Dingy. Not appealing. Had a chicken Cesar salad and the chicken was just a little too "chewy" on the brink of being not cooked thoroughly. When we told the girl that we were concerned about the temp of the chicken she told us that's how they cooked their chicken and they serve it on the chewy side. Yeah no thank you. I placed an online order tonight. Was supposed to be ready at 6:41pm. I sent my son to pickup the order. It wasn't ready until 7:20pm. That's for starters. After placing my order #312 online I called and specifically asked for two of their special horseradish sauce that goes with the Tuna steak(there wasn't anywhere to ask online for that condiment). The Mgr came out and apologized for the order taking so long. Upon delivery of the order to my son in his truck, he was told everything was in the bag. When my son arrived home, there was no horseradish sauce and no salad dressing as well. When I called and asked to speak to the Mgr, he got on the phone and identified himself as Jim Flanagan. Said they were real busy and it's the customers fault/responsibility to check the order. Said to take it up with Corporate. So not only was the order approximately 35-40 late for pickup it's our fault for missing items/condiments. Nice way to treat and speak with customers. Patrons, be aware, Flanagan's could care less about your time and your order. BTW. This was for two dinners. 40 minutes late, incorrect, and basically told to go pound sand by the Mgr. read more

Usually stop by for a happy hour or work function when we have them on the patio area. Nice view outside, and if the weather is good, highly recommend sitting outside. Other than that, its your typical Flannigans in terms of food, pricing, etc. read more

Went here today and while the food was good. The waitress was very unattentive and we felt very rushed as the main meals came out 2 mins after our salads which we were all still eating. So with all the food on the table it was hard to maneuver cuz of the lack of space. Not sure if I will go back to this location. read more

Great drinks and we love to sit at the bar because we get quick service. We basically eat there every day. Awesome burgers, great blackened fish, dolphin fingers and perfect for kids :) They have a big table by the play area and kids can eat there without a problem, when their are done, they go to the game area to play air hockey and pack man so we can have another diet coke ;) and of course kids eat and play under our supervision ;) read more

We finally ate at the Flanigan's in Weston The food was good. Our server was not. SWMBO and I went with two children for an early after-church lunch. I think our server, Richard, doesn't like parties with children. If he does, he needs to adjust his demeanor. At any rate, his inattentive and somewhat dismissive service resulted in a 14 percent tip and it was almost a 9% tip when my wife considered only giving him the change that came back from the payment. She couldn't bring herself to do that. You see, we normally tip VERY well for just regular good service. Like 25%. If you are a star, you do even better. I've been in the biz for 30 years. I am on the servers side. Not this one though. When our little three-year-old didn't care for her lemonade, my wife asked if she could just have a water. We didn't ask for the lemonade to be taken off the bill. We just wanted her to have something she would drink. The disgusted look and snatch of the cup off the table was uncalled for. We asked nicely. When I received my bloody mary, it was in a 6 oz rocks glass. Kind of a surprise on a Sunday when you figure on those drinks being in at least a highball or Collins glass. Now, I had been told the drinks were half price at the time. Really not a big special if it's just half size though, right? Richard asked if I wanted spicy or not. I asked for medium spicy. He asked what vodka I wanted. I asked if they had Tanquery and he told me Tanqueray is gin. I told him they also have vodka, but if they didn't have it I would take Absolut. Again, this guy needs to work on his expressions. he had a look like I was full of shit. Anyway, the mary was vodka and tomato juice on the rocks with MAYBE a drop of tobasco and a cocktail straw. Am I wrong in thinking that I should have maybe a celery stalk, some celery salt on the rim or an olive impaled on a toothpick sword here? What a sad drink. Not even a wedge of lime. When he came back around, I didn't say a word about the drink. I just asked if I could please have a glass of water (6 oz of beverage was not going to cut it and I was not ordering another cocktail after this) and a wedge of lime. !) MINUTES later, I had to ask someone else to bring it. Bad waiter... very bad. But the food was great. I had the Smoked Fish Dip. It was wonderfully mild and smoky and was served with fresh tortilla chips, some packaged crackers and celery and carrot sticks. NOW I had celery for my pissant drink. LOL My wife had Stuffed Potato Skins that were very good. Molly had a mini corndog platter with fries which she couldn't finish, so I had a few. they were nice and crispy and had a wonderful savory sweet corn batter. Burt had chicken wings and mac and cheese. the mac was REALLY cheesy and the wings looked a little overdone, but Burt was raving that they were the way a friend of his makes them and he was a fan. We eat at Quarterdecks all the time, and we have seen this place here and kept saying we would try it. The place is clean and well appointed. The food was very good. If we come again, we will just be sure Richard doesn't wait on us. read more

