Completely unacceptable! And to think they're attached to the luxurious Caesars Palace Hotels. Me, my pregnant wife, our toddler and 2 small dogs, Checked in with our pets to the FAB pet stay suite. Upon arrival we noticed the phone was unplugged so I connected to phone jack so that we could call for our baggage. Only to be met with nonstop loud phone ringing and no dial out. We had to use our cell to call Caesar's, get transferred to flamingo, go through their prompts and FINALLY reach the front desk. The end right? Nope. First Lady was a damn machine, sounded too real, so she(it) had to transfer me to a real representative. The first (real) lady attempted to help us or so she said, put us on hold and then hung up. We had to re-do the process all over and spoke with someone else. We ended up having to go all the way down to the lobby and get a new room. The rooms were both straight out of a motel 6. But the price tag was something you could expect from Grand Hyatt or Bellagio. Then upon check out, we needed assistance doing the express check out since it's not directly on the ceasars website. We also needed to call valet for our vehicle. Lots of links and different tabs just to get to check out. But while on the phone the lady told us that a card number I've never heard was used to book the room. After assuring her I don't not have ever had a card with those numbers she told me I would need to come down to the lobby again and wouldn't be able to express check out. She also told us that valet wasn't accepting calls.. come to find out valet doesn't have a phone. You have to go down and wait for your vehicle after scanning a ticket, prompting them to finally go retrieve your vehicle. What the actual F?!?! Stayed here over the weekend from Friday-Sunday, it was the same weekend as Wrestlemania so I feel like the hotels on the strip were all pretty expensive. We booked for $265 a night before resort fees. We ended up staying an accessible 2 queen Habitat room (even though we we originally booked a king room) Pros: - great shower pressure - one of the only hotels on the strip that has an actual mini fridge that isn't filled with things that you get charged for moving - so actually helpful if you have leftovers - Really prime location center-strip. Super useful for us because we went clubbing at Drai's right next door at the Cromwell - in my opinion, pretty unique branding for a hotel that has been around for a long time - I guess animals never really go out of style? The live flamingos are pretty fun to walk by, and the interior seems pretty updated so it doesn't seem very dingy despite the age - Our room was pretty clean, and the flamingo paintings and lamp didn't feel too tacky, felt like they were nice small touches instead of a a very pink room that I pictured in my head - Pretty good TV with good signal and lots of channels - free wifi when we stayed (this seemed assumed, but I've seen some other reviews that say they charge? weird) - all the staff we encountered seemed really professional - not a super long wait for the elevators, there were plentiful and efficient (LOL not like Luxor) - decent food options nearby - we really liked the Cortadito coffee shop downstairs with empanadas - really good signage in the casino area - I weirdly sometimes get lost in other hotel casinos but I felt like this layout was simple, easy, with good clear signage - I don't typically love fastfood, but the food court downstairs is really convenient, given that the pizza and other food options are 24 hour joints, super helpful when you come back from the club at 5am and need some food before going to bed. - comfortable beds and sheets, easily adjustable heat/AC. - decent size room on the Strip. Of course not as big as the Palazzo's suite, but not too low of a ceiling to make you feel claustrophobic, overall comfy Cons: - I REALLY hated the check-in process, this is actually the main thing that bumped my review down from a 4 star. The whole check-in process took way too long at 9pm (and we were kind of in a rush trying to get ready for the club after our flight landed). In efforts to save time, we tried using the mobile check-in kiosk (which in theory is a fantastic idea). The kiosk said that our room "wasn't ready yet" and said to keep a lookout for an email update. I didn't like this because rooms should be ready at check-in time, and email is a weird way to notify someone - like why not text ? so we went to go eat dinner and I eventually got annoyed and lined up to talk to a front desk worker. Checking in here with her also took a long time (to me, anything more than 10 mins feels long) - but it wasn't her fault and Tiffany was super professional and helpful. She said that there were no more king rooms which we booked, and that we would have to wait. I told her I really didn't care what room we got, so she set us up with a 2 queen room. Had I had more time, I