This restaurant is attached to the Springhill Suites at Flamingo Crossing. We arrived without having lunch so we were starving. The restaurant/bar is situated next to the pool. It was very pleasant sitting by the pool and having a few drinks with food. We arrived during happy hour but when the bill came our drinks had not been discounted so I had to get the bill corrected. Kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree and we were charged, so that also had to be corrected. The drink prices are way too high but during happy hour the discount brings the price down to more reasonable. Our food was decent. The wife and I had fish tacos ($18.95 for 2 tacos) and they were not bad. Too much cheese and sauce, but the grilled fish tasted fresh. The French fries were exceptionally crisp and delicious. They were expensive but we were starving and did not have energy to search the area, so they sufficed. The kid's burger was a good sized burger and she liked it. Plus, once I got the bill correct, it was free. Hard to argue with free. Overall, not a bad place to hang out. I would recommend happy hour but off-hours is a bit expensive. read more

We arrived a bit late and headed to Flamingo's since they were open a bit later than other places nearby. We went with some of the reuben egg rolls, the wings, a cobb salad, and alligator bites. Good was fine with prices commensurate with a hotel restaurant (not cheap!). The reuben egg rolls were pretty interesting and the wings and cobb salad were pretty good. Found myself staying at Townplace Suites after selling my home. I actually stayed at this same hotel 6 years ago when I bought my house. The restaurant and bar have gone down hill. Nothing was bad but for the prices they charged it would be nice if they gave you what the menu described. One night I ordered the Blueberry Basil margarita. For $15 I thought you'd be able to taste the tequila but it tasted more of the mix. There was no basil and the blueberries were awful. Day at the pool at 2pm, not busy, yet waited well over 10 mins for a bartender to even come to the counter. She was no where to be seen. I ordered the Pirate Mai Tai. It was a decent Mai tai but not what was advertised. Cheap silver rum instead of the dark rum and grenadine instead of the cranberry juice. Since it wasn't bad I ordered another but asked her to not use grenadine and use the cranberry and she actually looked confused. I had food in my room for dinner but thought an order of fries would be good. "Flamingo Dusted Fries" for $7.95. Huge portion and decent fries but guess flamingo dust means hardly any salt. There was no special seasoning. I asked if there was ketchup in the bag and the bartender literally said "I wouldn't know, I didn't pack it" ok thanks. I also ordered a Captains Mule to take back with me. Decent drink of Captain Morgan, cheap silver rum. Lime juice and ginger beer. However the menu described it as Captain Morgan, Domain Canton Ginger Liquer, Orange Bitters and Ginger beer. So basically don't go here for service or accurately made drinks. I've never been to this place before, but when we were looking for something to eat the hotel, we decided to order from here and have it delivered via door dash.  It had a lot of mixed reviews, but we figured we'd give it a try.   Something had to be better than the various restaurants that we tried at the hotel and nearby hotels. We kept our order simple: 1.  Flamingo's burger - Burger cooked medium, American cheese, and "flamingo dusted" fries.   This was amazing.  The burger was juicy and fresh.   Fries were nice and cripy. 2.  Steak Platter- Juicy steak with creamy garlic mashed potatoes.   I wasn't sure exactly what the sliced veggies were, but they were tasty as well.   3.  Coconut Shrimp -  The shrimp was surprisingly crispy and didn't fall apart with the first bite.      Overall, the food was amazing, hot and fresh,  and so flavorful.  I can't wait to try this place again. read more

