Tables were clean but small. I live two blocks away and kept seeing good reviews on Tiktok so I took the family. The food was just ok. My 82 year old mother loved the shrimp and went back several times for more. My nephew and I were not as impressed as my mom. The food satisfied our hunger and that's it. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The price was about $64 for three adults which I didn't think was bad. I doubt I'll go back but it wasn't a horrible experience.

All you can eat buffet located in Flatbush Brooklyn, ny. This place didn't disappoint everything was delicious & tastes fresh. The servers were on top of refilling the food once they see it's low they restocked quick, once they see your drink is low they refill your cup. They also were quick with removing plates your finished with. The ambience was nice and it was very spacious. The star of the show was the seafood boil. It was seasoned well and had the right amount of spice. For just $11.99 at lunch time which is 11am-2:50pm mon-Friday you can enjoy a variety of endless food. Kids are $6.99 if 3ft-4ft & $8.99 if 4ft-5ft For dinner time 2:50pm until closing you can eat for just $16.99. Kids 3ft-4ft $8.99 4ft-5ft $11.99 All day on Saturdays it's $16.99 Kids 3ft-4ft $8.99 4ft-5ft $11.99 Sundays they have all you can eat snow crab legs $18.99. Kids 3ft-4ft $8.99 & 4ft-5ft $12.99.

This restaurant is very sanitary. I felt comfortable eating here. The staff is very on top of things . The service is good and the food is good . Great for when I'm craving some good Chinese food . I also enjoy the desserts.

Extensive food choices for a saturday. There's seafood boil(crawfish, shrimps, mussels, corn, potatoes) on one tray for grabs, along w fried shrimp, baked scallops, mussels, and im pretty sure fish too. One of the signs says sunday there's snow crabs! Exciting. Hibachi is also included with your buffet experience, you choose your meat and vegetables, nd they grill it for you by the cold dishes section. There's ice cream too for you at the end. Really quite a lot to have! Sushi, rice, lol mein, beef broccoli, chicken broccoli, general tso chicken, honey chicken, string beans, jello, fruits, spareribs, fries, chicken nuggets.....

My friend and I were so hype to try this Chinese buffet! Mostly because it was reminiscent for us since we haven't been to a Chinese buffet since we were kids lol! However, Flaming Grill was pretty good in our opinion. The restaurant is huge with lots of seating and is very clean! I've posted pictures of the multiple stations filled with the various food options. There's the fruits/desert section right up front, as well as fried foods like crab rangoon (could've been better, plenty of filling but not warm so it the filling was very smooth/creamy) egg rolls, and chicken or even savory dishes like chicken/beef and broccoli, lo mein and fried rice and lastly a seafood station with crab boil and salmon or shrimp dishes. My favorite station hands down was the hibachi + sushi area which is included in the buffet price! I ordered the chicken and shrimp lo mein hibachi with mushrooms, onions and broccoli drizzled in soy + teriyaki sauce & chili sauce for an extra kick of spice. This was my favorite dish because it was made to order, hot and super tasty! Each of the sushi options were really good too and had wasabi paste, soy and spicy mayo sides too. Lastly they also have a deep freezer filled with popsicles and ice cream cups. I will say I love when buffets have the soft serve machine instead but I definitely grabbed a popsicle to complete the experience lol. Overall, for $11.99 we definitely left full and happy with our nostalgic experience.

At such a low price point, I have to give this buffet at least 4 stars, though the food quality and variety might be a solid 3 stars. For less than $20pp on a Saturday night for AYCE food you really get what you pay for: mediocre Chinese-American food, some American food, some seafood, a handful of sushi options and a hibachi grill. The food quality was okay, matching the low price tag. I enjoyed the fried chicken wings and sushi was decent. However I think there was only one sushi chef rolling out sushi, so at prime dinner time they seemed to be struggling to keep up with the demand. We were a bit disappointed that there weren't crab legs and that the huge pieces of crab that they did offer were difficult to eat without any tools. I remember the old Flaming Grill located on Nostrand had a much larger variety of food so I may be just comparing this new spot to the old one. Since this one is brand new, the interior was pretty modern with loud music blasting. As for the food... you're basically going to eat AYCE chinese takeout + seafood boil.

Ice cream desert , after eating two plates of delicious Chinese Food at this buffet !