think I would have asked for something to be comped, but we were in a rush. Observing everyone interacting with front desk workers - everyone was really professional, but it felt like every guest had an issue that they were trying to figure out, similar to us. I really value a quick and efficient check-in process, so this for some reason left a bad taste in my mouth. - The room had some random clicking noises that happened a lot - like the bathroom light after you turned it off? wasn't too big of a deal but felt really loud in the middle of the night. Overall, not a bad value since it's not the most expensive on the strip, but it's an excellent location close to a lot of attractions. Avoid the Flamingo - It's a FlamingNO. I booked a suite at the Flamingo after seeing their website photos of "newly renovated" rooms. Upon check-in, the front desk immediately pushed an "upgrade" for $150 more per night--allegedly a better, newly renovated suite with a pool table. I declined, opting for the room I had already booked. What I got was a huge disappointment. The suite looked nothing like the photos--rundown, dirty, and outdated. The couch was sagging from overuse, chairs were stained, and the whole room felt like a Motel 6 imitation. I returned to the front desk, asking if I could switch to one of the pictured renovated rooms. The answer: no, unless I paid the $150/night upgrade. Reluctantly, I agreed. The upgraded room was only marginally better. Furniture was still beat up, stained, and poorly maintained. The carpet was dirty, bathroom sinks covered in limescale, and the shower barely worked--alternating between full-blast and no water at all. To top it off, the shower soap dispensers were taped over with a giant sheet of plastic like someone abandoned a half-finished repair job. By midnight, I just wanted to sleep. I noticed all the pillows were feather, which I'm allergic to. I had called the hotel a week before to confirm they had foam pillows and was assured they did. I phoned the front desk, who said foam pillows would be sent up shortly. 45 minutes later--nothing. I called again. 15 more minutes passed and finally, a staff member showed up... with a garbage bag of feather pillows. He laughed in my face, saying, "We only have feather, so here you go," and walked off. At 1am, I called the front desk again, was put on hold for 15 minutes, disconnected, called again, re-explained the situation, and got disconnected again. No one called back. Frustrated, I went down to the front desk in person, waited 30 minutes in line just to speak with someone. A manager came out, apologized, and was shocked at both the state of the room and the employee's behavior. I showed her photos of the issues and explained the pillow situation. She admitted they had no foam pillows and suggested I fold bed sheets into a pillowcase and sleep on that. She promised I'd get a proper pillow by 10am. The next day I returned to my room at 7pm expecting the promised pillows--nothing. I called again before heading to a show and was again told they'd be delivered. I got back after the show--still no pillows. After being hung up on three times, I returned to the lobby. A different manager apologized and offered to waive one night's upgrade fee. I accepted and tried to sleep--again--on bundled sheets. The next morning, I decided I'd had enough and went to check out. I was told no refund had been applied. When I asked for the manager I spoke to the night before, the new one claimed there were no notes confirming the refund. I explained everything again, and after a long back and forth, she reluctantly agreed to remove the charges. She even asked me, "Did you think this would get your whole room for free?" I said, "No. Just the upgrade fees for all the issues and lack of basic accommodations." This was by far one of the most unprofessional hotel experiences I've ever had. Poor maintenance, nonexistent customer service, and a total lack of accountability. Never staying here again. Don't do it. Just don't. read more

I had booked 3 rooms. Called at 1pm to let them know we would be a late arrival and to make sure all 3 rooms were LV strip view. Arrive around 11:30 pm and there is a long line to check in. We, unfortunately, got a check in agent who decided to give us 2 rooms without a strip view ( which was on our reservation and we paid extra for a strip view room) and the agent decided that since we were staying 4 nights she would opt us OUT of housekeeping! I called the next day when I realized our 2 rooms my friends were in were not strip view. Customer service told me I had to go to the desk. Again , wait in a long line and the manger took care of getting the 2 rooms assigned strip view rooms that we should have received night 1. So my friends had to pack up their room and unpack to the room they should have been assigned the night before. I called for towels day 2. They came in a decent amount of time. Day 4 , our trash was piling up and I called for towels, for them to take our old towels, and to empty trash. 