Door dashed these folks because EVERYONE has been ranting and raving about em on the EAST SIDE so I decided to give em a go. My reasoning for Door Dash was because if it sucked I would've regretted driving over there. Their yelp pictures of their burgers look odd where the bun far outweighs the ratio of meat so I passed. Anywho, as for their wings, they were LIGHTLY seasoned with whatever type of Ethiopian rub they advertise but it wasn't too robust and hard to fully taste the flavor. Their wings are 1/3 the size of ROOSTER wings. These things are EXTRA TINY and the meat was dry maybe even overcooked because they're so small. You bite into em and it's a very tough pull with your teeth to separate meat from bone. These wings are NOT tender or firm at all but instead TOUGH. I ordered some "AXUM BBQ" sauce for their dry wings. This sauce had kinda a liquid smoke flavor to it. The problem was that they charged me $1.25 per SMALL CUP for the sauce after the fact after I rang out my door dash order. I ORDERED TWO not knowing I was getting charged for em yet when I check my order they ONLY GAVE ME ONE. If you're gonna be vampires and suck the monetary blood out of your customers atleast get the ORDER RIGHT . The only saving grace for this "meal" were the fresh cut fries but not enough to go back here or recommend it to anyone. ‍

Some really good food and friendly and personable service! Complements to the Chef and kitchen! If you have not tried this place you are absolutely missing out! I was introduced to Flavor 91 Bistro thanks to Yelp and it is one of my favorites places of 2024 so far! Love supporting local small businesses and this is my Second visit here. This trip I brought my partner so he could try it. I had tried to swing in for lunch one day but it was one of the late 4pm open days. This trip, I do have a complaint when I swapped out the cheese type on the chicken sandwich based on server suggestion. Both chicken sandwiches were the same price but charges $1 for the goat cheese to be put on the breaded chicken instead of the pepper jack. It was worth the up charge but was not informed of the additional charge and why would you charge if it was the same price point? Seems. Bit ridiculous. It was a nice crowd and the inside was clean. For food, I do recommend The Crispy Chicken Sandwich with goat cheese. My partner got The Lamb Good Burger and we stared with House-Made Spinach Dip. All dishes were full of flavor and so yummy! I will absolutely be back but will watch the bill in the future.

Very good service and food we've been here a several times . The menu has a variety of options . The owners are always friendly and kind.

I really like Ethiopian food. So when I had the chance to try out this place, I was really excited. The staffs were really friendly as soon as we walked in. The place was nice and clean with a good amount of tables for seating. We ended up getting the Spinach dip, Wings, Ethiopian Dry Rub with fries, the lentil Sambusas and the Flavor Burger. I did not like flavor of the dip but the chips that came with it were great. It seemed that it was freshly made, seasoned well with a nice crunch to it.. The Sambusas were my favorite. It tasted great. The wings were good too but part of the wings were a little burnt. The burger on the other hand lacked flavor, needed a little more seasoning. It lacked salt. Even though the staffs were friendly the service however was inconsistent. Soon as we got our food we decided we wanted to order a cocktail. We asked to see the menu. Our server never came back to check up on us on whether we wanted to order any drinks or not. Once we were done with our food, the server came to take our plates, and then asked if we still wanted to order a drink. By that time, we were done and ready to leave. With so many Ethiopian restaurants, I don't really see myself coming back here again.

Wings + fries, chili, hot toddy

Somehow, no matter what kind of food I searched for "near me" Flavor91 kept popping up in my Yelp feed. Since their average rating is so high, I had to give them a try. It was a win. There were no other customers there when we arrived, which wasn't unusual since it was just before 5pm. Our server addressed us right away, and then more diners started to trickle in along with the folks picking up their take-out orders. Regulars, which is always a good sign. Because it was our first visit, as per other Yelpers here our server offered a few tiny samples: spinach dip with flour tortilla chips, the sweet spiced tea, chili, lentil soup, and chicken cream of mushroom soup. All delicious. My friend and I ordered the Jalapeño poppers to start, and the dry-rub wings and Flava burger to share. Since both entrees came with fries, they let us sub one order with a side of chili. To drink we both ordered the spiced tea but ya know we had to make it happy. For me, after bourbon for a hot toddy; and for my friend, a bit of apple crown. Everything was really good, largely due to the Ethiopian spice mix. I prefer my burger medium but the server let me know that, although they'd try, it might come out closer to well done. It did but it was fine. But the big hits were the chili and especially the wings. I'm also keen to go back to try the lamb burger.

We had a great experience here. We made reservations because we weren't sure what it would be like. For us they weren't necessary but i'm sure it depends on time of day / weekday. Our server was super nice. For new customers they offer free samples of their top selling items. 10/10 strategy. It got me to buy their chili and tea, ha. Flavors were unique and food was fresh. Only thing that was a deterrent for us was price. I'm sure its reasonable based on how they acquire their ingredients but just a tad high for our price range. Would recommend to anyone!

