I really like Flatirons! It is not too confusing to go to driving wise and there are a large variety of shops. Not only that there are little trains you can get on to shop across the street at Best Buy. The trouble with these trains are you don't know when the next one may be coming. One time we parked across the road from Flatirons and went in on the train. When we were done shopping we waited and waited and no train so we had to walk back. No biggy but still sucky. Sadly with the recession a lot of stores left Flatirons more in their porch or outside area. Inside it is a bit more stabilized. read more

Run-of-the-mill mall. It has an "outdoors" feel based on the decor, but has your standard American shopping mall store. Parking can be a hassle, the food court has restaurants, and there are department stores. Looks like a mall to me. read more

Me and my sisters went to FT casuals to find a dress. I had tried on a few dresses of the size I typically wear and none of them seem to fit as the sizes run very very small. I had asked one of my sisters to grab a bigger size a couple times and they still didnt fit comfortably and the lady working over heard our conversation As I was walking out of the dressing room she asked if I needed any help getting anything on and if I would be purchasing any of the items I tried on and I kindly responded that I didnt love the way they fit when she responded to me "oh was it that or were the dresses just too small for you?" in a very belittling and rude tone in front of several other customers. I was so very embarrassed and appalled at the behavior of the woman running the store. She is completely unprofessional and rude and fat shames customers. I would HIGHLY discourage anyone to shop here as the employees act very disgustingly. read more

I give Flatiron mall four stars because they have most of the stores I want in a mall. The atmosphere feels very much like you are in a lodge in the mountains. They keep it clean and work hard to maintain a great selection of food and shopping. They don't have a lot of high end stores but at least they have Nordstrom. I find myself here all the time, much to my husbands dismay, haha! Its a great mall to enjoy meeting your friend for lunch and shopping or bringing your family. There is a vast amount of shopping right around the mall as well. The Village, that's connected to the mall, has had a face lift. I feel like they have done an excellent job by keeping some of our favorite restaurants and of course the movie theater. There is plenty of parking now with the remodel. Flatiron mall is worth checking out! read more

This is a pretty good size shopping area/mall. You can find most stores here. It is comparable to South Coast Plaza in Southern California. It is very clean and easy to get in and out. i definitely would come back for my shopping needs. i gave it four stars because of lack of inside entertainment. There are a few outdoors, like a ice skating ring and playground for kids. read more

I was mortified with my shopping experience with Dillard's. This is the second year in a row that I have brought my foster children for after Christmas shopping and had security racially profile these kids, I saw it with my own eyes. This years I asked security if they had an issue with the boys and they said that they were just making sure everything was okay. I had the boys put down their items I explained that we would spend our money elsewhere. As a person (yes as white person), I am disappointed in the actions of this store. I witnessed 3 instances today where people of color were followed and confronted by security in less than an hour. I will never shop at Dillard's again. Ever. read more

An interesting mall on the northernmost side of the Metro area (unless you include Boulder, which seems a bit silly), Flatiron Crossing features a food court, as well as the ubiquitous mall offerings and anchor stores you'll find at most any shopping center. There's also quite a few restaurants in detached buildings along the nearby walk, which is nice, because it adds variety without cramming sit-down restaurants into narrow shops with lots of mall noise to contend with. They also have a theater, which I've been to once or twice and frankly, I don't really remember much about it. Which means it's not a *great* theater, but it's also not a *bad* theater. Were it either extreme, I'd likely remember why I really liked or disliked it. There aren't as many food stands scattered throughout the place as there are at Colorado Mills, so you'll probably be less-tempted to pick up a Cinnabon or pretzel or bag of roasted nuts or popcorn or cookie or Orange Julius whilst making your way between stores, which is in a way nice, but makes the large amount of cookie-cutter apparel stores blend together because there's no delicious smells to break them up. Overall, it's a decent mall that has a good collection of stores, including Hot Topic, Spencer Gifts (which is like Hot Topic's edgier cousin that doesn't get invited to family gatherings), a Disney store and a Build-A-Bear Workshop, plus BoxLunch, which features a lot of the same geeky merch that makes Hot Topic successful. The real downfall, however, is the parking situation. It's awful. I'm not sure what genius decided that aligning the parking rows diagonally in various parts of the lot was a good idea, but whether it actually effectively increases the available number of spots or not, it makes it so no matter which way you're driving along the access roads, you'll probably have to make a sharp turn or a sudden stop to avoid being struck by someone coming around a blind corner. Plus, there's no direct path toward the relative safety of a sidewalk once you get out of your car, because the diagonal lane directs you to the far opposite corner of the lot. There's also only one miniscule crosswalk at the very corner itself, so you'll have to walk *around* the end of the tightly-packed line of vehicles just to get to it. Walking THROUGH to get to the designated place to CROSS the street is just inconceivably dumb. Overall, it's not bad, but the only reason I actually came here at all was because the Colorado Mills Mall is closed for repairs, Even when I lived in Estes Park, and this was *closer*, I still went to the Mills. It's just a better, newer, more modern, less-poorly-laid-out experience. read more