6 hours late after contacting a second time the towels arrived but no trash emptied or old towels taken. That is when I learned our agent at check in opted us out of housekeeping! When the towels arrived I wanted to give them the used towels, but the person who delivered the towels told me just put the trash and towels in the hall. I texted guest services or whoever texts you , how was your stay? Their response was , " I apologize, the evening housekeeping team is limited throughout the evening and try to perform all requests made. ". I told them the original request was at 2pm, not 9 pm. Very disappointed in this hotel. Who wants to see used towels and garbage in the hallway? But apparently that is the Flamingo LV standard. We came here for a MadeHoops Basketball tournament and this place advertised fun pools that were always closed or go adults only!! Do not go there!! Also the pool staff is idiotic and has zero common sense and they have lack of respect for anyone. The pools are 3 ft deep and the kiddie slide was NOT open most of the time we were there and then when they FINALLY opened it- the blank stare- faces of these so called lifeguards and stand in pool staff and literally have no brain cells werent paying attention and when my son got stuck on the slide bc of lack of water and trying to get the lifeguards help- they looked at him and ignored him and proceeded to allow another kid to go down the damn slide while he aaa still there and he took an elbow the the skull im the eye!! My husband lost it and the staff kicked him out and we had to file a huge complaint and file an incident report. We have documented his head and he had a concussion from the lack of brains this hotels staff and the pool staff obtain. We won't be back and we have contacted a lawyer. Skip this place- especially if you have kids. They don't maintain the pool area or have adequately trained staff AND it was hardly only on Memorial Day weekend!! Of all Times- WTF! Get it together. I also witnessed while there the pool staff harassing a woman breastfeeding her infant! There are hoes all around Vegas naked! Get the fuck out of here with all that BS. I breastfed all 3 of my boys and I did it in public- I'd do it again and yall need to cater to people who do- not condem and judge them and make them feel dirty when you see boobs and ASS all over. The men are topless- I see their nips... I saw a ton of inappropriate things worm and done there and they want to pick on a MOM in the family fucking pool! There are laws against that too. Y'all are asking for lawsuit after lawsuit. Better hire a new people management team to handle that portion of the hotel before they ruin and cause a lot of money loss and lawsuits. Don't come here! Rooms were also lame and not remodeled. Gross Valet staff also wrote WRONG name on valet ticket- where do you get LAUREN?? I'm Corrie. What a poor experience and we have been to Vegas several times. Even the NYNY is better than this hole. We have had presidential suites and stayed at nice places and some basic spots when having the kiddos with us- but this was by far our worst Vegas experience. I have submitted the online request form as I was instructed to do, and uploaded pictures of the necklaces I left in the room & exactly where I left them. No luck finding them. I even called their lost & found directly and had to wait 3 days for a call back. The guy I spoke with said they hadn't been found but gave me a link to give more information. I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of May 2026 for my anniversary, and I was extremely disappointed, for a lot of reasons (some minor, some I consider major). I'm not confrontational, and only complained about a few. Here's a list in no particular order -Self check in did not work -i called ahead the week before to request a room with no feather pillows, this was not provided. After 5 hours of driving I couldn't lay down until the pillows and bedding got replaced -Their system for charging food/drink/etc to the room was not working for the first two days, so I could not use my food credit (problems with that too) -The reservation was supposed to include $30 a day food credit. Once their system was back up, I found out that there was some error with the booking and I was not receiving that -For a few hours every day, there was a foul smell coming through the vents -The shower is half open with no curtain. We found out later you have to request a curtain. When we got one, it barely worked because it billowed - we still had to mop the floor after every shower -The johnny rockets that is advertised wasn't a full restaurant, it was a counter with a few seats in the food court. -Wilderness area didn't have seating One positive is that all their employees did their best to help when asked, but there wasn't much they were able to do. I complained about a few of these things at the check in desk (there was no guest services on the premises. I received a $50 food credit, but they couldn't do anything else. read more