Poolside dinner There is a shared pool between the TownePlace Suites and Springhill Suites at Flamingo Crossing. My granddaughter sure likes the water. We decided to stay close so she could get more pool time by having dinner at the poolside restaurant Flamingo's Bar & Grille. Our good spirited server handled in stride our inability to all sit at the table at the same time to order food. I ordered their Flamingo Burger. I like ordering things that include the restaurant name, thinking they take extra care with signature dishes. Yeah, right. I also like burgers and this one was very good, extra attention or not. Flamingo's is great for a fun cocktail while you take a dip in the gorgeous pool. You'll enjoy the relaxed vibe and the fun bartenders. Lots of cocktails and beer to choose from. The wine list is just ok. The food is hit or miss. We've had scrumptious meals and other times not good at all. But the convenience and location make up for the food. Great place if you have kids and/or are staying at one the two adjoining hotels. We enjoy the Springhill and have stayed often. This is a great restaurant to enjoy right off of the hotel. The pizza here is actually quite good. The sizes are comparable to most pizza chains, the sauce is good, the toppings are generous, and we always enjoy pizza at the pool on a beautiful summer Florida day. Some other food items that we've tried and enjoyed are the chicken tenders for the kids, the Flamingo burger is another solid option, and we really enjoy their crispy French fries. Excellent pool bar food, ordered the chicken quesadilla and loaded flamingo fires. Quesadilla has loads of chicken and plenty of cheese, came with a cup of sour cream, loaded fries were covered in cheese with pieces of bacon. Nice to sit by the pool and enjoy lunch. read more

In house eatery for hotel guests, has grilled/fried food options. Lacks a lot of healthy options but you're on vacation so no surprise there. Service was nice and took care of us. Problems I had for the low star rating would be due to the lack of non-carb/fried options, sides, nonalcoholic beverage options. Biggest sin is if you eat INSIDE the establishment you're served on disposable styrofoam ware and plastic utensils. The Flamingos Bar and Grille is pretty good for being a restaurant attached between two hotels. The outside patio overlooks the pool, the design is pretty and eye catching. The food overall is great, keep in mind this is no 5 star spot when I say great. We had the supreme pizza; cheesy (which is good), right amount of sauce, generous with their toppings. The new hotel doesn't have a restaurant yet so we decided to drive down to Flamingo Bar and Grille twice during our recent stay. Friday night it was empty, service was quick. Flamingo's Bar And Grille is located between Springhill Suites and Towne Marriott, It's on their property that shares amenities for the two hotels. It was raining one night, so instead of driving out miles away to a restaurant, we decided to just walk downstairs from our hotel room to order food at Flamingo's. We went for a "Pepperoni Pizza" ($16.95). Its 12" size. The pizza tasted okay because the quality was average. It's slightly chewy in the middle, but I did like the amount of cheese toppings so it made up for something. Its expensive, tourist pricing as expected. For appetizers we ordered "Chicken Wings" Its 8 pieces. We did find them pretty tasty. It comes with blue cheese. I was puzzled about the two very small pieces of celery that was included. The lady at the counter who took our order was friendly. Inside the restaurant feels new and clean. The place is not too big, however there's an outdoor patio that faces the pool area for more seating. Also, there's a bar inside with a big screen to follow sporting events on TV. Normally, I would prefer either cooking a meal in a hotel rooms kitchenette or dining at a restaurant offsite just to do away hotel quality food and pricing, but on a rainy night in Orlando places like these at your hotel stay is convenient. read more

I thought the notion that bad Mexican food in Florida was dispelled years ago, but this place is waving the flag with pride. The absolute worst chicken Quesadilla I've ever had...just mush. Had to request salsa and the server brought out one of those tiny condiment cups that was half full, I mean c'mon. Speaking of servers, I sat at the bar prepared to enjoy cocktails and lively conversation. These people were having none of it as they were much more interested in talking to each other and avoiding any customer contact. Needless to say I left after one drink. We stayed at the Springhill Suites here right outside of Disney World and the food here was excellent. Usually you thing of hotel as "subpar" and only good for late night/quick service. This place was great, in fact there were times when we were out and chose to come back to the hotel to eat here. Definitely would recommend. read more

Our waitress was so nice and so attentive! I love how open the inside seating is and that there is an outside bar with seating. All poolside! I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised! Good food and good portion sizes. I loooved their lemonade as well. Decent prices - definitely would have expected things to be more expensive since it's associated with the hotels. Still a bit on the pricey side considering the amount of food you get. We didn't try any dessert in the restaurant but the hotel lobbies have frozen yogurt - amazing! I wouldn't make any special trips to come to Flamingo's, but it's fine for lunch or dinner if you're staying at one of the neighboring hotels. The service is quick, and they have a full bar. The prices are ok, and the food was fine. It's not the best food I've ever had, but I don't have any complaints about it either. They menu does have a pretty big variety, so you'll probably be able to find something you like. You can sit either inside or outside at the pool bar. read more

