Flask and Field has wine, an international selection of spirits, and nice ingredients to pair/accompany the alcoholic drinks. I've come here to purchase refreshing sparkling yuzu drinks on a hot day, I've bought affordable Japanese whiskeys curated from small-batch distilleries, and I've been in several times to look at the cute and useful things they have along the corners of their store. It's a hidden gem and it's worth checking out. Free parking available for two hours on weekends. Located conveniently next to "Go Get Em Tiger" and the restrooms. Definitely visit them after heading to Smorgasburg LA on Sundays. read more

Fantastic store with lots of wines, spirits, and little trinkets perfect for gifts! Almost all bottles have tags on them with descriptions, origins, and recommendations. My partner and I were able to get a bottle of a spirit hes been looking for to make a cocktail called "fire flower" ! We also found a bottle of gin that we love from Japan. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have alot of imported items as well as things from local artisans. Definitely check it out if you're at the Row DTLA! Been to The Row a couple times this year and love the area. I mostly go when my out of town friends are in town or to try new smorgasburg spots. Always a great time. I'd like to note this place is definity a hit or miss in terms of ambiance and staff helpfulness. Thier quality of items seem to par but I always find a reason or excuse to not purchase. Mostly due to rudeness or snobiness when I ask any questions. Felt elitist. Always a great spot to window shop though. read more

The CUTEST liquor/beer/wine and little tchotchke store with snacks, drink wear, little goodies, and some accompanying odds and ends. I love coming here to get little gifts for friends on their birthdays or for a housewarming. All of the employees have been super friendly, helpful and knowledge about their products every time I have been and they hold fun little tastings as well. I stopped by this store after attending Smorgasburg LA. I won't lie, I was enticed by the free wine tasting sign outside. However once I walked in, it was a very nice store with so many different types of wine that I've never heard of. It was a very inviting store with great customer service. They were not pushy and were very open to explaining the different types of wine. For a dedicated wine store, the price was on par with what you would expect. This is definitely a store that I will be returning to. I want to expand my wine knowledge and tastes. read more

Located right outside of where Smorgasboard is held. Close to where the restrooms are. It's a small store, but they have a good selection of Spirits. There was a Wolf representative there that was sampling some of their spirits. He did a great job at explaining the spirits and was very knowledgeable. Besides the rep, I like that the spirits in the store had little descriptions attached to them that gives you a good idea of how it's going to taste like. I've been here twice to shop and was assisted by the owner herself and their newest hire, Tristan. I had an amazing experience. The owner was so knowledgeable about her products and the overall wine and spirits in general. Within 2 mins I learned more about wine and spirits than I have in my lifetime. This is a sweet little store located at The Row DTLA with a highly curated selection of liquor, wine, and all the tools to create handcrafted cocktails. They have everything from Green Tea Gin to Whiskey and Bourbon from Paris. The wines are just as fun and they all have the cutest labels. Almost every bottle has a tag on it that explains where the drink comes from and how you can expect it to taste. Everything is so pleasant on the eye and it will be hard to leave without a purchase. We were lucky enough to visit the store when they had a tasting and we walked out with a new recipe and some delicious alcohol. The staff is very friendly and willing to provide recommendations. The vibe is laid back and the exotic drinks are fun to peruse. There is a parking structure with plenty of parking and EV charging with your first two hours free. Plenty of different whiskey and selections of alcohol for the alcoholics. Non alcoholics can find this place entertaining to check. My spot was definitely the fridge they have a pretty rare selection of beer mainly foreign Asian beers that I haven't seen. Quite pricey for sure, can will run you about $6-$7. Purchased a can of the high ball and also tried a makkoli rice wine unfiltered beer. I tend to like unfiltered beverages the makkoli was a bit in the sweeter side and lot of residue reside at the bottom of the can, probably best to shake a little or pour into a glass. High was decent, which was little disappointing since I'm a fan of most Hitachino beers. It reminded me of high ball you tend to drink at any Izakaya. Not a large selection of wine and spirits, but enough to be intriguing. Some may say well curated... I do think their selection leans towards contemporary on the wine side rather than traditional. If you are more about points and ratings rather than exploring new, smaller and perhaps outside bounds of traditional wineries, then you may feel a bit out of place here. Me? I have differing perspectives on wineries and types of wines. I didn't check out their refrigerated section, but also picked up a bottle of rum with a recommendation from their very knowledgeable staff. Their bar accessories section is small but has all the requirements. I've been craving crafting my own cocktails at home... You know winter means hibernation at home for me! Picked up a set of cocktail shakers and a copper strainer. I haven't tried the bottle of wine yet, but very happy with the rum. The shakers and the strainer haven't failed me yet, so no complaints here. Also, picked-up a pair of gorgeous martini glasses... There is a martini recipe I've been dying to make at home for weeks. I love the space at Flask & Field- it's a warm and modern shop that inspires you to try new drinks and shake up some new cocktails. I think in many stores at the ROW you end up browsing in silence, ultimately to not buy much because you overestimated how affordable it'd be. But here, it's so much fun to find spirits and wines that you've never heard of, to read the hilarious tasting notes written by the staff for each wine, and to just hear their recommendations of what they're drinking (and what they're eating along with it). I could spend 2 hours studying each bottle in there to attempt to come to a decision about what to buy, only to buy a crate of spirits. Had we lived closer, I think we would've opted to join their wine club in the first 10 minutes of our visit. Definitely going to be back next time we're in town! read more

