I don't understand why Flamingo gets so much hate. I have stayed here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. Is it the best or nicest hotel? No. But since it isn't that expensive you shouldn't be expecting that anyway. You get what you pay for and since Flamingo is on the more affordable side it's not a fabulous hotel. That being said it is clean and has large, comfortable rooms. The best thing about it is that it is right in the middle of the strip so you can easily walk to everything. read more

Yesterday was the worst service I have ever received in any valet as a local in Las Vegas. It took 25 minutes to check in and over an hour to pick up my car. I even asked if I could get my keys to go get my own car after speaking with the manager twice named Ryan. He really didn't do much at all he told me I would need to dispute the $40 on my credit card if I was unhappy with my Service. $40 is a lot to pay to park a car with terrible customer service and Wait times. I will not be ever returning to the flamingo hotel, and I will tell all of my friends and family as well. Terrible customer service. read more

Not sure why people give this place bad reviews. Check in was a breeze with the "quick check in". Our room was very clean and as updated as any other hotel. Well, they are officially at the worst hotel in Vegas in my opinion. I had endless issues with bugs, sewage, etc. After about a dozen calls including to corporate, I was out through to risk management and told I would be given a refund and comped two nights for a future stay and they just needed a day to sort paperwork. Well they lied. It's been 2 weeks and every call goes to voicemail. They obviously just said that to make me go away and had no intention of giving me anything. I had a feeling they were lying so I joined every facebooks group and reddit group I could find and wrote reviews of my experience. Luckily there are lots of other people with the same experience as me so time to see what legal options there are, especially with multiple people with the same complaints. read more

I wanted to share our recent experience at the Flamingo Hotel, as it was unfortunately very disappointing. During our stay, my husband made a small, harmless hop inside the elevator--just a moment of excitement--and the elevator abruptly stopped working. We were stuck inside for nearly an hour, which significantly triggered my severe anxiety. Afterward, we were charged $850, a fee we found extremely unreasonable given the circumstances. The elevator should be able to withstand normal guest movement and a reasonable amount of weight without malfunctioning. On top of that, we noticed exposed wiring inside the elevator, which raised additional safety concerns. Because of this situation, we felt compelled to check out early. We were also surprised that the hotel would pass these costs directly onto guests. We assumed the hotel would have proper insurance for incidents involving elevator malfunctions, especially when no actual damage was intentionally caused. We attempted to resolve the matter with management, but unfortunately did not receive a satisfactory resolution. What could have been a memorable first trip ended up being overshadowed by this stressful experience. I sincerely hope the hotel reconsiders its policies and addresses these safety concerns so future guests are not placed in similar situations. read more

