12/4/25- 2:30pm-After living in South Florida on and off for 25 years I finally made my way to the infamous Flanigan's! Wow! It was amazing! A warm welcome from the Host Stand and I chose to sit at the bar. Welcomed by the Bartender Extraordinaire-Krystal! She is a powerhouse of hospitality! Always smiling and greeting everyone who sat at the bar by name and preparing their drinks before they even sat down! It was as though another family member just joined the group! Give this young lady a raise! She immediately made me feel comfortable and informed me of their specials. As a widow approaching an all male bar scene could be a bit intimidating. Not with Krystal at the helm! I had been hearing about the Cheeseburgers for years so I decided quickly on the Flanigan's CheeseBurger medium rare. It did not disappoint! It's huge! 10 oz perfectly cooked and piping hot! The grilled onions and mushrooms were delicious! The meat was so yummy! I can't say enough about my experience! We usually have a good experience at Flanigan's but when we went for dinner on Thanksgiving, pretty much everything did not go well. Waitlist Process: After patiently waiting to move from position 15 to position 1 on the waitlist, we were unhappy when the hostess seated the people who were next on the list while we continued to wait. When we approached the hostess stand to ask about it, she quickly sat us without an apology or even any explanation. Something went awry with the process. Where's Our Server? After waiting several minutes while servers passed by our table, we finally flagged one down and asked for our server. She showed up a few minutes later without an apology or even any acknowledgement that she was delayed. Shortage of Thanksgiving Dinner Specials: When we requested the Thanksgiving dinners, we were told they had run out over an hour before. It wasn't even 6 pm and the dinners were all gone. Although Flanigan's did mention in their promotional material the Thanksgiving meals would be available "while supplies last", we thought it would be reasonable for them to last until early dinner. I guess at Flanigan's Thanksgiving only lasts until lunch time. Even though I am a member of the Flanigan "fan club", I didn't receive an email about the Thanksgiving offer until the day before the holiday. It wasn't even listed on Flanigan's website. With minimal notification, I expected the demand would be light as most people would have made Thanksgiving dinner plans more than one day in advance. This situation was very frustrating as the hostess never mentioned the meals had sold out. Over-Cooked Burger: Since we couldn't have the Thanksgiving dinner, I ordered the Flanigan burger, which I usually enjoy. I requested that it be cooked to a medium temperature. Instead, it was cooked to well-done and was very dry. The server never returned to check on us until I was more than halfway through my meal, so I unhappily ate the burger rather than wait for another one to be prepared. (See Where's Our Server? paragraph above) Noise Level: Every TV near us was tuned into the football game. Not a problem except the sound was turned up very high. We had difficulty holding a quiet conversation. No one in the dining area was watching the game and there was no reason why the volume needed to be so high. In fact, my wife had to clarify her order because the server did not properly hear her (Cajun CHICKEN pasta, please. Not cajun shrimp pasta) Where's Our Server Part Deux: Our seemingly non-existent server did not even check on us during our meal to see if we needed our drinks refilled. We usually experience good service at Flanigan's so this service seemed particularly poor in comparison. No manager ever stopped by our table either. Another service failure in my mind. Conclusion: Will we continue to dine at Flanigan's? Probably, but we won't be rushing back. Will we go for Thanksgiving? Not likely. Hopefully we will have a better experience next time. I would have given this a 1-star rating, but my wife did enjoy her cajun chicken pasta, although even the accompanying coleslaw was not as creamy or as tasty as usual. Been a regular at flanigans for a bit. food is good, good deals, atmosphere is good for the bar. No complaints about that. This review is about the service. We were there at Memorial Day for lunch, and our server Bailey was rude, condescending to not only me but to the whole party. Not only to our table, I saw her treat other guests the same way. I would ask something simple about the policy change, and she would raise her voice with an attitude as she answered me. When I ask any other questions she would give an attitude. Plus, she got our order wrong when we ordered off the lunch special menu. When I got the tab and noticed, she gave an attitude. She fixed it, but while being condescending. The tab was fixed, so thank her for that. But the rudeness in her, does not excuse herself to act like that in a working environment. My husband and I love Flanigan's so whenever we get a chance to go to South Florida, we must get it. We came around 1:30pm on a Sunday. They were busy but we only waited about 30 minutes or less. The restaurant was COVERED in St. Patrick's day decor. It looked very cool and I'm sure it took SO MUCH work to do it. Our waiter was Zachary. He had the most positive and friendly attitude ever. I don't think the smile ever left his face. It did feel like it took a long time to get our food and our check at the end. We didn't leave until about 4pm. But we were with friends and had a great time. The food was delicious!!! We came specifically for the Rockn' Rib Rolls. They were so good that I forgot to take a picture before we ate them up. This was my family's first time dining at this particular Flanigan's. We arrived at about 11:30 for lunch the day after Thanksgiving. Our party of 9 was seated almost immediately. Within a few minutes, almost every table was full. Despite the