Flask & Field is my happy place! They have the coolest collection of spirits that I've ever seen in LA. Only place that comes close is Highland Park / Silver Lake Wines, but I think F&F has them beat. I'm a wine club member, and the monthly wine box always comes with a fun gift. I've discovered some amazing canned cocktails or obscure spirits this way! Wines can be hit or miss, I've definitely gotten some here or there that seem kind of cheap, or don't taste great, but I'm an adventurous kind of gal. I do think with the white wines they lean too heavily into the orange wine category, personally. But I like that they keep me on my toes. If you're a wine club member you get 15% off an in Store purchase. I also use them frequently for gift boxes. They are curated and packaged sooo beautifully! read more

The first time I came to this establishment with a friend back in April, I had a wonderful experience. The man in the front was very helpful and helped us make some wonderful choices. This experience compelled me to return.  I have a challenging work schedule so I came as soon as I got off work, arriving 20 minutes prior to close. I had a lot of questions but thankfully the same helpful man from my first visit again helped me make some very thoughtful choices for a few gifts I was purchasing. He had excellent customer service and I felt assured that I was making the right purchase for my recipients.  However, this positive experience was soured when I felt the white woman in the background began to push me to hurry when we were about 5 minutes past the closing time. I was discouraged from spending more money on gift wrapping because I was feeling rushed despite spending quite a bit of money. Also, when I was asking clarification questions about the regular bags and why I was not receiving similar packaging as my last visit, I felt the white woman was quite curt with me. I felt that my business, no matter how much I was willing to spend, was not valued due to not being a member. I will never give this place my business again. I wish I read the other 1-2 star reviews for this establishment sharing similar sentiments about the owner's treatment of other clientele of color. read more

We were gifted a pack of four wines and went to pick them up this weekend. The shop was cute and the staff member we talked to seemed really nice. When we got home, we were excited to check out the contents of the box. We looked up all four wines on our favorite wine app and saw that none of them were very highly rated, so we just kind of shrugged and chose the one that looked best to us and decided to open it. It's a Spanish red and sadly, it is no bueno. We were really surprised that a curated box of wines from such an upscale store would contain such a disappointing selection. read more

A very interesting collection of spirits that I was very curious about. However each time I've went I've been disappointed with the lack of help in the store. I've visited twice and each time I really wanted to chat with someone about their selection of Japanese gins and different and whiskeys since they've had some interesting bottles I've never seen before. Each time the employees gathered at the register and didn't assist myself or anyone on the floor nor were greeted upon entrance. Specialty liquors can be a daunting thing to people, and the lack of service or acknowledgment left myself and the people I've visited he shop with a sense of belittlement. read more

I was looking for some sake as a gift, so I decided to come here to look for something a little nicer. They have a wide variety of beers and spirits, many of which I had never seen before. The staff was super helpful and they recommended a sake within my budget ($30-$50). They even helped me with wrapping it up nicely and giving me a card to go with it! I've ordered from them using the courier service 2 times now and a total of 11 wines. All of which have been excellent that I have opened so far. The courier service was great, super friendly, professional (safe during covid pandemic) and so fast! They have helped make me look like I actually have any clue what I'm doing picking out wine.....because I really don't. And for all I received, the wine is top notch for the price. Disrespectful and rude staff. I went in to buy a high end tequila and was harassed as if I didn't have to money to buy anything. I was followed throughout store, was told the bottle I was purchasing needed to be held at the front, and was made to feel stupid in asking the difference between high end mezcal and high end tequila. I am really just at a loss for words with how I was treated and I can only imagine how others have been treated by this shop. read more

I just joined their wine club. I would say I'm a beginning-leaner-wine-lover and I have enjoyed the bottles. I did share two bottles with wine enthusiasts and they also liked the wines. It's nice to have a curated assortment (especially during quarantine). Pick up is a breeze and they reply to emails within 15 minutes which is nice. Since I couldn't find a number. We happened to have another stop on our vacation near by and this place had the coconut cartel rum I have been wanting to try, not a single store in AZ carries it and only a handful in CA, I was excited to be able to get a bottle. Cute shop in row DTLA with a mix of wine and spirits and beverage home goods. As soon as I stepped in I knew I was in trouble because I wanted everything. There were books, bags, and plenty of drinks. There is even a fridge with some cold wines and waters. There were two types of canned sauvignon blanc, which I thought was cool. Everything was super cute and unique. The women in charge was so lovely and helpful. She answered my questions about the canned wines. Parking can be found in the parking structure.