This is a really beautiful building. I think it is one of the many reasons that the Westminster Mall is nearly dead. I do find that the mall is a little hard to navigate--it's not completely intuitive which way to go or where you have been (unless you know the mall well). The food court is decent--how can you go wrong with a "Hot Dog on a Stick"? Other than that, pretty typical of any upscale mall. read more

By far my favorite Shopping Mall in the Denver area! It's not stuffy like Cherry Creek. It's not wimpy like Colorado Mills. It's just real! Sure there are the shops like Coach and BeBe that are way more expensive than necessary, but they keep it real with Dick's and Old Navy. There's a great selection of stores, it's huge so it doesn't seem too crowded, and the food court has some to-die-for offerings. Here's my secret advice: when you go, park outside of Macy's. There are ALWAYS free parking spots close-by, so on days when you're trying to minimize your exposure to the elements, this is where you'll want to park! Dick's and Eddie Bauer are always the worst places to find spots, but also the most convenient to just about any store. Coincidence? Probably not. Happy Shopping! read more

Flatirons is the mall I go to the most because it has all of the stores I typically go to. My only complaint is the kiosks that run all the way down the ground floor of the mall. The people who work these kiosks are obnoxious. They will run at you and put a heating pad around your neck, insist on squirting lotion on you, ask you if your fingernails are real, offer to straighten your hair, and ask you what kind of cell phone you have. Flatirons would be a much better place if they weren't so in-your-face about selling you their useless junk. read more

It is the beginning of the end. I've said it before, I'll say it again. FT Casuals is a curse to malls. Let it absorb into your brain, think about it. As soon as that store gets a spot inside a mall, it begins to downgrade that particular mall faster than Bernie Madoff's credit rating. This mall used to have a lot of good stores and a lot of pretentious rich folk. Earlier this month when I was there, it was like 50% Indian families walking around I shit you not. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone...if it was filmed in New Delhi. What was once a vibrant, trendy place has turned into "The mall that White people use to go to." Abalone and Fish-gone, Ultimate Electronics went bankrupt literally a month after moving in, Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works have bowed out also. Without VS and B&BW, there are far less hotties that shop at Flatirons, which causes the male population to decline, then eventually it'll become another Westy mall where the only shops left are like Foot Locker and...FT motherf'ing Casuals. Queue sad music here. The saddest thing is that my favorite mall food court place Sarku Japan will be no mo. Where else am I gonna get cheap greasy chicken with rice and sauce for 6 bucks?!?!!?!?!?! A typical mall but spacious and clean. It has a nice variety of stores from national to local. The stores/restaurants change a bit but the once empty spaces are finally starting to be leased out. Large flagship stores (Macy's, Dick Sporting Goods, Container Store) and a few staple stores like Crate And Barrel, Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma. There are a TON of shoe stores. The food is OK but no one restaurant is spectacular. There is a pretty cool AMC theater on site too. For kids: There are plenty of fun things for kids with play areas, these animal carts that you can ride around the mall, bouncy castle and train. As a side note, I feel more adults should ride the animals carts... When they do, it's hilarious! The only bad thing are the vendors in the kiosks. They just don't let up and resort to stalking and abrasive methods. Don't give them eye contact... And walk quickly. The sales taxes are a bit high (approximately 8% compared to Park Meadows 4% and Cherry Creek 7%) but the mall doesn't have their pretentious feeling either. read more