busyness, the service and food were excellent. The garlic rolls and nachos we ordered for appetizers arrived quickly as did our drinks. We were able to take advantage of the $6.99 lunch with beverage purchase special. Some of us ordered burgers, wings, or tilapia. All were excellent, served hot and fresh. The children's meals are a great value and make me want to order one for myself. Our friendly server refilled our drinks and bussed the table throughout the meal. Rest rooms were clean as well. Went for a Mother's Day lunch. We wanted outside and were seated within 5 minutes . Nice and quiet and breezy day. The lunch specials were reasonably priced and with extras as it included an entree, side, bread and drink. The service was quick and good too. I orders the prime rib and it was juicy and tender to taste. My son ordered from the regular menu so they server said my drink would just go with his meal since I didn't want one. This place is always busy, but it's always a good time. Decorations for every season, and friendly staff. We come here primarily for the wings and burgers. They are so good and flavorful. I don't know what's going on at Flanigan's Seafood Bar and Grill, but the hostesses on Sunday, May 3rd were some of the most unprofessional, rude, and flat-out disrespectful people I've ever encountered. We were told a 10-minute wait. Fine. Not a problem. But after standing there for over 25 minutes with zero updates, I politely asked how much longer and you would've thought I committed a crime. The blonde hostess had an attitude from the second we walked in, acting annoyed that she even had to acknowledge us. When I asked a simple question, she got visibly irritated and responded with pure attitude. The brunette wasn't any better actually, she might've been worse. Constant eye rolling, nasty looks, whispering comments, and just overall mean-girl behavior. It was beyond unprofessional it was embarrassing for them. Watching grown employees act like middle school bullies is wild. And the manager? Standing right there, watching it all happen, doing absolutely nothing. That alone tells you everything about how this place is being run. What really sealed it was watching these two openly make fun of other customers walking by. Not even trying to hide it. Just straight-up mocking people. It was disgusting behavior. And no, this isn't an "older generation complaining" situation I'm 23. This was just straight-up rude, immature, and trashy behavior from staff who clearly shouldn't be working the front of a restaurant. It's honestly sad because we used to come here all the time, and the servers and bartenders are great. But the front-of-house staff? Completely toxic. They are the first impression of your restaurant, and right now that impression is terrible. I will absolutely never be coming back. I'm extremely disappointed with our recent experience at Flanigan's Seafood Bar and Grill. This has always been one of our favorite spots, which makes this even more frustrating to write. From the moment we walked in, the hostesses were incredibly rude and unprofessional. We were quoted a wait time, which we were completely fine with but we ended up waiting far beyond that with zero communication. When I politely asked for an update, I was met with attitude and a look that made me feel completely disrespected. It only got worse. When we were finally seated, I overheard the hostess making rude, unnecessary comments about me and my family. For a party of just three people, the way we were treated was honestly shocking. I understand young staff need experience, and age isn't the issue but the behavior, whispering, and mean comments about customers was the worst I've ever witnessed in a restaurant. The only bright spot of the night was our server, who was kind, attentive, and truly great at his job. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to make up for how uncomfortable and unwelcome the front-of-house staff made us feel. Went here for lunch with a party of 10 and the service was pretty quick. The restaurant was very clean and well decorated for Christmas. Love that many of the fish displays had a Christmas hat on. The kids kept pointing them out. We got some appetizers for the table which can never go wrong with garlic rolls and our entrees the Philly cheesesteak which always hits the spot. Usually my go to place but tonight I just felt out of sorts! I felt like I was in a nightclub, the music was so loud, you could not have a conversation. I ordered what I always order is grilled salmon with steamed broccoli. The salmon was very dry. I ate a few pieces of broccoli I sent it back. The waitress was very nice. Her name was Gwen. Quick update from my previous review. Bottom line is I still love Flanigan's and this location is my favorite. Great lunch specials during the week. Great burgers and ribs. On my last visit I had the 1/2 rack & swapped the fries for the pasta salad. They have the best ribs here. Messy but so good! Although my server was busy with a few large tables, she was so nice and friendly! If I can change one thing, I would suggest that ownership gets some wifi. I recommend the burgers, wings, ribs and the rib rolls. I usually swap out the fries for their pasta salad which is always good. Flanigan's is a favorite of mine. Very disappointed! Have been to this place several times and last evening's visit was awful. Ordered a full rack of ribs to share with my wife. Was only offered on side dish (she wanted a baked potato and I ordered a side of dirty rice which I had to pay extra for). Every other time we have been there, we have gotten two side dishes with the meal. The ribs were burnt! I was very hungry so I ate my half because we couldn't get the attention of the waitress. My wife did not eat her half and when we finally got the waitress, my wife was given a new half rack of ribs. The new rack was burnt on the outside , but partly raw on the inside.