I wish I would have read the reviews prior to ordering. We're staying at the Springhill Suites and it's raining so I went to the grille. I walked in, sat at the bar and waited. Nobody in sight. Kept waiting as I was starving. Finally a waitress comes out and I order the chicken tenders. THE WORST CHICKEN TENDERS I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! They were processed rubber garbage that you can definitely tell are frozen. I couldn't even bring myself to eat them. I sent it back for a burger. Here's to hoping it's not worse than the chicken! Gross! Updated to add: no. The burger is not any better than the chicken. I added Mayo, mustard, and ketchup, and I still choked on it because it was so dry. The food here is over priced for quality. I got the strawberry fields salad one day and added chicken. I don't think it should be called strawberry fields when they only give you two strawberry's. I really expected a few more pieces than that! The chicken was bland almost like it was boiled. I got the loaded fries another time. When the fries were brought to me they were cold. The cheese that was melted on them had hardened. I think they microwaved the fries after putting the cheese on them because the cheese was actually burned in some places and that only happens if put in the microwave for too long. A third time I tried the chicken sandwich but got it without the bread. The chicken was so dry and charred in some spots. I love grilled chicken and don't mind a little charring but this was just too much. And the dryness of it made it not enjoyable. I would not recommend eating here. However, do grab a drink. The two bartenders that work in the evenings on Friday and Saturday nights are awesome! So nice and accommodating. Drinks are an ok price for a hotel bar. read more

It's typical sports bar type cuisine, nothing special... everything is just like yogurt. The one thing that was problem each of the four times we ate there over today. It was the service. We had a pretty rough couple visits to this bar/restaurant. Group of 5, one ordered a Cobb salad. All the meals came, but the salad was missing dressing. That in and of itself is ok and not a big deal, but the wait staff took so long bringing the dressing that the other 4 people finished their meals before the dressing arrived. 2nd and last visit, ordered a Jack and diet coke. The diet coke was completely flat. No apologies, no real acknowledgement other than a fresh drink poured. Next, ordered another Cobb salad, but the avocado had a lemon juice/rotten taste to it....just ate around it. Strong management is needed to shake things up and right the ship. Absolutely loved our server Valerie. She was energetic, genuine, fun and accurate. She visited table many times. Always attentive to our needs despite being busy. The manager Tommy visited our table several times to check on us. When our family dines we like quality service and high quality people. Food reviews are so subjective so leaving that to the critics. Love the convenience in hotel. Wife and I like to have a few drinks and don't have to worry about getting in car. The food was very good. Had pizza with meatballs. Crispy crust and delicious meatballs with a slight spice. The coconut shrimp was battered nicely and crisp. Sunset on the Beach drink was excellent if looking for a sweet drink. After reading other reviews, my expectations were low, but not having any nearby options, we gave it a try. Much to our surprise, it was awesome. Collectively, we had quesadillas and the "loaded fries" for apps, and for entrees we shared the Philly cheese sandwich and NY sirloin. All of them were outstanding. Literally, everything seemed fresh. Prices were fine, especially considering it's Disney and no options. Service was great: we initially sat outside but retreated inside as a thunderstorm came about- no issues. Our server was pleasant and urgent. For a hotel restaurant the food is great. The wings, burgers and fries are great. Two items keep me from posting five stars. 1) the skimpy drink pours for the dollar amount (as much as Disney) and 2) the servers and bartenders aren't rude but certainly don't seem happy to be there. You will get luke warm welcomes at best. read more

My family and I visited Flamingo's Bar and Grille, after checking in to our hotel, for dinner. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wings, french fries and onion rings. The food came out hot, our fries and onion rings were a beautiful golden brown and delicious. I had my wings cooked well done and they were crispy but still juicy and tasty. My husband had the Flamingo burger which came with fries. He said the burger was delicious. So there you go. The restaurants atmosphere is very nice, right by the pool and the food is yummy.