You're going to get the real deal here, not inauthentic fluff. The Flamingo is a dump, especially with the strides that The Strip has made over the last decade. That being said, it is a Caesars property, it's centrally located, it's damn affordable, it has food options, the pool in the summer is pretty bad ass for a pool party, and let's face it, all you really need is a bed when you're in Vegas. My wife and I drove nine and a half hours from Sacramento to spend Thanksgiving with our family, and we chose the Flamingo because we expected a comfortable, reliable stay. We relied on the photos online that show clean, modern, renovated rooms -- but what we walked into was the complete opposite. Despite being a VIP member, paying for an upgrade, and being told we'd get a studio room with a sphere view for an extra $20 per night, the "view" was barely visible and the room itself was old, run-down, smelly, and nothing like the photos advertised. The bathroom door didn't close all the way, the sealing was falling off, and the whole room felt neglected and outdated. Flamingo claims these rooms are updated and renovated, but that was definitely not our experience. On top of that, I was shocked to learn that we were being charged $20 every time we left the parking garage -- something that was not mentioned at check-in and feels completely unreasonable. The heater didn't work, and our room stayed at 62 degrees the entire time. We were cold and uncomfortable for our entire stay. Even the elevators felt unsafe -- loud noises, shaking, and bouncing every time we stepped in. It genuinely felt like something was wrong with them. Overall, this was a horrible experience from start to finish. As a VIP member who paid for an upgrade, I expected much better. I made a reservation through AMEX and during check in I was offered an upgrade for $25 more per night. The room is spacious but the towels were stained as well as the pillow case and sheets. To request room service, I was transferred three times to different people. The internet allows to connect only two devices. Arrived on a Sunday. For $60.00, could request early check in. Versus the 3:30 pm check in. Put luggage with bell desk and changed to bathing suit in restroom. Couldn't bring in an AH Ha flavored water to the pool. Had to toss it. At 3:40 went to check in as I never received an email that I could check in. This is a far cry from years ago when you'd get notified you could check in when room available. The room was at 3:55 pm was extremely warm. I closed the blinds and put the thermostat to 68 degrees. Showered and got ready for dinner. Still very warm. I contacted the hotel via IVY, they sent an engineer to check AC. They also let me know the AC only goes on when someone is in the room. Liked IVY. Online concierge Online checkout easy and bill was accurate. PROS. Convenient location, clean room, security was seen throughout. Family pool nice. Water available for drinking. CONs. Pool. Adult pool way too loud of music. family pool, nice. But not enough free chairs. The ones there. All very close together. Also, the music conflicted between family and the adult pool. Pick a station! Expensive drinks. $25.00 for a mediocre pina colada. I loved being in the Habitat tower. Close to Habitat area, and promenade. Would've gave 3.5 stars, but giving benefit of the doubt here. Ive stayed here before in their newer rooms and everything was fine. This one I had to call to get them to turn the heat on as I turned it up to 80 all night and woke up to it still blowing cold air and it actually went down a notch... I don't understand the Caesars Properties and why you can't change it from AC to Heat. Especially in December. Tub didn't drain well. Shower knob didn't work really well and the water was always a bit cold and not hot. There was no towel hook behind the door and looked like it had fallen off. There was a toothpaste topper stuck in the drain in the sink. There were no plugs by the bed to plug in your phone to charge. Lamps are old school where you have to turn them twice to turn on. Had to ask for a fridge for the room. Also had to ask for a private sign for the door. Never had to do that before. I don't understand what's going on with Caesar's properties. One of the oldest, original hotels left in Las Vegas. Expanded and updated over the decades and a recent remodeled pool with swim up bar and from what we saw, very crowded. The casino has a great selection of slots and table games. A nice touch was a portable bar at the check in registration area. "A Classic Name That's Lost Its Shine" The Flamingo may be iconic, but the room we stayed in felt more like a budget motel than a Vegas landmark. The air conditioner never cooled the room below 75° and loudly clanked through the night--occasionally dripping water onto the sink area. The bathroom drain barely worked, and the furnishings looked like half of them had been stolen or forgotten. No lounge chair, no coffee maker, no microwave, and only one tiny bar of soap. The TV was smaller than my carry-on. The view? A dirty wall. Worse yet, you could hear everything--music, TVs, hallway chatter--all night long. The only bright spots were the bed and pillows, which were surprisingly comfortable. Unfortunately, that comfort was surrounded by frustration. I've seen a lot of negative reviews about this place. But just recently my mom and I stayed for four nights. And that's because the price per night was so cheap which at first we couldn't even believe. People say that the staff isn't good and they would say the room is old and the walls aren't soundproof or the room smells? Well, being someone who recently stayed here. Our room is pretty decent and there were no weird smells and yes, we could hear the people who stayed right next to us but that didn't bother us at all. What a sad and poor experience. Due to President Biden flying in on 2/4, our flight got canceled. We had to fly in a day early. Flamingo was sold out and could not accommodate us a day early. I inquired about their other properties and they were not able to help us. I then logged into my Caesar's account and sadly everything was sold out. Lastly, I checked expedia and got a room at Harrahs (another of Caesar's properties). Caesar probably sold all their leftover rooms to 3rd parties...? Quality/Quantity - Day 1 = No hot water. Day 2 = My phone could not log onto their wifi system. It took half an hour with their tech support. Also, the wifi in rooms and in the lobby used separate systems? So we were always kicked off of their wifi when we left the room. Day 3 = No hot water. Day 4 = No hot water. Then I noticed they charged me for wifi for 2 days! Day 5 = Limited hot water. Day 6 = No hot water, called twice to complain for the last time and no answer from management. Left a phone # and they claimed they will get back to me in 2-3 days. Got in the check out line to complain, then they sent me to the management line. Management offered a poorer response than guest services did? How does a manager have less power than guest service...? This company has gone downhill. I will take a break from visiting their properties. 4 of 6 days with NO hot water. They credited us 2 days of resort fees for our two rooms. And it felt like the team did not care... Or they were just too tired from everyone in the entire hotel calling and complaining. The shower drain was amazingly slow and after complaining on the 4th day, they fixed it. Was not able to connect one of my two devices to the internet on my second day here, and then I checked and found out they were charging me for the internet. Another fail. Why do I have to call guest services daily here!!! Called guest service 5 of my 6 days; what a waste of my time. Atmosphere - One of the original casinos in LV. No view from our room. Service - Fail on this visit. Fail on our last Caesar Palace visit also... See other review. Price - $1462 for our two rooms. Minus the credit of 2 days of resort fees. I think it is an insult compared to what we experienced. To have to take cold showers in the winter and only get credit for two days of resort fees (per room) was disappointing. Then they charged me for two days of internet access, which I had to also bring to their attention. After 2 phone calls and standing in two lines, the manager gave us another $15 credit per room. They really do NOT want our business any more. Update - Another manager called and left a voicemail that they will credit us a few more $$, which we did receive. Owner Comment - Really disappointed in this visit. This brand is really going downhill. Last few visits we stayed in the MGM brand, see other reviews. You really need to improve your service! If they keep up the poor customer service, I will be staying at MGM. Suggestions - Create a NEW customer service training program and start with your managers! Your current program is the WORST. When you know you will not fix your problems for a few days, at minimum, a simple jester is to contact all your guests. This alone will eliminate 50% of complaints. Acknowledging the issues and sharing the solution goes a long way. Good to great companies immediately give credits without guests having to complain which would eliminate another 40% of complaints. We stayed here from a Friday to Monday! The good: Hotel location: It's pretty much in the middle of the strip so walking to places is pretty easy! Also has an entrance right onto the linq promenade where there are a lot of stores and shops plus the High Roller Ferris wheel. Clean room: the room was pretty clean! We were comfortable with the temperature and it was pretty nice. No bad smells like I have read in other reviews The bad: Check in: It's at 4pm. You can check in early but if it's before 3:30 there is a $15 fee. We got there at 3:20 and had to get out of line and wait the 10 minutes which is literally what everyone was doing so when you got back in line it was so long. The plumbing: There was no hot water! It was lukewarm! Also, the shampoo and conditioner are super low quality and watery! Don't forget to bring yours like i did! The room location: Our room had a direct view of the inlove sugar store and a bar on the Linq Promenade. They played super loud music until 4am and you could hear the DJ and music crystal clear. We are from Michigan so that combined with the 3 hour time difference really exhausted us. Overall, I can put up with the bad and I would stay here again. read more