I used to come here a lot to drink with my friends at the bar. Last time I was there, we got a table and got drinks and appetizers, I ordered a vodka tonic. The waitress brought out what seemed to be plain tonic water, no vodka, no lime, no ice, no stirring straw. SO i called over the waitress and informed her of their mistake, she referred me to the manager who was the rudest woman I've ever encountered at a restaurant. She was arguing with me, and finally brought out a shot of vodka and a lime out to my table so I could "make my drink myself"... never coming back here again... the bar food is alright, the drinks are cheap, but their service and fish sucks big time. read more

Few weeks ago I went to Flannigan to eat with families member that came to visit and the manager and the bartender refuse to accommodate my request to add cheese to my french fries there were going to Put cheese on my nachos and my potato skin, but refuse to put it on my fries and would not make a exception, so we left and will never go there again, I guess they don't really need the business read more

We came here for lunch, they were pretty busy. Took about 30 min to sit everyone down. Due to the fact we had a huge party of 13 people. We were pretty excited for the food so we didn't mind the wait. I ordered cajun shrimp pasta, the texture and taste wasn't what I expect. I would give it a 3 out of 10. They took very long to bring everyone order. We had to order carry out boxes with our entrees. Most likely won't be going back for awhile. I'd actually give a 1.5 We've always been a little leery about Flanigans since we believe that our credit card was compromised in the Pompano Beach location a few years back. But a neighbor brought me back recently and it was good. So when we moved to Weston, we gave it a shot at lunch. It was pretty quiet, so on par, everything was as it should be. A second recent visit at dinner was crowded but still ok. My biggest complaint is that the outside is not accessible to me because of the stupid Florida smoking laws. Covered by walls on three sides and a ceiling - its still considered outdoors so these idiots can kill themselves and the surrounding people (and children) with smoke. Last night we arrived and were told it was a 30 minute wait. So, to the bar we went and sat there for 10 minutes while the 4 bartenders avoided eye contact and didn't have to serve us. When one of them finally did, she immediately rang it up, and handed us our bill. Apparently she wasn't interested to see if we would want a second drink on a tab like the rest of the bar. Once we were sat, we placed our order for apps and instinctively waited to add our entrees. When we did, we made it clear verbally that we did not want our food until we were done with our apps. Well, the apps showed up and 2 minutes later here come the salads. Then 5 minutes after that here come entrees. (one of which was cold and the other looked like we had interrupted something the way it was thrown together.) The child that was the runner asked if we wanted her to return the food. Yeah, not falling for that one. Now full disclosure, the manager took the two apps off the bill, and told us it wasn't the waitresses fault - but it was a chaotic dinner. I got the impression that everyone that was working there would have rather been somewhere else. The service there overall last night really stunk. It was an attempt to return to a place we were looking forward to being our neighborhood casual go to, but it isn't meant to be. And to be honest, I'm done with Florida restaurants that keep half of their property away from their customers for the dummies smoking - something that Florida's own supreme court has ruled is not a right. Best service I have had in Weston thus far on this trip. Perhaps it was Christmas, but Sam was always there to give us what we needed without being bothersome. As far as appetizers go, the Tumbleweed Onions were on point. Thin, crispy and pilled high. All for under 5 bucks. Bargain! Of course, I had to try the ribs and got some shrimp to go along with it. The ribs were definitely fall off the bone. The sauce was competent. Not the best ribs I have ever had, but certainly ribs that hit the spot and that I would get again. The shrimp were exactly the same. The fries could have used a bit more flavor to them and this was even with honey mustard atop their curly selves. The whole meal was polished down with a brownie bonzai sundae, which while calorically challenged, did my mouth right. Fudgy brownie, ice cream, whipped cream, fudge, oreo pieces everywhere, and three kit kat bars. Yes, sir. Heaven! Apparently though this place gets really busy during the week around 7 to 9. The food is terrible. It's on par with chili's but mainly with seafood. if you want to die of a heart attack because of how much butter they put on everything, then this is the place to go. I ordered the steak and it came out swimming in a pool of butter. ORDER the garlic bread and you will see the lake of butter the bread is swimming in. As far as chain restaurants go, Flanigan's is one that I can keep coming back to. Particularly, the Weston location is my favorite. I can count on my burger coming out medium rare when I ask for it that way. I have not had the same luck at other locations. (in particular, Hallandale, last week, which consisted of an over-cooked burger and mediocre srevice). Service at the Weston location is better as well. Love that Texas burger. read more

