Honestly we're not major fans of sushi in NYC being from the island, it's hard to compare. This was about a year ago we came in on a whim. The 3 roll Sushi lunch combo pretty decent. Good quality fresh ingredients. The miso soup (not pictured) was very good as well. The only draw back was the tuna was in bits not a solid piece. Rates 8/10. The house salad was a huge disappointment. Baby corn broccoli asparagus carrot cucumber tomato and lettuce. Not at all what I expected. Looks like it was made from whatever extra veggies were available. Maybe they were trying to give you more variety for the price, but I doubt that. The dressing was really good though. After reading multiple glowing reviews for this place, decided to give it a try and ordered through UberEats. Despite it's being a Friday night order was prepared in less than 30 min and everything arrived in perfect condition and was very well packed. Food tasted great-miso soup was hot &flavorful, Edo Pizza was freshly made & delicious, special rolls had plenty of fresh fish and other good stuff. Only 1 small complaint or rather a note which will not spoil my review-Spicy Salmon salad that we got, was more like a salmon sashimi on a bed of shredded cucumbers covered with a spicy mayo. It wasn't exactly what we expected but they used a good quality ingredients and we still enjoyed it a lot so no biggie. I must've walked by this place a million times and never knew how fresh and delicious their food was. It's Asian fusion so it's not just sushi. So far my favorites are the gyozas and the shrimp pad Thai. The Edo flower has lobster salad, salmon and mango and had great flavors. Important to note that this dish is an appetizer and therefore comes with four pieces. Really good nonetheless. The shrimp pad Thai was surprisingly flavorful, fresh and terrific and definitely quenched my pad Thai craving. They included a generous portion of big fresh shrimp. Previously, but not pictured here, I have also tried their spicy tuna tacos and California roll. Both were really great, especially the spicy tuna taco, which I will include in my next order. It was really unique and loved the addition of guacamole to the dish. Great mix of flavors here. Their delivery is quick, polite and on point and I will definitely be ordering again soon. Well, I gotta say that this is right now my #1 sushi spot for delivery/pick ups.. First of all the rolls are tasty. And I trued a lot of sushi spots. They have this crazy deal (buy 2 special roll and get 1 free). And we are keep ordering, because of this deal)) Second of all the quality of rolls is awesome. Delivery time is what promised. Spicy mayo is actually a spicy mayo. Most of the places where we used to order from has spice mayo (but it is not spicy at all). Edo is very poor and disgusting. The place is not clean and the food is even worse. They almost never clean their containers just re-fill spicy tuna, salmon or yellow container. Fish is not fresh they used 4-5 days sometimes a week which not safe to eat for raw fish. When food accident drop on ground Eric (owner) just pick up and re-use the fish, even like bottle of mayo when bottle almost finish flat Eric use his mouth to blow bottle so he can refill bottle of mayo. If costumers get sick this is the reason. For a restaurant that dabbles in three different, though similar, cuisines, they did a great job. The atmosphere was relaxing, with soft music in the background. The lighting was perfect- at least when I went there to eat, there wasn't blue lighting as seen in some of the pictures. And most importantly, the food tasted amazing. Starting with appetizers, we ordered the Ika Maruyaki( BBQ squid) and the sweet potato roll. Personally I loved them. The squid was soft and not chewy. I hate when it takes forever to gnaw a piece of squid. The sauce was tasty and had plenty of flavor. The rolls were like heaven. I understand that some people may eat the roll for the crunchiness around the sweet potato, but I absolutely loved the rolls here. They seem to emphasize the sweetness of the sweet potato more. The potato was soft and had a hint of crunchiness. Definitely didn't skimp on the potatoes and add a lot of the fried stuff. For the main course, we had the pineapple fried rice, the mango fried rice, the beef negimaki and the chicken udon soup. Mango fried rice turned out to be just the pineapple fried rice but with mangoes instead of pineapples. The fried rice was moist and had plenty of flavor. The mangos and pineapple were exceptionally sweet. The beef was tender and added to the scallions inside, it really enhanced all the flavors. Finally, the chicken udon was well done. The chicken wasn't dry and the broth was refreshing. The service was okay. The food took a while to come. I was gonna deduct a star because it was unusually long, but they made up for it by serving us on-the-house edamame and Kani salad while we waited. read more

After seeing a recommendation for the tacos app, I decided to order lunch from here today. I got the spicy tuna tacos app, and the sushi regular meal, which was 7 pieces of sushi and tuna roll. Those tacos are AMAZING and I would go back here just for them alone. As for the sushi regular meal, fish was fresh, but the fish to rice ratio on the sushi pieces was way off, and the fish was very thin in comparison to the rice that it was on (see picture of fish and of leftover rice). Overall, good and fresh, and I will definitely order again to have those tacos, but maybe will try some rolls next time. read more

I order takeout from this place at least twice a week. Sushi is always fresh and the food always comes piping hot to my door. My go-to is the Thai basil fried rice with shrimp. It has just the right amount of spice and is bursting with flavor. My boyfriend gets the mango Thai fried rice that has mango, imitation crabmeat, shrimp, calamari and scallop. I'm not a fan of fruit in my rice or any savory dish at that, but the mango is so juicy and adds a nice flavor to the rice. We always do half and half because I love that dish, as well. read more

They really are nice and try to be as good with service as other big sushi places nearby ( Mitsoushi and Chikurin) , but not quite there yet. The good things are the huge tv showing soccer games now and the fresh foods and the place is less crowded than some so you can have a peaceful lunch. The ikura was one of the best in the area and salmon rolls were awesomely fresh and almost sweet. I really recommend the fried chicken wings- yes that's simple but they make it so fragrant and tender and the portion is great for the price. They definitely can be less pricey though. read more