The rooms here are nice, we had Flamingo Premium room that overlooked Caesar's Palace and Bellagio. It was very spacious and we liked the couch and TV that was included, the view was nice too. My fiancé and I decided to come to Vegas since it's one of the places we like due to the social life, food and atmosphere but we disregarded what everyone was saying about staying away from Vegas. The general consensus is to stay away from Vegas since every casino is tight right now, well we learned that from experience that it's true. There's no give or take with the machines at a majority of the casinos here. My fiancé and I lost 3K in 2 days betting anywhere from $1-$2.50, nothing too much or too big. So if you decide to take a vacation here, Flamingo has nice rooms but skip the gambling and just stick to the night life, (shows and clubs), and food. read more

We recently stayed at the Flamingo in Las Vegas while attending a conference. Overall we enjoyed our trip, but the room did not match what was advertised. The hotel advertises newly renovated rooms, but ours clearly had not been updated. The bathroom shower leaked, so we had to ask for extra towels every day just to clean up the water on the floor. The bathroom fan was also broken and only made a loud noise when turned on. The carpet felt bumpy in places, and the TV had very limited channels. We were also surprised that Wi-Fi only covered two devices, and additional devices required an extra fee. The pool closed at 5pm, which meant it was always closed by the time we returned from our conference each day. The room layout also lacked storage. There were no drawers for clothing, so we had to live out of our suitcases all week. The small hanging area was very short and didn't accommodate longer items like dresses or coats. A coffee maker in the room would have also been appreciated. The room did have a mini fridge, but it didn't include a freezer. On the positive side, we did enjoy the wildlife habitat and the central location on the Strip. We also experienced a brief power outage one day, but it was resolved. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Las Vegas, but for the price we paid we expected a more updated room and better in-room amenities. read more