The food was incredible, easily one of the best seasoned burgers I've had in the neighborhood. The restaurant was so clean and the server was all around the chillest dude I've met. I loved being treated like a guest there and how nice it was that they let us taste test their favorite dishes.

Juiciest burger I've ever had, and one of the sweetest, friendliest service staff you'll find. The lighting provides a perfect lowkey casual vibe. Definitely going to visit again when I'm in the area.

Stopped in for lunch and would definitely recommend. The staff was very friendly. Since it was our first time they brought us a few samples of different things which was a nice way for us to taste some different flavors. We had the wings and the Flavor burger . Both were delicious. Try the mamas cinnamon ginger tea, it's very refreshing.

Urban Gourmet - Chicken Wings

I had the hankering for wings. As always, open up Yelp and look for suggestions. Urban Gourmet…read morepops up only 1.5 miles away. Located in the East Market, there are lots of food choices. Wanting wings, I ordered the Garlic Parmesan and tots. They offer grilled or fried and I thought I ordered fried but these tasted more like grilled. I was wanting that fried crunch but got more of a well cooked bite with a creamy garlic white sauce, then sprinkled with Parmesan. It was still good but when you're expecting crunch, it's slightly disappointing. Still a good wing but I wouldn't put it in the top 5. The tots, now they made up for the crunch. The Blue Cheese was exactly what I like, sweeter with a little funk. Maybe I should've specified fried. Wings are an indulgence to me. I don't want the healthy version. I want that crunchy-Lipitor sponsored-defibrillator on stand by-I can see my blood flowing-We'll start the diet Monday goodness that only a perfectly fried wing can offer. Still good tho.

No exaggeration, this was one of the best chicken Parmesans I've ever had, and that includes versions from legit Italian restaurants. The chicken cutlet was super crispy and perfectly seasoned, with a coating that was flavorful and satisfying without being too heavy. The portion size was just right, not too big, not too small. I appreciated that the mozzarella on top was fresh and sliced, not the usual shredded kind. The sauces (yes, plural!) were rich and full of flavor, tying everything together beautifully. The only thing I think it was missing? Some garlic bread of some sort to go with it. That would've made it perfect. But honestly, it was still a fantastic dish on its own. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're anywhere near East Market. I'm already looking forward to going back and seeing what else is good on their menu.

The tomatoes on the burger were diced, not sliced. I've never had them that way, but it worked. The french fries were really just about perfect. The place wasn't crowded--just two staff members were present--but it did take a little while to be acknowledged. There was someone ahead of me who I thought was in line, but he was actually waiting on a DoorDash order. It seemed like the staff were preoccupied with that, which delayed them noticing new customers walking in. According to my husband, the menu changes frequently. I browsed a bit and decided to go with a classic chicken cheesesteak--just mayo and banana peppers. I got it as a combo with a drink and onion rings. They only offered soda or water for drinks, and I do wish there was an alternative like juice or tea. I'll admit, I wasn't expecting much since we're not in Philly--but let me tell you, that first bite changed everything! The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the cheese was just right, and the bread was the perfect texture--not too soft, not too hard. It was seriously delicious. The onion rings weren't your typical rings with raw onions inside--instead, they seemed more like a crispy, flavored version with a mild onion taste, which I actually preferred since I'm not a big fan of onions. We also ordered a cheeseburger meal for my kids (not listed on the menu but available), and my husband got the loaded Philly steak fries, which he really enjoyed. All in all, the food exceeded my expectations. I'd definitely come back, especially for that chicken cheesesteak!

Well, it's big, but there are so many things on it that the one on the wall has tiny print and is hard to read. If you're older like me, you might want to pick up a paper menu. Which they have plenty of. Menu covers all the basics for breakfast and a lot of omelette options. I didn't look closely at the lunch side but there are some interesting choices there that I would've gotten if it weren't 8 AM. Service minimal but nice, friendly ordering and then they bring the food out to your table. I got biscuits and gravy, of course. Because I love them, and because I make really good ones at home. The sausage gravy is from a can probably, but decent. The biscuits were also industrial commercial types, but sturdy enough for gravy. You can get them with eggs which I did. We have our own chickens, so I am also judgy about eggs, the ovae themselves and the preparation style. I asked for over medium, and what I usually get is this, over easy. A little runnier than I like, but not bad. And they have hot sauce on the table, which I always appreciate. Price was very reasonable, speed was excellent. The place is nice enough and comfy. Handy on the corner with plenty of parking. Solid choice for a diner, nothing particularly special.

It was my turn, dining alone but nothing about a table for one at Scotty's is lonely. The staff are immediately welcoming and every customer is every employee's charge. Four different people helped me or just checked in. The Gina breakfast combos have lots to offer for breakfast. But I was thrilled this 9:30 am to be assured the whole menu was available. I was looking for something less common and was excited to see potato latkes with sour cream and apple sauce as an option. That would have been great but then the waitress (Salome maybe) said, "Do you like corned beef?" The Schmoozer is 3 enormous latkes with thinly shaved and lightly grilled corn beef on top with an over easy egg atop that.
