This is a wonderful family friendly activity in beautiful Lakeside MT. It is fast enough to be a rush, but speed is used controlled, so is fun for the thrill junkie, to the little guys and those that just want to enjoy a beautiful Mountain View. The line was reasonable, price is pretty good, especially if you can take advantage of packages or off peak times and there is even a gemstone station for mining if that's your thing. Staff was top notch, and we can't wait to come back with visit friends and family. It's def a must stop if you're in or passing through the Flathead.

Great ride! Smooth track. Friendly staff. Newer and polished! Would recommend. Can sit solo or with a small child. Go at your own pace. Buy tix online and save time. Open year round.

This is the newest downhill roller coaster type attraction in the Flathead Lake area. Definitely good for a bit of a thrill to liven up the day! It is brand new so everything is in great shape. The ride is super smooth, quiet, and the controls were easy to operate. The ride itself was longer and faster than I than expected. Staff was friendly and approachable in answering questions and giving instructions. It can be a bit pricey but it's worth at least one go!

Amazing experience! Staff was super friendly. All our riders had a blast whether they were choosing fast or slow speeds. Definitely recommend the 3 pack; you'll want to do it more than once! My son got the Emerald Stash sluice bag and got huge crystals and opal, he was over the moon! Say hi to Carl! He's absolutely the gem of the place!

Took our family of 6, ages 11 to 53, and we all had a terrific time. Sydney and Sarah were wonderful, as was Mike, who retrieved my cap for me. Everyone seemed happy to be working there, very personable and interested in the guests having fun. We also did the mining, and a good time was had by all. I would definitely recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed the Alpine Coaster. I took my family there, including three grandchildren and it was such a fun and amazing experience. We loved the videos and pictures that we purchased, which were reasonably priced. A great visual reminder of the fun we had. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend them.

The staff was all super friendly and they did a great job of explaining everything and making sure we felt safe and comfortable using the equipment. The ropes course is a lot of fun and the higher up course is definitely a challenge! Our eleven year old was able to do the higher up course, but our seven year old opted to skip that and do the bounce house which was fun for him. Both kids had a blast in the splash pond, and the food at the neighboring cafe was delicious and fresh! I would highly recommend a visit to this place if you're in the area and want to do something other than hiking or site seeing. A great value, really nice folks, and tons of family fun!

Conveniently right off the road to Glacier National Park, about 30 min from Whitefish. Surprisingly clean bathrooms, really enjoy the cranberry ice foam soap. Nice little deck with coupla heat lamps for folks who just want to hangout. They also have a full service snack shack serving fries, onion rings, fried mushrooms. Pro tip: the pork nachos slap. Got the aerial, climbing wall, lake slide, and inflatable package. Basically a kids dream (and mine!). Aerials came with full harness and helmet. Recommend bringing some gloves if it's cold out. Course allows traversal in any direction so if there's no line you can zip line back and forth to your hearts content. There are 4 short zip lines and 1 extra long one. This is way better than a zip line only adventure. Obstacles are all doable for a 9 and 11 yo. Would have enjoyed this with the whitewater rafting package too. Super fun place.

The staff was very nice to explain everything to me. They showed me the lake map and where to go and not go, etc. Instructions were very clear. I rented 2 hours (they have you 15 mins for the round trip walk). The walk from the rental to the lake I thought was a bit of a walk but it was not bad to haul the kayak there, they are on wheels so it is not bad. You leave the wheels near the trees. Returning the kayak was fairly easy as well. There are lockers available that you can put your stuff if you don't want to take it with you. The minimum number of hours is 2 hours and it was 40 something. Overall it was a good experience! Everything was great. Would recommend and use service again.

We had people waiting for our parking spot when we returned to the car. I'm not sure where people would park when it gets very busy. Perhaps there is another parking lot I didn't see. When you walk up to G.O. you sign waivers, pay the fee and are gathered in an area for instructions. The man who provided the instructions was very informative. Advised us of areas in Flathead Lake to avoid including a rough water area and a few bald eagle's nests as they recently laid eggs. After instructions, you are provided with the kayak, paddle, life jacket and a cart to roll the kayak down to the lake. Now, I'm pretty strong but the kayaks are heavy. I did think to myself, how would someone with less strength get this kayak down to the lake? Something to ask about if you are renting as it is several yards to walk with a heavy kayak. The carts were easy to remove and stash while we spent the day in the lake. When you finish kayaking, you simply load the kayak back on the cart and roll it back to G.O., drop off gear and you are done. We had a great experience with Glacier Outfitters and would use them again.

The main building was empty except for a couple of employees selling tickets. I thought it could definitely use a refresh but we were not there for the lodge. We rode up 2 lifts to reach the top of Whitefish Mountain. There are two peaks you can take lifts up and we went to the higher peak for one if the longer hikes. Both lifts were easy to get on, getting off was a little sketchy as we had to quickly jump off and move several steps forward to avoid being hit by the lift. Thank goodness for the lift operator assisting people off the lift! I'm sure it's much easier to exit when skiing. The ride up was great. Such beautiful views! There is a small bar/restaurant at the top with amazing patio views and a restroom. We hiked down the Danny On Trail From the top. There are plenty of trail Markers so you cannot get lost. We did see a sign warning us of bear activity while hiking but we never actually saw any animal activity, not even a deer. A majority of the trail had beautiful views of Whitefish Lake. The lower part of the hiking trail was covered with dozens of people picking huckleberries so you just had to navigate around those groups. The hike took approximately 3 hours to reach the Alpine Slide area. You could ride the slide down or jump on the ski lift to go down. Whichever you purchased tickets to do. There are is also a separate trail for mountain bikers but we didn't cross those trails until closer to the Alpine slide area. We purchased tickets for the Alpine Slide so we jumped in line which went quickly. There are two slides to choose from. One slide is "fast" and the other is slower and more scenic. We chose the scenic as it was our first time on the slide. You can also choose the speed as you navigate down the slide. The slide drops you right off at the bottom of the resort so you can walk directly to the parking lot. I would definitely recommend the hiking and Alpine slide. It was very scenic and a wonderful experience.

I could spend a year here and still be excited to go and see more or hike another trail. It is a beautiful and pristine park to respectfully enjoy. I used the general store at Rising Sun mid morning to grab a few gift and snack items as well as refill water (bottle filler inside or purchase drinks of choice). Has just about anything you need there for purchase along with bathroom and showers. I can't speak for the park service visitor centers at Apgar nor Logan Pass as I didn't use as they were not open when I entered (save restroom at Logan). Logan Pass has free parking for 3 hours if you can get a spot. You do have to use the kiosk to out in plate data which provides time stamp and place on dash.
