We were told not to look to their OWN website or Safari or Siri for times. This little shop in Chateau Estates has a snowball like you'd get at the famous Hansen's in the city. Smooth and the selection of flavors is ridiculously high. Flavors you'd never think of, but they did. They have soft serve cream, but I haven't had it but they have some. They even have some savory items. I love their homemade tamales. Full of meat and not all breading. During Mardi Gras season they have multiple of the most popular kink cake of major bakeries we all know like Dong Phong, Randazzo's, Claudia's to name a few. And no lines! The little shopping center just went through a pretty renovation if you sit outside on Flavors deck. Inside is very, very clean. Seems like they are always wiping up. I absolutely love this spot! During the summer if you're craving a snowball, or some snacks this is the perfect hole in the wall in kenner. Super cute, not too big , but they do have a few tables that you can sit at. They also have this amazing ice and it's so smooth and just delicious. During the Mardi Gras season they are also a king cake hub which is even more exciting! Line isn't too bad if you get there as soon as they open. There was absolutely no sense of urgency from the staff despite the line being to the door, and the place is the size of a closet so there was nowhere to sit and wait while the two sloths behind the counter dragged their feet making shakes. The ice cream they serve is just Blue Bell, so if ice cream is what you're after, here's my advice: skip this place, go to the grocery, get a tub of Blue Bell, go home and serve it yourself. Lovely young ladies working. Quick service and very polite. They had a long line when we arrived but it moved quickly because everyone was working not socializing or anything like that. Awesome menu selections! We ordered half pineapple/half mango snowball, cotton Candy snowball, and a pina colada stuffed wit soft serve, as well as funnel fries. All of which were very delicious. I've been coming here for years, since they first opened. And we used to come often but have since found a new spot. Everytime we have went the past year we are there for atleast 30 minutes but most times an hour. We've all noticed a decline in service and quality. We started going to a new place (probably 5 times) and they know us by first name basis, always interact with the kids and are very patient. I've been to flavors probably 100 times and never have they ever talked to me more than taking my order. Most of the time they are out of the menu items they show which causes a delay in ordering for us and they always seem aggravated. We went last night and ordered 3 different things that were all sold out. So after waiting an hour we also didn't get what we came for. One of the items I specifically asked what was in it, just to be given a cup full of cake and a small scoop of ice cream. Not sure why they haven't gotten more staff and or equipment but it's a disservice to the customers, especially since most are children, to have them waiting for 30 minutes to an hour. read more

I had never had a snoball before and visiting with friends in the area, they insisted I give it a try. First of all there are a lot of flavors. Has to be over 50. On top of that you can mix the flavors, add ice cream, cheesecake or condensed milk to it. If this is your first time I say stick to what is pleasing to your palette. The mixes can get quite creative and complex. I had a mix with pineapple ice cream, amaretto & wedding cake. My friend got a mix he has coined the Stanley cup. It consists of tiger blood mixed with wedding cake with cheesecake in middle and berries with condensed milk on top. Both were so satisfying. I was pleased. Wish I had one near me to visit. They also have nachos that you can add crawfish and jalapeños. They serve blue bell ice cream too. read more

This place is awesome especially during Mardi Gras. They are essentially a king cake hub in Kenner. They were carrying my favorite king cake which is from Meche's Donuts from Lafayette, which is how I initially heard about them, but Meches was selling them day old king cakes and calling them fresh so Flavor's had to stop distribution from them. I am proud of Flavor's for standing up to Meche's because they choose to be honest with their customer base to only sell them fresh king cakes. It is just disappointing because Meches IS my favorite king cake of all time and now I either have to drive to Lafayette or pay double to overnight it. Regardless of what transpired with who, this place is professional and everyone is courteous. Whoever is in charge of marketing is brilliant. I see a big future for that person. They so house some super popular king cakes from Hi Do, Dong Phuong, Caludas, etc. but you have to check their facebook page to see what is coming and when. They are also pretty good and returning messages if you leave them one on facebook. I haven't tried their ice cream or snoballs but next time I am in Kenner, I will. Flavors workers appear worn out and over worked every time I go there. I see the same three girls struggling to keep up with the constant line. The management appears very poor and very unorganized. I personally asked a girl working if they received the tips, as I was getting ready to tip big. She proceeded to explain that the owner takes everything in the tip jar and they never get a penny. In my opinion that is very unfair due to the fact that they are not given breaks and are steadily working every time I visit! As far as service goes it's majority of the time great aside from being backed up due to the long line and lack of workers. I've always found snoballs to be a little on the boring side, dessert-wise, but Flavors' over-the-top custom creations make this into a worthwhile cheat day treat for me. Been to Disney and love the Dole Whip? You can frequently find it here, and not just Pineapple... they also have Mango, Orange, etc. My daughter's go-to snoball is now a "Mermaid" stuffed with pineapple dole whip. She raves about it. I usually get a waffle cone of the Dole Whip and I'm happy, although sometimes I'll split one of their HUGE sundaes with the hubby instead. So many flavors to choose from...
