The service was super friendly and I appreciated how attentive and quick the servers were for such a packed and busy restaurant. I ordered the wedge salad, which was tasty, but I feel like the lettuce could have been fresher as there were a couple of wilted parts. I enjoyed the addition of the crispy onions, and it had the perfect amount of dressing. My friend ordered the burger and said it was flavorful and the Gouda paired well with it. I stole some of their fried and we both agreed they were a solid fry. All in all a nice spot to stop for lunch, or to watch a sports game with some good food and drinks. read more

Under new ownership with the same local neighborhood vibes, a good to excellent selection of beers on tap and rotation along with ciders and a short list of wines by the glass. Stopped in for World Cub between lunch and dinner so only ordered chips, salsa and guacamole with our drafts but next time will order Gilberto's wrap after sharing a table with someone who said it's her go to. We really enjoyed this place. We found it while visiting and wanted to watch games. It's a small bar in size but the excitement was electrifying in there. The main entrance room has a bar with seating, some side high top tables, some lower tables, and a high communal table. The next room has lower tables, 5 higher tables seating 4 people each, a larger table that had chairs and a booth side, lower large table. Lots of TVs around the entire place. The food is pretty good. We enjoyed a couple appetizers (bulgogi fries and chili lime cauliflower) and then their wings. Friends ordered nachos, but didn't finish them...the cheese was a cheese sauce so the chips were soggy. Our server was fantastic. She was very friendly, helpful, and very attentive despite having so many tables and it being packed. I'd go back here again, but I'd go earlier just to ensure a table. read more

This is probably one of my most favorite places to eat in our area.. Today we went shopping, it was a good time. We decided to come here to eat, why?? I really enjoy this place. Its fancier then a dive but not too nice to not get the bar feel. its always a fun place and the workers are so nice and fun. I use to work at the kaiser down the block and a co-worker and I would walk down and get apps and margaritas and enjoy the day. now I go with some friends and we have fun, they play the games and then really good music. we came once and there was a nat problem and that was a bit annoying and unfortunate but then we came for my birthday dinner and drinks and the waiter informed me that the kitchen was going to close in 30 min. So WE BOTH made a decision on food. as the food was coming out, the people started to show up. perfect amount of food. After being there for sometime drinks turn in to shots and cake. Kid friendly but definitely a sports bar, complete with various artifacts of sporting events gone by. My default is the Asian chicken salad. I crave it after long runs: I'm a good eater and this one (with added chicken) delivers on taste and portion. There was a table of six adults and several children seated near us who spent our entire meal screaming and running past our table, hiding under the table next to us, and being loud and rambunctious like it was a playground. Ugh I love this place. Again, I come here whenever I'm in town I hope I can become a regular in their eyes! They have amazing food their potatoe skins or whatever they're loaded potatoes and they're the best food ever I crave them always and I wish they had a flatiron here in Sacramento it's delicious and it's always a good vibe whenever you go in, there's always other people having food and drinks and having a good time. Although not really a dive bar you see a lot of locals coming here to watch the game and enjoy a quick bite a drink. We had lumpia (which I was shocked to see on the menu), and it was decently good. Recently ate here and didn't at all have a positive food experience. I ordered an appetizer of loaded potato skins, which arrived after my entree, and were made up almost entirely of cheese. I guess technically they were "potato skins" as there was almost zero potato content. My entree was three shriveled, over cooked hotdog "sliders" topped with a mixture of tabasco and ketchup, on dried up mini hotdog buns. I could eat only one each of the potato skins and hotdogs. What was also very bad was the onion rings I ordered that had no flavor at all. My dinner companion ordered a hamburger that arrived at the table and wasn't what he ordered. Cold, unsalted waffle fries. and the sliders somehow went from some of my favorite around to very mediocre. New chef? New recipe? Dunno. I've been back here a few times since that first visit and my impression has definitely improved! I don't know if they have new cook and bartenders or what but they've significantly upped their game. I've now had the burger, broccolini, cheesesteak, onion rings and, and at least four of their cocktails and all was above average, if not outright delicious. The sweet peppers on the burger and cheesesteak and the spicy aoli are going to get me back there within a month or so. Came here to grab a very late brunch at 5 pm. Very hungry. That was probably for the best, the food was not all that good. Fried calamari smelled great when they brought it but the corn breading left something to be desired. They can make you a craft cocktail that you'll love, all the classics, craft beers from all the local breweries, a Coors Lite or Fireball shots. The only thing I would hesitate to order would be wine? Food is great for a sports bar. I've been in for nachos a few times to watch football/basketball.
