I stopped by here late Friday evening with some friends for a quick bite, but unfortunately, I was not impressed by the staff and the level of service. This location is beautiful and newly rebuilt, with a bright and lively atmosphere that you would expect from any Flanigan's if you're familiar with the chain. We were a group of five and asked to be seated as soon as we walked in. The restaurant wasn't crowded; there were plenty of empty tables, many were dirty and waiting to be cleaned ones though. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait, which wasn't a big deal. A few minutes passed, and we noticed the waitstaff was just standing around, chatting with one another, while dirty tables remained unattended. After a bit more time passed and nothing had been done, someone from my group asked how much longer the wait would be. We were told they were waiting for a specific table to leave so they could clean it for us. This didn't seem very logical, considering there were plenty of other tables that were empty and just needed cleaning. Eventually, the customers left, the table was cleaned and we were seated. Our server assisted us right away, and everyone placed their orders. The food came out a little while later, but some items were wrong and had to be sent back to be corrected. I was really looking forward to coming here, the old Flanigan's was destroyed in a fire but prior to that we were always able to get good food and drinks from here. The place looks fantastic now that it is rebuilt and remodeled. It seems so much bigger than before. They offer something called Joe's Meal Deals which come with your choice of entree that also comes with a Caesar salad, garlic rolls, a side item and a drink. For only $19, my husband and I both got the prime rib. It was so delicious and perfectly cooked medium rare as we both requested. It comes with au jus and we also asked for some horseradish sauce. It was a perfect meal. Our server was awesome! Our drinks were kept full and anything we needed she got for us within minutes. They have a late night happy hour that starts at 10 with great deals and they have specials on certain days where if you order a pitcher of soda or beer you get that daily special free ( nachos, tumbleweed onions, fish dip, wings). Also, I can't forget about their great $6.99 (with a drink) lunch special. There are plenty of big screens to watch games on all throughout the place and the music they were playing was really good. The only negative is the parking. The lot gets full quickly and easily so I can see that being an issue. Great place, great food and great prices! read more

Made the mistake of coming in on the Saturday before St Patrick's day. It was very busy and VERY loud. There was a bagpiper that was pleasant, but the bar staff were blowing whistles and it was so loud we couldn't hear each other from across the table. When the bagpiper was finished they turned the music on up to 90 db. I know this because my Apple Watch alerted me to the dangerous noise level! I just wanted to have a pleasant dinner and some good Flannigans food. It was so unpleasant I will think twice about patronizing this establishment. read more

Flanigan's is located in Hollywood, Florida. This restaurant has a few locations around South Florida. It has been a place I grew up going a lot to. It is a Sport's Bar with numerous TV's around. They have booths, high-tops, and bar seating. This location has recently been updated and completely remodeled in the past year. The parking lot is not adequate for the size of the restaurant. It could be difficult to find parking so just be prepared. This is truly a must go when in South Florida. The prices are great, and the food is always good. Inside is very South Florida, fishing, boating, dark wood tones, etc. Their decor is very unique. We usually have to wait for a table, even at lunch. I do really enjoy that they have tons of specials, both food and drinks. Most of their drink specials do involve beer but liquor specials are also available. We usually come here for a quick lunch when we are visiting our family. Monday through Friday they have really great lunch specials that are under $15. Recently we visited for lunch with the family. We all ordered the lunch specials except for my husband. He ordered one of their salads and added chicken to it. It was a very large salad, and the chicken was nicely blackened. My dad and I ordered their burger with fries. They have curly fries! A Plus! The burger was giant! It was cooked so well and was very good. They do burgers really well here. I always ask for the fries to be crispy; they did take a little longer to come out, but they were perfectly crispy, hot and delicious. My mom ordered the crab salad sandwich, which she loves and always gets, with soup. The lunch specials are great because you can get fries, a baked potato, rice, soup or side salad. My sister ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich with rice. The chicken was topped with crispy onion rings. Their portions, even for lunch, are so big. We all had food to take home. We always have to start here with their garlic rolls. They are covered in butter and garlic and parmesan cheese. They are so delicious. Very great garlic flavor without leaving that garlic taste lingering. One of their other really awesome specials is their meal deals. These are offered Sunday through Thursday and vary from $15.99 to $24.99. They also include a side salad, garlic rolls and a drink. For these I would recommend the steak or the prime rib. Both are excellent but all the items are really good. Overall, this is a great location. The food is always great. It's not fancy in any means, but it is a great spot. I highly recommend this if you are in South Florida. Watch a game, have a meal and just enjoy the space. Definitely worth checking it out. read more

