Food was good but unfortunately they were sweeping while people were still eating. This is a bit unsanitary. Overall, it was ok, unable to give it a "5".

Food was good, usually well cooked and overall clean place. Service was buffet...it is fast, low conversation, not so friendly but still very good. Ambiance was loud, crowded, and busy. Food was always being rotated, and the sushi is the kicker for me.

I'm not normally a fan of buffet restaurants, but my mum convinced me to visit Flaming Grill because they have seafood and sushi. For a buffet, it was not bad! Especially for the price. The quality and variety are better than that of similar establishments. That's why I'm rating it a 4 instead of 3, in the category and for the more than reasonable cost - because you really cannot complain for all that you're getting for $20 ($14 for Mon-Sat lunch but with a more limited selection, and discounted pricing for kids), including seafood like crab & crab legs, oysters, mussels, shrimp, sashimi, and even lobster. There are about 10 different stations and a made-to-order Mongolian BBQ grill, plus desserts and ice cream. I've only gone on the weekend and the food trays were always being replenished. No, the food is not going to be the greatest or prepared with finesse, and the sushi is below average, but as long as you manage your expectations and understand this isn't the buffet at Wynn Las Vegas, you'll enjoy it and find something you like.

Asian buffet in Newburg! The food is hit or miss! Not bad for the price! Location: It is located in Newburg, huge parking area. Interior is a typical asian buffets. Service: the staff were nice, they are very attentive to get our plates. Food: The food is hit or miss. I personally like their hot food section. HOT FOOd SECTION: typically all of it is delicious. The food selection is a lot. I personally like the seafood, sausage and the egg tarts. SUSHI SECTION: this was the worst part of the buffet. Even though it is prepared on the spot but you can notice that the fish that were used on the sushi/sashimi are old. You can just tell by the color of the fish. DESSERT: huge selection of cakes, fruits and ice cream. They are mass produce so don't expect good cakes. I love the ice cream tho! Price rating: 5/10. To be honest the price is not bad for the buffet. $20 for lunch. I will definitely come back here and give them another chance. Get the egg tarts!

I came to Newburgh to meet with family and we just happened upon this buffet. It was surprisingly really good. The buffet is quite large with sushi, hibachi, and the typical chinese food selections. You can do take out by weight but we decided to dine in. We were there around 7pm dinner rush and we were served by two really helpful waitresses who were very attentive and friendly to our kids. All the food was fresh and hot. My husband enjoyed the lobster, steak, and friend chicken wings. I enjoyed the hibachi fried rice, black pepper chicken, sautéed mushrooms, and teriyaki chicken. The buffet had kid friendly options as well. It was a good experience. I would return.

I haven't been here in a while & they have updated their buffet line area. It looks great! The plates are now kept under each buffet hot area. The food was so fresh & tasted EXCELLENT! I forgot to take more pictures of my plates due to me being so into the food, LOL. My server was great & stayed onto drink refills . The bathroom could use some attention but other than that it, everything was great!

The green beans was the only thing I enjoyed.

No wonder why this Chinese Buffet has the worst reviews ever. My family and I wanted to go to a Chinese buffet place before heading home. We decided to choose this place, we'll make a worse decision ever. The majority of the food was cold by the time you went up and got the food and then carried it back to your table. Another thing was there were a lot of bones in my food, which I did not appreciate. The only food that I really enjoyed was the greenbeans with garlic very delicious. Other than that, just run from this place. I am sure you'll be able to find better buffets. A huge turn-off that I did not like was when we were leaving the waiter said oh the tip is not included in the bill , so you will have to leave one.""

Lunch date with mom, she loves this place. Food always fresh and well prepared. I Haven't been here since the pandemic, though as I said mom has. What can you say about this buffet, they sushi, Cantonese, Italian and American cuisine, so there's something for everyone's palate. Lunch prices are reasonable at $13.29 p/p.

This place was okay, not bad for the price. I wasn't a fan of the sushi as it could of been less rice on the roll, overall it's a okay spot.

