot wait to go back. The shooting star roll was one of the best rolls I have had. I recommend everyone try this spot out! They truly have something for everyone.

This location was recommended by many die hard seafood lovers.! Not only do they prepare the best authentic Mexican seafood dishes like ceviche , aguachiles, mojarras ,cocteles and even shrimp or fish tacos ; they are also a seafood market offering fresh seafood sold by the LB (pound) to cook at home. My favorite dish is their botana vip and aguachile, so good! Order comes with sauces and tostadas everything u need to complete the meal . The establishment is small and typically busy on weekends but service moves fairly quickly considering everything is prepared fresh. I highly suggest calling ahead to place your order if you are going to pick up or in a hurry. This location also has sushi bar and serves alcohol but I have yet to try any of their rolls. I have bought fresh fish and shrimp a couple times now and they never disappoint! No fishy smells here , nothing fancy here just good quality seafood and delicious food!

Both food and Micheladas' did not disappoint.

The Mariscos were delicious and the Micheladas' were bomb! Ambience was welcoming. And the service was exceptional. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing. My family and I wanted to try out this place for a while since it came recommended by a really good friend of mine. We tried a little bit of everything because everything looked amazing as it was coming out for other people that were ordering. Definitely will be making us a go to spot.

We were blown away by this hidden gem! As you first pull into the parking lot, you'll question if you are in the right place. The faded window sign isn't very visible, but it does have the business name on it. Upon entering, it is set up like a fish market with a small seating area and a small sushi bar area. You order first before finding a place to sit. We ordered some fish tacos and ceviche tostadas. We grabbed our drinks from the fridge and sat at the sushi bar top. The sushi chef greeted us and asked if we needed anything. As we waited for our food, the kitchen started bringing out complimentary appetizers for everyone in the restaurant. It looked like a jalapeño popper, but it was filled with different types of fish, and the exterior was tempura. The appetizer was sooooo good! It was our first time there, so we asked the sushi chef about the restaurant and the menu options. He was very knowledgeable and made some recommendations for next time. He even gave us some of the Toro sashimi to try, and it was AMAZING. Our food finally came out, and it was excellent! The portions were large, and everything was delicious. We can't wait to come back to try out other menu items.

Officially slaps. It's legit diggable to where you wish you ordered more. We only had the fish tacos and the ceviche but I think if either of those are even slightly mid at a mariscos joint then I wouldn't return. Both were excellent! Big portions, fish was tender and perfectly fried with a big crunch, salsa was on point. The ceviche was also delish and tasted fresh. Food took only 15 minutes from the time we ordered. For 4 tacos and the ceviche it was $25 and that's something I can get with.

Second time visiting here and will continue coming here for some fresh seafood! I had the shrimp tacos to start with they were delicious with the toppings they come with and topped it off with some of there salsa they offer, and the Campechana was one of the best ones I've had from presentation to the flavor came with so many shrimp and octopus even the oysters I was astonished, with a michelada to go with that. Service was good you order your food first and grab your own drinks from there fridge and you will pay once your done eating and they offer a couple tables to sit in and dine at, this place gets busy so they're could be waits to be expected.

Yoshioishi Sushi & Ramen had solid reviews, so we decided to pivot and give it a try. First impression: the menu is extensive. It's one of those places where you almost don't know where to start. The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

We stumbled upon Rakki when we first moved to Chino Hills in 2023, and took a break from coming when our son was in the oven. It was definitely our go to Sushi spot when we had the energy to make it out there. We loved the various choices of nigiri, sushi rolls and even the appetizers. Shortly before they closed, the owner even gave us a complimentary yellowtail collar which was absolutely delicious, amazingly flavorful and super juicy (we never ordered this previously, since we always went with the AYCE option). The AYCE was very reasonably priced for what you got, and could be considered on the very cheap end, for quality of the food you got and options available. Rakki Sushi got high praises from our foodie friends who would visit us as well. The chef and staff were always super nice, they always came to check on how we were doing when they weren't too overwhelmed with the busyness, and we loved how super friendly they were. Our son loved the staff as well, and he always gave them smiles back in response to theirs. The ambience was more of a local/casual sushi spot, rather than somewhere fancy, which my wife and I greatly enjoyed since we like dressing comfortably in just t-shirts and joggers. The tables, seats, and utensils were always clean when we went there. The men's restroom wasn't the cleanest looking, but given the location it was understandable. Plus, we were there for the food, and not really to strictly use the restroom. We greatly miss you Rakki Sushi and hope you are able to come back one day!