Had been prepared to give the hotel a passable grade, but ran into subpar service. Went to take a shower and saw that the dispenser for the body wash was broken and completely empty. Something basic like this should have been addressed before we even entered the room. When I called the front desk to let them know, I was told I'd receive some bottles of the body wash. At other hotels, when something was missing or didn't work, someone would come within 15 minutes of us making a call. Half an hour passed here and no one ever came. We showered and made do with what we had since we had an event to go to. I would've appreciated if they simply had left a bottle of the wash at the door for us later. Booked here not knowing there was construction going on from 5am-5pm on the weekend. I woke up to a jackhammer which sounded like live fire. As a disabled veteran with PTSD this is not acceptable. We were able to get a refund but all the agents working could tell us was "I'm sorry about that". When asked if there was an actual voucher or discount offered because the construction was not posted on the hotel website, the response was no. And then we were offered bottle water. We would have never stayed at this hotel knowing we would be woken up to construction on the weekend at 5 am. The construction is in the lobby near check in and you could hear it on the 4th floor. This is an acceptable hotel to stay on The Strip; nothing too special. Check in was at 4 pm and was a complete nightmare. Lines were extremely long and took a while. It was even more frustrating after I had to look for the entrance to the parking lot since the front was closed off (and construction was going on). The parking lot really needed some re-stripe work to be done. To leave parking structure, you use the room key (had to try several times before it worked). The room was ok, just a little dated. It would have nice too at least have a microwave or coffee-maker. I booked a room to have views of The Strip, but couldn't really see clearly through the windows. The good things about this hotel are that the lighting is good, the walkway is outside by the Cromwell to get to the other side to Caesars Palace and the Bellagio, and the Linq Promenade is on the side. read more

Rude staff. You can't check in when you arrive and then get a notice when your room is ready. You have to be there in person at the desk at 4 or pay an early fee. Had a room without a working shower. Maintenance guy never came. We called that we were leaving for dinner (completely gross after the pool because of no shower) and came back at 9 to a maintenance guy in our room after we said we didn't want anyone in here while we were gone. He couldn't fix it. So again no shower before bed. 5 year old got to sleep an hour late. Manager on duty said they wouldn't refund the room for that day but as a courtesy they could waive the resort fee. Oh and on top of that despite paying the early check-in and being told they had adjoining rooms so I could go in and check on my 76 year old mom, when we got to the rooms they were next to each other but not adjoining. The staff at the Flamingo are awesome! The casino it's self carried so much history. It's a modern casino with an old soul. Think about how much effort the put in to taking care of the animals here. It's beautiful and so green, full of amazing plants like a mini jungle in Vegas. It's clearly the best casino in Vegas. I'm a native to Vegas, in my 40's. Brought my kid here for the Pokémon card show. She printed this MewTwo and wanted to show it off. She's special needs and everyone was so nice to her. The staff loved the print and said such nice things to her and let her take these pics. As a girl dad it just meant a lot. They are so busy and tourist can be so rude yet they were so nice to us! I don't understand why Flamingo gets so much hate. I have stayed here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. Is it the best or nicest hotel? No. But since it isn't that expensive you shouldn't be expecting that anyway. You get what you pay for and since Flamingo is on the more affordable side it's not a fabulous hotel. That being said it is clean and has large, comfortable rooms. The best thing about it is that it is right in the middle of the strip so you can easily walk to everything. read more