I came here last night with some family and let me say that everything was honestly exceptional when it came to this place aside from parking. Trying to find a spot here on a Saturday evening was one of the toughest things and almost decided not to come here anymore because of how horrible the parking was. Luckily we were able to find a couple spots and proceeded to go in. The entire place was basically rebuilt from the ground up after a fire a few years ago. I absolutely love the new layout and it seems so much larger because you don't have to navigate different Halls to find seating. The staff working the front desk were super friendly and told us it was going to be about an hour wait however we only waited about 25 or 30 minutes before we were called to our seats. Our waitress was super attentive and got our drink order and appetizer order and we received it in almost no time. My only issue was a couple little tiny things however I did order one beer and received a completely different one, so I hope that in the future they make sure they know exactly which beer they are giving each person that is ordering at the table aside from that the beer was ice cold and refreshing! The nachos were absolutely massive and the chili and beans as well as the lettuce and tomato they put on the chips were flavored wonderfully and the chips had a perfect crunch to them. I decided to get the Swiss cheeseburger with grilled mushrooms and grilled onions medium rare. It was a little more on the rare side so I definitely think that it needs to be cooked longer next time especially because the burger was so thick it can easily be undercooked accidentally. The fries were very good as well and had a nice amount of salt on them however for me I wish they were a little more crunchy. The prices were very reasonable with this massive burger that I ordered running about $13. I could only eat half of it and ended up taking the other half home to enjoy later. Always been a big fan of Flanigans. This particular location I've gone for years and a few years ago, it burned down because of an issue in the kitchen. They rebuilt and this location has now been open for almost 1 year. Everything is brand new and I feel more modernized compared to other flanigans. We went on a Sunday for dinner around 6pm and had to wait maybe 10-15 minutes for a table. They will take your number and add you on a waitlist. Pretty cool you can see your place in line on the Yelp app. Our waiter was very attentive of us. Since it was Sunday, we were able to order from Joe's meal deals which provides a salad, garlic bread, your meal and your option of either beer or wine (no spirits). It's a good bang for your buck. I had Sirloin steak with baked potato and my wife had the chicken wings with curly fries. You can never go wrong with neither. This restaurant is family friendly and has lots of options to seat - whether it's a booth, at the bar, tall tables, or outdoor seating. We will definitely be coming back soon. read more

Flanigan's is a fun but typical time. Despite it's decade-long history, everything felt "just fine" but great at it. The servers were attentive and friendly enough and the food was tasty but felt like it was on the verge of being delicious. The atmosphere was standard for this restaurant type. Still totally satisfactory in a pleasurable way. The smoked fish dip was the most delicious item on the menu, which is a double-edged sword because shouldn't the main course be better than the appetizer? I have been going to Flanigan's for many years and, until last night, I had never had a bad experience. I was looking forward to celebrating a great week after our successful internal audit at work. We waited about 25-30 minutes for a table, which was completely understandable, and we had no problem with the wait. Once we were seated, everything started off well. The employee who seated us immediately asked what we wanted to drink. Shortly afterward, the manager came over to take our order. As I started placing my order, he walked away to get a notepad so he could write everything down and make sure it was correct. I appreciated that attention to detail. Unfortunately, our order still came out incomplete. We were missing our fries, carrots, and celery, and we repeatedly had to flag down different servers just to get assistance because we couldn't find our server. I am not someone who normally complains, but I do believe that