Pretty Cool Buffett, I attended a repass here for J.N.S It was the person's initials who passed away, paid by the family Members of the deceased person ( There was reserved section for the Repassed guest members, My condolences to the family members again ). I always loved fried rice from Chinese restaurants. This all-style Asian fusion food buffet restaurant, with limited plate offerings you eat, until you get full, My mother did have to run to the restroom afterward. Still, I'm not sure because too many people's hands touched the potspoons or the food wasn't room tempetaurized ( I always carry hand sanitizer with me ), but any the food was good . i wouldn't mind coming back, its in a busy commercial area with Kings Theater being right across the street, and Burlington Department Store, Food Bazaar Supermarket, Old Navy. And walking distance To Target on Church & Flatbush Avenue and other stores on that strip !!!!! Very Convivent by the MTA transportation: Subway: 2,5-Train. Church Avenue Train Station or Beverlry Road Train Station & B, Q-Train.Church Avenue Train station or Q-Train. Beverly Road Train station. Bus: B35,B41,B44,B103,B49,BM2,B12,Etc buses

The food is mainly Thai fusion, and everything we ordered was delicious! I got the Singapore noodles with beef. It was very flavorful. We also ordered the Mongolian beef, which was very tender and delicious. We also ordered shrimp dumplings to share. They were more like shrimp shumai, but they were good as well. Their drinks pack a punch, but they taste great! I got the Tropical Sunset, which was very sweet and refreshing. Service was quick and attentive. While it was my first time here, I was really pleased with my experience. I would definitely go back to have a celebratory dinner - maybe a birthday, special occasion, or fancy night out.

The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful clean, welcoming, and we were seated quickly. Our waiter was pleasant at first, which made us excited for the evening and hopeful for a great experience. We started with the platter combination along with two frozen rum punches and a lychee lemonade. Unfortunately, the drinks were disappointing from the start. The rum punches were not frozen as requested, and when I brought it to the waiter's attention, he appeared unaware and stated that the machine "must not be cold as yet." What was disappointing was the lack of communication. Had we been informed beforehand, we could have simply ordered another drink. The platter combination also missed the mark. Everything tasted overcooked, and the wings seemed overly refried, making them hard and unpleasant to eat. For our main courses, I ordered the Thai shrimp fried rice, my younger daughter ordered the Singapore noodles with chicken, and my other had the chicken and broccoli. Sadly, the food quality did not match the beautiful atmosphere of the establishment. My fried rice had such a strong egg smell that I could not eat it at all. The Singapore noodles and chicken with broccoli were served warm instead of hot and fresh. What made this more disappointing was that this dinner was meant to be a special birthday celebration with my daughters. La Chai has the appearance and atmosphere of a restaurant with high standards, but the food quality, temperature, and attention to detail did not reflect that standard during our visit. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously because the restaurant has great potential, but consistency and food quality matter just as much as ambiance..

We ended up at our neighborhood buffet, which has been around since my high school days. There's something nostalgic about walking through those doors again. I'd fully planned to snap pics and do a proper foodie breakdown (charged my phone and everything!), but once we were seated, all bets were off. The food? Not five-star, but it's fresh--and that matters. The high customer turnover keeps the trays rotating constantly, so nothing ever feels like it's been sitting. The fruit station gets points for presentation--everything looked washed and vibrant (though I gave a few pieces the side-eye just in case ). For under $30, it hit the spot. Not a gourmet experience, but perfect for a low-key, satisfying outing. It's nice to have a go-to place that's stood the test of time, and still delivers on value.

That was misleading and frustrating. What made the experience worse was the customer service. When I politely asked the gentleman at the front if there would be more crab legs coming out, he responded with a rude attitude and was very disrespectful. As paying customers, we expected better communication and professionalism. Overall, the food selection did not match what was advertised, and the poor customer service left a bad impression. I hope management takes customer concerns more seriously moving forward."

Above all, the fish quality and freshness is excellent and the nigiri felt especially authentic (not too much rice, sizable cuts of fish done in the traditional style). The akami and hamachi belly were particularly great. The toro scallion and king salmon crunch hand rolls were also favorites. Our opinions were more split on the spicy tuna crispy rice (I loved, husband was more lukewarm) and dumplings (obviously very freshly prepared but quite fried). The overall ambience is airy, quiet and calm and service was warm and fast. We would have loved to try the cocktails as they sound really interesting -- next time!

The signature roll set had an assortment of interesting and unique rolls ranging from truffle to mango- my fave was the New York crunch w potato crisps on top. The tuna crispy rice was also a bit different- served as a tartare w crispy rice chips for dipping. Very crispy and tasty though! Service was super attentive and very welcoming. Definitely will be coming back if I'm in the area.

The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious. I even tasted a hint of salted egg yolk mixed into the egg mixture friefried up with the rice that signature crispiness with the little saltiness.... fantastic. The salt and pepper wings were different than the ones i'm accustomed to though the flavor was amazing. It didn't have the fried garlic, peppers, chilis, and onions that i'm accustomed to being in the dish. They were still flavorful, juicy and crisp and I could tell they cooked them fresh. That was much appreciated. I ended up taking half of my food home because I was stuffed.Thank you Msm Ellen and the Crown Garden crew for a tasty solo dinner.