Well, they are officially at the worst hotel in Vegas in my opinion. I had endless issues with bugs, sewage, etc. After about a dozen calls including to corporate, I was out through to risk management and told I would be given a refund and comped two nights for a future stay and they just needed a day to sort paperwork. Well they lied. It's been 2 weeks and every call goes to voicemail. They obviously just said that to make me go away and had no intention of giving me anything. I had a feeling they were lying so I joined every facebooks group and reddit group I could find and wrote reviews of my experience. I wanted to share our recent experience at the Flamingo Hotel, as it was unfortunately very disappointing. During our stay, my husband made a small, harmless hop inside the elevator--just a moment of excitement--and the elevator abruptly stopped working. We were stuck inside for nearly an hour, which significantly triggered my severe anxiety. Afterward, we were charged $850, a fee we found extremely unreasonable given the circumstances. The elevator should be able to withstand normal guest movement and a reasonable amount of weight without malfunctioning. On top of that, we noticed exposed wiring inside the elevator, which raised additional safety concerns. Because of this situation, we felt compelled to check out early. We were also surprised that the hotel would pass these costs directly onto guests. We assumed the hotel would have proper insurance for incidents involving elevator malfunctions, especially when no actual damage was intentionally caused. We attempted to resolve the matter with management, but unfortunately did not receive a satisfactory resolution. What could have been a memorable first trip ended up being overshadowed by this stressful experience. I sincerely hope the hotel reconsiders its policies and addresses these safety concerns so future guests are not placed in similar situations. read more

My wife and I drove nine and a half hours from Sacramento to spend Thanksgiving with our family, and we chose the Flamingo because we expected a comfortable, reliable stay. We relied on the photos online that show clean, modern, renovated rooms -- but what we walked into was the complete opposite. Despite being a VIP member, paying for an upgrade, and being told we'd get a studio room with a sphere view for an extra $20 per night, the "view" was barely visible and the room itself was old, run-down, smelly, and nothing like the photos advertised. The bathroom door didn't close all the way, the sealing was falling off, and the whole room felt neglected and outdated. Flamingo claims these rooms are updated and renovated, but that was definitely not our experience. On top of that, I was shocked to learn that we were being charged $20 every time we left the parking garage -- something that was not mentioned at check-in and feels completely unreasonable. The heater didn't work, and our room stayed at 62 degrees the entire time. We were cold and uncomfortable for our entire stay. Even the elevators felt unsafe -- loud noises, shaking, and bouncing every time we stepped in. It genuinely felt like something was wrong with them. Overall, this was a horrible experience from start to finish. As a VIP member who paid for an upgrade, I expected much better. This stay was uncomfortable, disappointing, and absolutely not worth the money. I would never stay at the Flamingo again, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Ever. Arrived on a Sunday. For $60.00, could request early check in. Versus the 3:30 pm check in. Put luggage with bell desk and changed to bathing suit in restroom. Couldn't bring in an AH Ha flavored water to the pool. Had to toss it. At 3:40 went to check in as I never received an email that I could check in. This is a far cry from years ago when you'd get notified you could check in when room available. The room was at 3:55 pm was extremely warm. I closed the blinds and put the thermostat to 68 degrees. Showered and got ready for dinner. Still very warm. I contacted the hotel via IVY, they sent an engineer to check AC. They also let me know the AC only goes on when someone is in the room. Liked IVY. Online concierge Online checkout easy and bill was accurate. PROS. Convenient location, clean room, security was seen throughout. Family pool nice. Water available for drinking. CONs. Pool. Adult pool way too loud of music. family pool, nice. But not enough free chairs. The ones there. All very close together. Also, the music conflicted between family and the adult pool. Pick a station! Expensive drinks. $25.00 for a mediocre pina colada. I loved being in the Habitat tower. Close to Habitat area, and promenade. Would've gave 3.5 stars, but giving benefit of the doubt here. Had an amazing stay at the Flamingo! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even surprised us with an upgrade to a room with a perfect view of the F1 track. Catching up with reviews from a trip I took a while back and not that people really come here over travel sites for hotel recommendations, but if they knew better they would. You're going to get the real deal here, not inauthentic fluff. The Flamingo is a dump, especially with the strides that The Strip has made over the last decade. It simply hasn't kept up or stayed current. That being said, it is a Caesars property, it's centrally located, it's damn affordable, it has food options, the pool in the summer is pretty bad ass for a pool party, and let's face it, all you really need is a bed when you're in Vegas. If you're in your room too much, you're not doing Vegas right. Affordable, clean(ish), and in the middle of the action. What more do you want? read more

