The cheese curds were fantastic - better than several other popular chains. The wrap was good and the chicken was crisp. The fries and onion rings came out fresh and hot. As we sat there I noticed more people coming in to order so I think word of mouth will bring in more business. The menu is big which could be a little overwhelming but I'm thinking you can't go wrong with most choices. The cafe is not very large, or very fancy, but the staff was incredibly accommodating, including providing some things to do for the little ones in our group that were starting to get restless. The food was just okay, and while not really anything that I couldn't have done at home, the price was good and the location is in the middle of a super cute downtown area that reminded me of the town from Back to the Future (it's that cute!). One downside? The bathroom reminds me of something out of a lower-end gas station and definitely needs some help.

When I walked in, I went straight for the bathroom (Having been driving for hours) but it was locked so I assumed you needed a key for it. As she's finishing my order, another employee comes out of the bathroom and immediately confronts me at the register about how I need to learn how to knock first instead of rudely assuming no one is in the bathroom. To be clear, I definitely assumed it was open - there were no cars, no one in the store, and it's 10:30am. And again; I assumed it was like any number of places that require you to have a key to unlock them... either way; it's crazy terrible customer service to speak to anyone the way that woman with the short hair and glasses spoke to me. She could've chosen a dozen more professional and/or kind ways to let me know the bathroom was now free. And I would've apologized had I even known someone was in it. I did not. Im glad my local subways are way better staffed with much kinder people. The woman ringing me up was nice. But I chose to tip less than I originally planned based on that awful interaction. We love to eat our ice cream outside but it's not the cleanest. And the whole environment outback by the tables isn't the best, but I can't fault them on that. They have no control over it. I love their food! It's so good. Almost everything is from the fryer, but that's my fav so win win. Ice cream is fabulous!! The staff is usually pretty nice. My favorite things though...the ranch dressing. They have Ken's, which is local and it's so good! I had to start buying it for our house. Threw out the Hidden Valley! And the XXX Root beer! She got the turtle sundae and I got two scoops - flavors mentioned on picture. Definitely has gotten better since I was in HS. The ice cream came out quickly and I was pleasantly surprised with how good everything was. I tried the turtle sundae and would 1000% get that next time. Their banana split also sounded pretty tempting. This is also a good place to go with younger kids as they have a small playground.
