To tell you Monday night sharing with some friends we suddenly got very hungry, but it was 11:00 pm of course in FL there are not many options for places open at that time of night so we decided to go to this place that is open until 4:00 a.m. We found parking quickly, then we entered while they directed us to our table, because I observed the style of the restaurant, it's like a sports bar environment. Although some of their menu items are/can be delicious, Flanigan's wouldn't be my first choice when dining out. The wait time is always over an hour long, sometimes more than two depending on the day of the week that you visit. I will say that their wings and their firecracker shrimp are great, they're my go to items when I visit. The piña colada is very creamy, it doesn't taste much like alcohol but it is well made. I would say that the menu items are moderately priced, same as a regular chain restaurant. The restaurant is always LOUD and super PACKED. I think this is more of a Miami staple but I personally think it is okay! read more

Service is really bad, we have been waiting over an hour with four empty tables on front of us (outdoors), very upset. After an hour an twenty min our party was called and guess what half restaurant was empty too.. lots of workers but not much work done. They keep sneaking people in the list. You get to the place and get added to the waiting list. All of sudden People who you have not seen show up and you jump to places or three back in the list adding an extra 10 minutes. Staff needs to put their story together. This place is a mess! Don't try calling at night because they won't even pick up the phone then, online ordering is confusing as it has ASAP and then "next day" in parentheses. Went to the Flanny's in Hialeah last night. It's definitely a go-to late night spot at least once every two weeks for myself and friends. Mikey is our go to server and he's amazing! Last night though we had a new server (pretty sure her name was Heidi) and she was phenomenal! She came and got our drink and appetizer orders quickly and they came quickly too. She also got our food order and everything came perfect and fast as well. Flanigan's is a staple of the south Florida area. This is another restaurant that I think has the perfect combination of price and flavor. They have great lunch specials and meal deals. You can get a full meal with salad, bread, and a drink for as low as $16 dollars. Definitely Recommend the wings, and their baby back ribs. I came here for my lunch break and I can't stress this enough, this is the best bang for your buck for lunch in Miami. I ordered a pillar dark rum and pineapple juice and this combo just tastes so right. As far as lunch I went with the lunch combo consisting of 10 wings and a side of fries for $6.99! That's one amazing deal right there. The service was quick as i recommend to sit at the bar for the quickest turnaround service. The ambiance is very casual and always very lit up in the color green. Came for dinner with my kids , not great. They had grilled chicken and fries, the fries were ok but the chicken was poorly seasoned. I had the fish tacos, another underwhelming experience. The amount of lettuce to fish was almost insulting and it wasn't seasoned lettuce so it bogged down the flavor of the tacos in general. Huge tomato chunks just falling out. I ordered it with a side of grilled vegetables and honestly that was the best part of the entire meal. 45 minute wait and $38 later we're not happy with our dining experience. Mind you, one of the children's meals was free because they hand a promotional reward they received at school. I used to come here a lot as a teenager and I could've sworn the food was better. Flanigan's is the best restaurant for ribs and burgers. I ordered a 10 oz burger today and it was DELICIOUS. Best burger I have had in a long time. I love the ambiance of this sports bar. We come to this Flanigan's all the time! We always love the service and food. I ordered the NY strip with a salad and it was amazing! The only reason I don't ever give Flanigan's 5 stars is the people that go there. There were some people with motorcycles obnoxiously reving their engines for the whole time we were there and we were sitting outside so I couldn't hear my wife talking to me at dinner. Service is awful, if you go more than a couple of times you get ignored. Jimmy Flanigan should remove Andy from the store in Hialeah. I went yesterday and I found a bug in my food and instead of comping the check he said oh so sorry. I know a lot of people who used to go there that have stopped going because of the Gen managers behavior. We implore Jimmy to pls change Andy to another Flannigan's. It's a shame because the food is good but the bar maids that have been there a long time act just like Andy ,that's why they are there not because they're good at their job. For example Lala tried to work in another Flanigan but couldn't do it because no other manager would put up with her behavior but of course she went back to her Andy who actually encourages her to act like Bit##, all the good employees are gone from #9.