restaurants succeed because of their customers. While the customer isn't always right, it is the restaurant's responsibility to provide good service and make customers feel valued. For me, great customer service is just as important as the food. What disappointed me the most was that one of the servers we had to flag down appeared visibly annoyed that we were asking for help. If interacting with guests during busy times is frustrating, then perhaps customer service isn't the right fit. My friend even commented on how irritated that server seemed after we had repeatedly asked someone to locate our server. I do want to recognize the employees at the bar, who were absolutely wonderful. I also believe it was the assistant manager who stopped by to ask if we needed anything, and I truly appreciated that gesture. This experience has not changed my opinion of Flanigan's as a whole. I still enjoy the restaurant and plan to continue visiting. However, I will not be returning to this particular location because the level of service we received simply did not reflect the positive experiences I've had with Flanigan's over the years. I hope you will share this feedback with the management team, not as a complaint for the sake of complaining, but as an opportunity to improve the customer experience. Probably one of the worse Flanigan's I've been too. Burgers way too salty. Had to ask for extra toppings for the baked potato they hardly put anything on it. She was friendly, super sweet and very professional. I wanted to try a new drink, since I normally always get the same thing. She suggested the grand bahama mojito, and it was amazing. My son ordered the ribs, with coleslaw and a loaded bake potato. I ordered the half rack of ribs and shimp with fries. I can't forget about the dessert now... Flanigan's is a staple in South Florida but the what made this time stand out was the phenomenal service provided by our server Jaz. She was patient, friendly and fulfilled our requests right away. The food was also delicious. I ordered the Joe's Rockin' Rib Rolls, Firecracker Shrimp, Pasta Salad and the ten wings Joe's Meal Deal. The rib rolls were crispy and tasty and the firecracker shrimp were cooked to perfection. The pasta salad was very good as well. The meal deal is amazing as it includes a drink, Caesar salad and 3 garlic rolls. The kitchen gave us additional garlic rolls and I thought was nice of them to do. The chicken wings and fries were also delicious and the garlic rolls were fingerlicking good. The only thing I wished was that the Caesar salad to have more toppings or dressing, as it was mostly lettuce. The ambiance of the restaurant is very chill. I grew up going to flannigans. The fries and wings are my favorite. Unfortunately this location is the worst. Tonight my husband and I sat at the bar ATTEMPTING to give this location one more chance as it is closest to our house. We ordered drinks and a basket of fries before ordering our meal. I asked for lime in my drink and had to ask twice. My husband asked for buffalo sauce with his fries and that didn't happen. Never received plates or ketchup or even water to drink. The fries were hard, old, and tiny pieces. The staff were so focused on cleaning the bar an hour before closing instead of servicing the customer. This restaurant is very poorly run and it starts with management. We had to wait 15 minutes to receive plates and ketchup and water. Getting a second round of drinks took forever. Never once did anyone ask if everything was okay. We were very upset. We ordered our food to go, then my husband had to get up to tell the bartender we were stepping outside for one moment (while waiting on our to go order) and we were CHASED DOWN to ask for us to give a card for them to hold. Wrong move!!!!! That was the only time we were asked something without having to BEG for someone to notice we were unhappy from the beginning. I asked the bar tender immediately to take the fries off our check. She threw us a to go box and was so rude and disrespectful instead of recognizing how wrong it was to be a customer waiting on a service while being ignored repeatedly. They have specials everyday and usually some sort of free food with the purchase of a pitcher of beer. The really great flanigans that I have honestly never had any problems with. I will say that the service has been slow at times when I have eaten here with friends and family but nothing detrimental that deserves to have stars taken away! They always have amazing deals and food specials going on and I usually end up getting a cheeseburger here because, even if it is old-fashioned, I have never been disappointed! Their meat quality is very great and every time I get it cooked the way I want it is ordered and delivered perfectly. The lettuce and tomato always seem fresh and the cheese is always melted to perfection. They season the meat of the burger wonderfully and the bread has a perfect amount of crunch and give to it! Prices are very reasonable and the deals they have going on during the week are great! The layout of this place is very easy to navigate and I love how many decorations are on the walls.
