They have some small decorations here and there throughout the changing season but not much that take spaces. The temperature inside dining area always warm and warmer, which is comfortable, except if you need a restroom check, it's always cold there. The restrooms also clean most of the time. The buffet food area are the amazing part! They, the restaurant, always check on each food containers and refill anything that's looking less full than the container. All food are served hot, warm cool or cold as they supposedly serve and most importantly all are fresh food from the kitchen. The hibachi part also an amazing addition for the buffet, they can cook mostly anything and taste delicious. The sushi part also has a lot of options and all plates always filled with ready to eat sushi. Lunch and dinner menus are different, more premium food are available during dinner time, like coconut shrimps, seafoods from crawfish - crabs - muscles - oysters also steaks and prime ribs. I recently visited this Chinese buffet and was unfortunately very disappointed with the experience. While the variety of food looked appealing at first, most of the dishes I tried were cold, which really took away from the overall quality and enjoyment of the meal. A buffet should have fresh, hot food readily available, and that was not the case here. In addition, the lack of attention to maintaining proper food temperatures made it seem like items had been sitting out for too long. I had higher expectations, especially for a buffet setting. The cook at the hot station use the same utensils on raw food and Cooked food. this can really make someone sick and should be avoided at all cost. The grill was not wiped or cleaned in between so if you had any food allergies, it was not a place to obtain food. but the same, you get what you pay for is definitely accurate here the price is pretty low, but you're not getting top quality food and or service. I went here on New Year's Day and I was expecting it to be crowded but to my surprise it wasn't. For the price of $12.99 for lunch and $17.99 for dinner the food was good and there were many food options. I paid $17.99 because dinner price was all day on New Years on normal days lunch ends at 3.30pm excluding the weekends I believe. I especially like the first plate I put together. I was there for about 1.5 hours and you are allowed to dine for 2.5 hours. I had desert too but it's not included in the photos and even though I did like the food I did not like the desert options and what I did get was subpar. The overall ambiance is below average. The restaurant could be cleaner and better set up and decorated. The service was subpar too. I know it's a buffet so it's not too expected that they provide great service but I've experienced better service at other buffets. I went here with my family yesterday and we were there for less than an hour I would say maybe 45 min. When we were leaving we left a $12 tip and the waitress proceeds to say out loud "this is too little my friend" and kept saying that we tipped her too little, as we were walking away we could hear her and other waitress talking about my family, Which me and my family found very rude. You should not be complaining about the tips to the customer out loud and talking about a customer, that isn't ok imo. They have very poor customer service which is weird because most of their food isn't even good for them to be acting like that, the only good thing is the honey coconut shrimp I believe that's what it's called. Anyways poor customer service and food is fine on a good day. Lady at the front had me waiting 20 minutes for my order and when It was finally ready she made me walk across the restaurant to check with a manger to make sure I wasn't stealing the food. When I was showing the manger proof she was extremely rude as she was sitting on her phone she demanded I get closer to her to show her that indeed the order was mine. It was ridiculous once I became frustrated because I didn't understand why the hostess didn't do this during the 20 minutes I was waiting . I stopped by at this restaurant after getting my hair done nearby. For $12.99, you can eat crabs and other seafood, Japanese hibachi and sushi, many many assortments of barbecued or grilled meat that's tender and the list goes on. I was surprised to find out how everything was fresh and none of the items were over cooked or over baked due to the steaming heater. I feel really hungry again now thinking about the restaurant. This was the most horrible dining experience I've had in recent memory. The food tasted like the chef was seasoning everything with a hearty breath of cigarette smoke. Everything tasted of cigarettes, except for things like the individually wrapped ice creams in the freezer. The buffet itself is messy and mislabeled; for instance, under a label reading "Garlic bread" they'd served whole boiled crabs. Then came the bill, which is to be expected; but being billed for food that was inedible definitely put me in a sour mood. The charge was $20 per person, so the total for my boyfriend and I came out to $40. That's $40 for: Two buffet plates (not eaten, due to cigarette flavor), a glass of water, and a pot of tea. I mentioned complaining and the staff was mysteriously scarce for until my bf produced his card and they arrived quickly to snatch that up without hearing further words. If we go into ambiance, I'll tell you this: It's pretty much the same as any other cheap Asian buffet. I am out of town on business and decided to have Chinese food. The fist issue is they are doing some construction and the place was very difficult to find. Fresh alive worm is included on the price! I wished I could attach the video on here, it was so cool!! That worm was moving around on my oyster! I told manager and he don't even say sorry. He said that worm is harmless, many customers are complaining about that worm so he searched online and it is harmless and safe to eat so I can pick them off and just throw them away and eat that oyster. What a genius, I thought that worm was going to attack me. They recycle crab crackers without washing them. I ask for carb cracker and they give me a dirty crab cracker from the next table, that already used by other customers.. Waitress wiped the crab cracker with dirty towel and handed to me... The last straw for me is when an employee left the bathroom without washing her hands.
