When they became available, my wife researched the terms for the visit and feeling comfortable with their requirements due to Covid-19, purchased the tickets. It cost her almost $100. The day before the event, she got an email stating that a negative result from a rapid test is necessary to attend or proof of all vaccinations. There was no mention of this on their FB page, only that masks are required. I told her to just get a refund, but she discovered the tickets are nonrefundable. How convenient for TFAC. We love our little town of Tryon, but TFAC sux!

It might actually be my favorite theatre in Asheville. Yes it is small (extremely so), but I appreciate the intimacy that accompanies a small audience. This type of setting makes you feel as though you truly are part of the play/event that you are attending. All of the shows I've seen there have been phenomenal...from the traveling Cat Circus to last night's performance of The Submission. The actors/performers are consistently top notch. The staff members that work the ticket booth/reception area are wonderfully friendly and always excited about the production on hand. If you have not had the opportunity to catch a show at this particular venue then I highly recommend that you check it out!

The stage is the perfect size for the venue and there is a good view regardless of where you sit. The lobby has snacks and drinks for great prices. The show was two hours with an intermission and I brought a soft drink back for the second half. The show was wonderfully acted and well-presented by all technical and back stage staff. The staff and ushers at the theater were very friendly and helpful too. They told me---more than once---that they were grateful for my support of the arts. Having been to Brevard numerous time, I was surprised that I was complete unaware of the venue hosting the event, the Brevard Music Center. The event itself was awesome and featured some brilliant bluegrass artists from classics like Hot Rize and Steep Canyon Rangers to up and coming artists like Molly Tuttle. The covered, open theater, is a gem. Great acoustics, beautiful facility, and great for a show on a cool evening. The property was beautifully landscaped and had little cabins and ponds throughout. I can't wait to see another show there and learn more about the BMC!