What it does lack, however, is a standalone boba shop. While Asahi is, first and foremost, a poke restaurant, it does offer a selection of boba teas and slushies. The weather had just turned from dreary cold to summery hot, so I was craving my favorite Asian drink. After some hand-wringing (I couldn't decide which one to get), I finally settled on an iced strawberry tea with milk foam. I wasn't confident in my order, but all my anxieties allayed at first sip. It was delicious! The boba was soft, the strawberry flavors came through strongly without tasting artificial, and the milk foam added a complex layer of creaminess and saltiness that elevated the drink altogether. Even my husband, who's not much of a boba drinker, thought it was great (and kept stealing sips). If you're in Beacon and you're suddenly hit with a hankering for boba, try Asahi.

When you walk into Yobo, you are greeted by a large portrait of Ms. Rocky. She used to walk around the dining area to ensure every meal was up to par, and she always entertained us as children. She is missed dearly. The ambiance is always stunning - you are truly transported to a different time. The food is consistently a 10/10. They offer traditional Korean dishes alongside a fantastic fusion of everything else. Their portions are generous and always come out piping hot. For appetizers, I highly recommend the egg rolls and crab rangoon (easily the best in town). For main dishes, the spicy nutty chicken, SiWoo Duck, and any of their steamed buns are incredible--but honestly, you can order anything on the menu and it will be amazing and you will mostly always go home with extras. Seasonal options are available and if the pumpkin soup is on the menu, get it. You will be sorry if you don't. Their drink menu is also extensive, featuring seasonal options that never disappoint. When we want to eat out, this is almost always our go-to spot. We love the owners, the entire staff, and the food always hits the spot. Thank you, Yobo, for years of great experiences.

When I was growing up, restaurants had unique theming and quirks vs. the same pinterest-inspired design tricks that you see today. What looks like an unassuming Japanese style rectangular building on the outside is nothing but inside. You are immediately transported to a (somewhat tacky, in a fun way) Japanese home on the inside with those late 1970s vibes. There are water features, like a small Koi pond, and a waterfall inside, which is full of fake cherry blossom trees and a dimly lit scene, complete with purple Christmas lights. Each nook and cranny is a little different and there are tables and booths set throughout, which are meant to put you in your own little corner of this interesting world of a cartoonish Japanese village. The food can be hit or miss, depending on your order and the delightful cheesiness of the decor matches the menu ... with a lot of classics from the 1980s, including American Chinese/Polynesian inspired appetizers. The eggroll here is the best I've ever had. It's enormous and freshly made. It's not the frozen and fried kind ... you can actually see the soft inner-egg later within its fried shell. It's full of chopped pork and seasoned perfectly. It comes on its own silver warning tray and is more the size of a small burrito than anything you'd pull out of a white cardboard container at a traditional Chinese restaurant. Get the eggroll. The tid bit platter is cool ... retro. The menu states that the crab Rangoon are the original recipe from Trader Vics, where the dish was invented. They are smaller than a traditional crab Rangoon, as we know them, and packed with a much more garlicky taste in their creamy filling. The sliced pork is not the dyed red rubbery strips we are used to ... but actual sliced pork with a nice BBQ taste, even with little sauce used. The fried shrimp was not my favorite, dry and bland. The main courses have a lot going on. Sauces, meat, vegetables. They are pretty big and the sauces seem homemade. The house specialties are unique and prepared thoughtfully, many with exotic flavours or strange combinations you won't find elsewhere. The sushi is also done well ... as if it was a real Japanese sushi chef. The staff is very warm and friendly. From the hostess, who could be a NYC fashion model, and makes an effort to seat each table away from other tables when possible ... to the waiter whom has been there for the decades I've been going there and I don't think I've ever seen him not smiling and laughing in all my trips. They play a mix of music with Martin Denny and Henry Mancini lounge classics being my favourite because it really makes like you feel that you are in a different decade. If you ever wondered what it would be like to dine at a fun place in 1978 ... you won't be disappointed. If you like modern and sterile, steer clear of this place. The Yobo is one of my favorites and I often take the long way, through 287 and 84 back to New England after visiting NY it NJ so I can come here.
