The woman I asked, who I later learned was the owner, actually ignored me then directly refused. Her attitude was bad from the start of our interaction. They got the orders wrong, charged me the wrong amount and I didn't even say anything because things happen- but the bag was the cherry on top. To spend $70 and have a simple request for a 0.10 cent bag refused was pretty insulting. I got out of there as quick as possible and will not return! Hope this helps someone else.

We ordered fried calamari (served in stick form, not rings; weird but tasty), really nice tempura, and Ying Yang shrimp (the spicy may sauce was OK, but the wasabi sauce was killer!). For mains we focused on: sushi. Lots and lots of sushi. The rolled sushi menu is very long; the sushi (actually nigiri) and sashimi menu not so much. Nothing on the menu described how big the portions were so the 'dults each ordered a several different selections, both rolls and sushi. This kiddies ordered ramen, and Spousal Unit got Drunken Noodles with Chicken along with a sushi roll. Turns out the rolls were HUGE so we overordered dramatically (pro tip: ask in the future). Everything was fresh and tasty. My only quibble was that the Spider Roll appeared to be fried surimi (artificial crab) not soft shell crab. How could I tell? No legs, baby! We rolled out stuffed, with a doggie bag full of sushi for Daddy Dearest's second dinner. The price was very reasonable, and the quality far better than Lantern Sushi (but not as good as Sushi Nomo or Lazy Fish). Middle-Oldest Grand Daughter's birthday dinner was a success - and I'm already looking forward to next year's!

She said the peanut sauce had spice but wasn't too spicy (she's 12). The ginger dressing for the salad was really good, too. The spring rolls weren't a favorite, but they're a nice textural contrast. So, even if you're not in the mood for ramen, you should still stop by. Service has never been disappointing. Our most recent visit was fantastic, as always. A buffet should have fresh, hot food readily available, and that was not the case here. In addition, the lack of attention to maintaining proper food temperatures made it seem like items had been sitting out for too long. I had higher expectations, especially for a buffet setting.