Love the Flamingo Hotel, and its rooms. I didn't have a chance to take my girl here, because I was on business. I love the rooms here. They are clean with fresh clean linen on the beds. Bathrooms and view of the outside is wonderful. They have good room service too. I got my gamble on too, and the food is good here. Nice to be back again. read more

Recently stayed at The Flamingo for our wedding trip to Vegas, and this hotel genuinely ruined what should have been the best experience of our lives. We booked a room in the Habitat Tower, which is marketed to imply all rooms have views of the flamingos and habitat. That is misleading at best. We had zero view of any animals, only a direct view of the Mexican restaurant across the way, Chayo, which blasts loud music starting at 7am until the early hours of the morning. So right off the bat, no habitat view and constant noise. The first night the music stopped around 11pm, so we managed to sleep. The second night, our actual wedding night, we could not sleep at all. Around 1:30am we went down to the lobby to request a room change and were told the hotel was completely sold out. We were handed earplugs and told to come back the next day, stand in line, and maybe they could help us then. We went back to our room. Music was still blasting at 2:30am. We looked across at the restaurant and there were zero customers. It was closed. Just staff cleaning up with no reason whatsoever to still be rattling our walls with music except for their own entertainment. We went back down to the lobby and were offered a $50 food and drink credit. Underwhelming, but okay. We decided to go directly to the restaurant ourselves. The employee at the front wouldn't even look at me when I spoke to him. I literally had to ask him, "why won't you even look at me?" He would only barely acknowledge my husband. Make of that what you will. Another staff member came out and was rude and combative from the jump. When I asked her to put herself in our shoes, her response was, and I quote, "That's life." Super professional. And I should mention here, we actually ate at this restaurant the previous night because it was convenient. Food was shite. So it stung extra to have been treated like this by a business we chose to patronize. Shortly after we returned to our room the music finally stopped, somewhere around 3am. At that point we decided we were done and would be checking out in the morning. For leaving one day early, these greedy bastards charged us a $56 early departure fee, because they were absolutely going to collect that $50 daily resort fee no matter what. I asked if we could apply the $50 food and drink credit we had been offered toward our room bill and was told no, it can only be used at hotel restaurants. On our wedding night. After all of that. Truly petty. My sister was also staying at the hotel in a separate tower and said she could hear music thumping from the pool area in her room practically all day. So it wasn't just us. And then the icing on the cake. A few days after returning home I noticed an extra charge of $432.00 on my bank statement. When I called to dispute it, I was pushed through approximately five different AI "operators" and repeatedly told they were experiencing higher than normal call volumes and that I should just hang up and submit a claim online. I refused. Once I finally got through to the billing department, a real person picked up immediately. So that "high call volume" line is a complete crock. It is a deliberate strategy to discourage you from actually speaking to someone and getting your issue resolved. The billing employee was helpful and discovered that the front desk agent had never actually checked us out, despite charging us the early departure fee, so we were billed for an additional night on top of everything else. He said he would process a refund but told me to check back in a few days to confirm. Given everything that happened, I have zero confidence it will go smoothly. And $432.00 for one of their dumpy rooms is absolutely ridiculous. Even if it was a Friday. The rooms are nothing special. Bare bones amenities. Not even a coffeemaker. This was a deeply disappointing experience from start to finish. We will not be returning, and we will be telling everyone we know to avoid this hotel and its affiliated properties. If you are reading this and considering staying here, proceed with caution. You have been warned. read more