Good atmosphere, like a marine dive bar / restaurant mix. Sharks, fish tanks, cool vibe. The food is tasty, and it's right on the lake. Patio is real cool. Bar seems good, and we did have to wait for a few minutes to be seated, but the place accommodates big parties too so no big deal. Good local spot. read more

Don't know why it was so popular and packed... I asked for seafood restaurant recommendation at the hotel I was staying at, and Flanigans was the closest of all the places he suggested, so decided to go one night. I was absolutely packed! With lots and lots of people waiting! My husband was too hungry to be waiting for 45 minutes to an hour, so we just found something close by (turned out not great, but that's another story). We left Flanigans unfed the first time, and since it was so busy, we thought it must be good, so returned on another day. This time, we were seated within 10 minutes or so. I wasn't too hungry, so I had the clam chowder and something else that wasn't really memorable. Overall, the food wasn't that good... Not sure why people seemed so crazy about that place. read more

I have been coming here for over15 years and I have never had a bad experience. The food is on point and the staff is always friendly and willing to please. Managers ALWAYS come to our table to ask how everything was. My only complaint is that they need more craft beer. They only have fat tire and what ever sam seasonal there is. Please get more craft beer!!! We love you but we're forced to drink good beer with bad service at Duffy's. Side note: if you want liquor they have a full bar. read more

Went here as a 2nd choice after a horrible experience at another restaurant in Dania Beach. We landed for a weekend of fun before I had to start work on New Years Day and went to a place I have been twice before to get some great prime rib. It ended badly and we didn't get to eat. So we went to our hotel and this place was close. What a great experience! The waitress was very friendly and informative and had our food out quickly! I wish I remembered her name so I could give her a shout out! And that prime rib was less expensive and even better than the one at the other restaurant would've been. read more

Flanigans is a good sports bar and grill. My favorite items are the bbq wings, the nachos, garlic rolls, and dolphin sandwich.

We just called to place an order for delivery and Alexandra told us that they were not taking orders for the next 20 minutes. We patiently waited as we are regulars there (now that changed to WERE). We called back in 20 minutes and were told to call back in 20 more minutes. Flanigans need to understand that we-customers have options. I guess they don't need customers to continue their operation. Oh well, we are taking our money somewhere else. Maybe another business will benefit from ours. Definitely not going back there again. read more

I don't usually write reviews for chain restaurants, I usually just write for smaller businesses but I felt compelled to write one for this Flanigan's location. After being hit by hurricane Irma, this location was open for business the very next day. To say it was a chaotic scene is an understatement, but I definitely have a newfound respect for this store. The GM was on the floor, doing anything from bussing tables, to seating people, to running food. They opened for business at 1pm and by the time I arrived at 1:30 there were about 50 people on the waitlist, but the hostess was pleasant and efficient, and didn't lose her temper at all, despite people being rude and getting mad at the wait times. We waited about an hour and half, and then once we were sat, the service was great as well. The waitress was quick, and all things considered, our food was out very fast and the whole experience was very smooth. I just want to commend the entire team at this location for a job very well done, and coming through for the community in a time of need. This isn't my neighborhood store but I think I will be making the drive back to Weston whenever I want to eat Flanigan's. read more

Flanigan's is not a fancy place and I wouldn't necessarily say it's the best if you're looking for a place to watch a game, but I am addicted to their garlic rolls and philly cheesesteak. Those things are the sole reason that I have been going back for the past 10 years (since I was in high school). To be honest, I have not ventured off to try anything there besides my favorites, a burger and dessert so I can't speak to the entire menu but I haven't heard anyone complain either so I think that's a good sign.