Being from San Francisco, where they have nearly EVERY STORE you can ask for in downtown, I felt like I was stuck with nowhere to go in Colorado. This is probably the best shopping area I found in Colorado. I haven't been to many, but this place is pretty good. They had a good selection of stores to shop from. read more

This Apple Store is great--made an appointment, showed up on time and had to wait maybe five minutes for a tech. I had what was previously diagnosed by the Apple phone tech as malware--but the tech in the store quickly found out the new OS (Catalina) was competing with the antivirus software I had. Then, he gave me the name of a reputable malware blocker that checks your computer for free (malwarebytes dot com), and suggested I check it once or twice a month. Ten minutes and my computer was up and running again, and the whole thing was free. PS--for all those naysayers who gave this store less than 4 stars and complained about wait times: make an appointment! read more

Very large, clean, and nice looking mall. We kind of zipped through, but I liked what I saw and would come back. Some of the stores were larger than normal (XXI) and some smaller (H&M), so it can be a little hit-or-miss if you're coming for a particular shop or item. read more

This is mainly a review for the Village at Flatiron's. The Village is their outside area where you can walk around in the weather and see all the stores outside. I wanted to get these really cute jeans there and I was helped by this lady and she was really nice. But the cash register staff was not at all nice. I had a gift card and I was paying for my jeans and I was a little short on money and they said I needed 10 more cents. I totally forgot my change which was partly my fault. But the person who was at the cash register wouldn't even offer to just pay the 10 cents left. They even saw how upset I was and they just didn't care. read more

When flatirons first opened it was a flagship store of northwest Denver. Over the years they have had their problems. Over half of the outdoor village was torn down because of shifting soil causing the buildings to crack. The last time I was at the mall several retailers failed to renew their leases, favorites such as cinnabon, wetzel pretzel, mc donalds, and Abercrombie and fitch. read more

This mall was so awesome when it first opened. Sadly, it is a chore to come here now. The parking is always a nightmare and the aggressive tactics of the kiosk salespeople make walking down the aisle uncomfortable. The food options are crap. I like this local mall. It is clean and modern, with plenty of shops, a decent food court, and a theater just down the way. They have a good selection of stores, with Macy's, Crate & Barrel, Nordstroms, Dick's, Old Navy, and Forever 21 rounding out the larger shops. Mid-size shops include Williams Sonoma, Brookstone, Gap, Tilly's, Hot Topic and many more. It's usually not horribly busy, which makes it far nicer than some of the options in Denver. Lots of parking is available, and nearby there are good food/beer options (Village Tavern, PF Changs, Azitra) and a Walmart. During the summer, they have nice outdoor features for the younger kids, as well as bands at the Gordon Biersch. read more

Banana Republic with a petite section, Baja Fresh, Victoria's Secret, Nordstrom, BC, SBUX and CPK make me very happy. I buy shoes at Dillard's. They have amazing prices on them. Avoid the mall when Apple releases a new phone. Annoying sheep clog the walkway! I like going outside the mall to Gordon Biersch, PF Chang's, The Village Tavern and the AMC. I love this mall! It's pretty big and has nice stores. I am a huge fan of Kays, Maurices, Express, Coach, Macy's, Victoria's Secret. The mall itself is nice great selection of retail stores from Nordstrom to Box Lunch! However the staff at majority of the retailers need a good lesson in customer service!! Hiring what appears to be teenagers don't take me wrong there is nothing wrong with that but they have no work ethic and it seems to be a growing trend. I asked for a price check on an item at bc surf and no one was interested in helping despite the price on the item was inconsistent with the other prices in the same area and items of the same style. I mean really it takes like two seconds to price check an item. As I walked away one of the girls just started laughing at the situation needless to say they lost my business. Not that they care or anything but the company over all may. The laziness of the work industry bewilders me. Other retailers had no interest in even acknowledging that we were in the store and several others were more interested in their cell phones. read more