We stayed here for a wedding, and while it was fine for just sleeping, I wouldn't stay here again. When we arrived, we checked in on a screen and it printed out our room keys. We were totally lost because there was no direction of which elevator would bring you close to your room. The hallways are so long and wrap around and around, so it did take forever. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke, even though we had a nonsmoking room. The bed was comfortable and we slept great at first, until the bumping loud music from the linq out the window on the weekend. It was fun watching people zipline right out the window. We had issues with our sink faucet and also shower faucet. They are so old and barely turned on and off. Bad water pressure and only a bit of hot water before going cold. It wasn't enjoyable. They paid thousands of dollars for 4 rooms and for their guests to have no better than rural camping amenities! 1st, there was an extra charge to check in before 4p. My mom is 83 and I am 63 so he paid extra so we could check in early. Once we get in our room we find out we have no water. No washing hands or going to the bathroom ugh! We are told they are aware of a water leak in a couple of the towers and water has been shut off nothing they can do. So for hours my mom and I with chronic kidney disease had to stay downstairs by the bathroom. Taking a shower was not an option and we had left to the airport at 4 am that morning. 2nd, an alarm went off in the casino for about an hour. The announcement said alarm had been activated and to not panic. So I sat by door in case we had to leave quickly. 3rd, the next day I waited for maintenance because you have to get in shower to turn faucet on because there is a fixed non moving glass door in front of shower dial. Turning on shower I got soaked and it was shooting out under bathroom door. Maintenance said they forgot to put me a shower curtain. Maintenance readjusted the shower head to not shoot out by front door but it still soaked bathroom floor. 4th No hot water. Maintenance said to flush toilet 6 times then water should get hot which it didn't. So he said to leave running for a while and it should get hot but it never did. 5th The next day major water leak so water was shut off again so no shower before the wedding ugh! Wasn't just our room everyone in our tower. 6th, We put some leftovers in our mini fridge but it spoiled because it was broken. In summary, my son bought 4 rooms, paid for parking, paid for upgraded rooms, paid for early check in and we all got accommodations worse than rural camping without facilities! Toiletries were 1 bar of soap, dispensers missing or empty and there is no coffee pot for tea or coffee. My son made a complaint and they said they would comp $20. The Flamingo layout means be ready for a lot of walking. Feels like it's aimed at a younger, party crowd. The refurbished pools didn't really feel updated, and good luck getting a chair at the main pool. The party pool is fun if that's your vibe, but not the spot to relax. We stuck to the family pool, which was more our speed, but even there chairs were super limited. We had to get up early just to snag two spots. Definitely not a chill, lounge-around kind of pool day. The in-room shower was weird--partly glass with no curtain, so water ended up everywhere no matter what you did. It's a decent, more affordable Vegas option. Walking distance to the Sphere, some decent food spots, and we had a fun cocktail at Pinky's by Vanderpump. read more

It feels like Flamingo might be the last connection to old Vegas on The strip. Sitting among some of the most notable resorts but still holding its own. Does it look dated inside, a bit. But is it entertaining and close to a lot of amenities, absolutely. Honestly, this is also a good detour to escape the heat outside on hot days. Completely open to pedestrians and you might end up finding yourself distracted a bit. It has some interesting shows for you to take in, different from nearby resorts. One of the best things about this place is that it opens up directly to the Linq Promenade. Not liking what you find inside, head out to the promenade and find yourself something to do. read more

I booked a room at the Flamingo for August 28, 2025. I couldn't arrive that day, but my friend was flying in from another city and I made arrangements through Priceline to add her name to the reservation. Priceline confirmed this was done -- which turned out to be a lie (a separate review for them). When my friend arrived, she was met at the front desk by a manager named Grettel. What followed was one of the most unprofessional displays of "customer service" I've ever witnessed. My friend asked if Grettel would like to speak with me -- the person on the reservation -- so I could provide verification. Her response? "No, not really." "No, not really." That was the level of interest the front desk manager at a Caesars property had in resolving a very simple issue for a paying guest. No effort, no solutions, just a bad attitude and a willingness to stonewall. Frankly, it was embarrassing for her and embarrassing for the Flamingo. A little while later, another manager named Maria Galaz came on duty. In less than 10 minutes, she solved the entire problem. Maria simply provided her Caesars email address so Priceline could send verification, and my friend was checked in without further issue. It was that simple. Exactly what Grettel should have done from the very beginning. The contrast between these two managers couldn't be more stark: * Grettel: dismissive, uninterested, and a poor reflection of leadership at the Flamingo. She should be embarrassed by how she handled this. * Maria Galaz: professional, pleasant, and effective. She deserves recognition for providing the service that guests should expect at a Las Vegas resort. Bottom line: Flamingo, if Grettel is the face of your management team, you should be ashamed. Guests deserve more than a shrug and a "not really" when asking for help. If not for Maria stepping in, this stay would have been a total disaster. I paid $600 for two nights which was overpriced for the dirty walled hotel room I got in the Habitat tower. It had a decent view from the 21st floor. The bathroom needs more light. I felt like my room could use more modernization. I wish I took a pick of the old and ugly small fridge. The Flamingo is the ghetto. I only stayed there because all my teammates were there. This has been my consistent experience here and it's my 3rd and last year at the Flamingo. read more
