(My comparison, BTW, is to a restaurant we enjoyed in Ithaca New York that made Kung Pao with peppers that would flay your face from the inside if you dared to eat one. Modern Asia's didn't even tickle, making it a let down). I ordered Seafood Combination Chinese Yellow Curry, a new dish for me. It was yummy. Described as one-pepper spicy on the menu, it had less heat than the Kung Pao, but the curry sauce had layers of flavor. It featured shrimp, scallops, and calmari plus a wonderful mix of peppers, onions, and other veg. All were nicely (crisply) cooked, even taking into account the Door Dash delivery time. I really enjoyed it. Next time I may ask for a bit more heat, but as it is, I hoovered up every morsel. Try it - you'll like it!

The curry rice is mostly consisted of rice, but the portion size was pretty big overall that you might still have some rice left over to take home.

A buffet should have fresh, hot food readily available, and that was not the case here. In addition, the lack of attention to maintaining proper food temperatures made it seem like items had been sitting out for too long. I had higher expectations, especially for a buffet setting. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will not be coming back again. I hope the restaurant can improve by ensuring food is consistently fresh and served at the proper temperature.

However the "seasoning" was in the mildly spicy remoulade, which was served on the side. We also ordered a broiled seafood platter with sides of broccoli and twice baked potato. The hubs ordered char-grilled pork chops, grilled asparagus, and potato au gratin. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasty. We really enjoyed everything. Regarding ambiance, the dining room looks a bit formal with its white table cloth and dim lighting. However, everyone dressed casually - jeans, shorts, etc. This made for a very relaxed atmosphere.
